We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)

Holy craparoni! This was the longest journey to find a blog -- EVAH! I shoudda booked a ticket from a travel agent to get here!! bwahahahaha!!!!! C'mon chatters, get busy!! Oh, and this is a great idea! Thanks Cpgem8!!! *hearts;
Hi I think I made it but I am not sure how this works. Where does my comment go from here. Do I have to do the word verification with each comment? I feel so stupid. Who all is here right now/
Maureen - Nice to see you. It's ok about the e-mail. I know how busy you can be. My babies are fine, they are brushed and ready for the night. I am almost ready for bed too. I have been working hard to get on this site.

OK I'm Back for a few, Moweenie, Cookies sound GREAT so does COFFEE, Wheres Jax and Birdee????? Jax emailed me and told me she don't know what else to say tonite. I think shes tired. My throat is killing me who knows why, maybe I talked to much today. Imagine that. I have to get Vincent & Victor on the bus, then take the 2 dogs for haircuts, then go to the dentist for a filling.
Eve, Jax and I were instant messaging and all of a sudden she disappeared. Maybe she is having some computer issues. Don't forget to wave as you pass thru Cleveland next month! CPGEM8, YOU ate all the cookies????? Some hostess you are turning out to be!!! What about some confections? Got any of them to share? LOL Tomorrow I will bring some doughnuts and extra coffee for everyone!! (maybe some amaretto to give the coffee an added boost!!)

Read all FOUR overnight posts to Rossland before even making my a.m. potty stop. That's just wrong :o) Oh, yeah.....gonna like it here. Welcome Jodi, Whab & Delores...sorry the trip here was so exhausting we didn't stay up to greet you. BUT, the coffee's on, everybody. I'll even share my oatmeal & blueberries :o)
Hi iteach - I hated report card time especially the years when they wanted us to write a long personal account about the child. It was supposed to be like a newsy letter. You try to do that and not have all the good kids sounding like the same report - it was hard. Then report cards got easier because we did comments on each subject. What are your report cards like? Do you have letter grades?
That is what we were doing when I left. I didn't find them too hard to do. For the years when we had to type a couple of pages on each child, telling the parents something unique about his/her kid it used to take us a couple of hours a report card. I used to look back at my old report cards that had little 'tics' beside each subject and I used to wonder why we had to work so hard. Oh those were the days. Even the ones you are doing take quite a long time don't they? It always felt good to get them in to the principal early. I never worked well under pressure. Good Luck with them.

Bear and Joey - I just saw today's quote. I am leaving my computer still laughing. You both are welcome here anytime.
Zona - When you visit me we can look for our local sea monster. He is called Caddy which is short for Cadborosaurus. He has been seen many times and I think he is more impressive than Okopogo. People from the Okanagan don't think so but we do. He is estimated to be between 50 and 100 feet long. His speed has been clocked at 40 knots (46mph). He appears serpent like with a head and neck similar to a horse. His colour ranges from blackish blue to gray brown. He loves to eat vegetables. We will take long walks on the beach with VIG and try to see him.
Maureen - I will pass on news as soon as I get it. VIG will arrive in Kuwait at 2:00 p.m Friday, Pacific Daylight time. She flew from Toronto to Frankfurt, Germany and then to Kuwait. She said it may be quite awhile before she can e-mail because she will have to get set up with a new adaptor for her computer. She also starts off with a lot of meetings.

M = meeting expectations
D= developing
N= not meeting expectations
That is the type of letter grades we use. Then on the back we have room to write about four sentences of comments for each quarter.

People from the Okanagan don't think so but we do. He is estimated to be between 50 and 100 feet long. His speed has been clocked at 40 knots (46mph). He appears serpent like with a head and neck similar to a horse. His colour ranges from blackish blue to gray brown. He loves to eat vegetables. We will take long walks on the beach with VIG and try to see him.

ReplyDeleteMaureen - I will pass on news as soon as I get it. VIG will arrive in Kuwait at 2:00 p.m Friday, Pacific Daylight time. She flew from Toronto to Frankfurt, Germany and then to Kuwait. She said it may be quite awhile before she can e-mail because she will have to get set up with a new adaptor for her computer. She also starts off with a lot of meetings.
