i have tired to pin point the exact poundage
however it alludes me, so for now until
i find the words:
when we created this night owl blog
it was for all, to compose, enjoy, and most
of all chat, friendships have been made
laughter has been found, yellow is present
it is fun for me, kinda like "what is everyone
up to" when i find one blogger happy it is
a feel good thing, we do a happy dance
and praise the happiness
when a blogger is going thru a difficult
time, we stand by them, give them comfort
and tell them under no uncertain terms that we
are here for them
i want to see the happiness, and i want to see
the turmoil, it is what i call "life"
so bad or good its ok, put it out there
let us cheer you on or let us comfort you
i really don't think one blogger can bring
this blog down, as the next blogger will
bring it up, its a balancing act, just like "life"
we need to realize what we have created here
it is something so unique that i don't think
it can be explained, i do know that whoever
is reading this knows, you feel it, you see it
good, bad, indifferent, fat, skinny

Carol...I too love this blog. It has helped me through some months that were dark and grey and sad and now the sun is shining again. I am amazed by the people here, wonderful and incredible people I consider friends. We are all different and diverse and unique and on others blogs that has created problems, but here, Carol, you have created a culture of respect. If there is a problem it doesn't come to the blog...but works itself out elsewhere. Drama free is greatly appreciated.
I also like that one can be a big or a little presence on the blog...whatever works best for one's individual needs. Work and travelling for work dictates how much time I can spend on the blog and some times I don't get on for awhile and I am welcomed back on when I return and I really love that.
Sometimes what I write goes unnoticed and that is okay, because the blog is cathartic..and just writing thoughts down in a public forum makes them real and gives meaning to what I am thinking and writing about.
SO for all those reasons I say the biggest thank you possible Carol..you have created a home!

zona....yes kodi is still in time-out. i had to leave to go back to work. the sad thing is alyeska had to go in time out too. guilty by association poor thing. if he gets in trouble, she gets upset and wants to be in the room with him. that and the litter boxes are in there. and extra food and water. but aly gets so upset if he is in that room with the door shut and she is not in there with him.

Zona - When you visit me we can look for our local sea monster. He is called Caddy which is short for Cadborosaurus. He has been seen many times and I think he is more impressive than Ogopogo. People from the Okanagan don't think so but we do. He is estimated to be between 50 and 100 feet long. His speed has been clocked at 40 knots (46mph). He appears serpent like with a head and neck similar to a horse. His colour ranges from blackish blue to gray brown. He loves to eat vegetables. We will take long walks on the beach with VIG and try to see him.

Zona- I use to be reall stubborn about turning the furnance on. I use to have this rule to wait until Nov. 1st. I did that for the longest time until the children came.

Zona - Don't worry. Caddy swims way out in the deep water. He hasn't been seen for years but people still look out over the water and think they see him. He is like the Loch Ness Monster. No one has proved he really exists but a lot of people think they have seen him. If we did see him and got his picture we would be famous.

Hi everyone! Flying by very quickly because AI is about to start!
I was out and about all day running errands, appointments, you name it! Life just sucks the life right out of us doesn't it????
Wonderful blog Carol. I try not to bring any bad "karma" to the Blog. If I have in the past few weeks, please let me know, OK? I am very sorry if that has been the case.
This is a "place of refuge" for all of us. A place where no judgements are made, a place we can go knowing that our words, feelings and comments will be heard by loving, caring individuals, diverse in beliefs, but united in that common goal.
As for celebrating the 100th BLOG. How about the "drinking game"? Every time the word 100 comes up you must take a drink of SOMETHING!!! Could be water, coffee, tea, soda/pop, or if you are very liberal, something a bit more "strong"!!! Just a thought!

Joey - I think I have figured out WHY you thought I was only a two hour difference from the East Coast..
our shows like Idol, come on at 7pm, so our news starts at 10pm.
SO - I get to see the shows before the West coast - does this make sense?!!

Niters DonnaJean!' I had lunch today at the Olive Garden with 20 of my ex-co workers. My dessert was lemon chiffon cake. I had to hit the treadmill when I got home! It was worth it!
