Wonderment of Beginning's

Today is a day of a new beginning, our new President will be chosen today, as we the people have spoken, and will be voting for who we believe will be the best person to lead our country.

My vote for President might perhaps be different from yours, our views for what we want in a President might be different as well. However by days end our differences will have to be cast aside and our common thread will begin as we will share the same President. Some might not be happy with the choice that was voted on, and some might be ecstatic. No matter what our feelings, it is what shall be, and we will be a America with a new President. I only hope that these changes that were so very much wanted by both parties, become reality and all the talk was not for naught.

As I continue on my day and wait patiently for the results, I will also be thinking of this blog, as today marks our 300th blog. It has been quite a journey, a journey that was so unexpected yet so satisfying. My written word that was hidden for so many of my years, has surfaced, and given me such pleasure. The daily blogs that have been created here, by myself and others have become a start to my day. The friendships that have been made are just a testament of how this blog creates a wonderment of life.

Life is full of surprises at every turn. And today is no exception. We will be surprised as to our President elect, and just as surprised to realize we have all been thru 300 blogs. Much different of course, but life just the same.

Wonderment of Beginnings, it is just the journey, its the road, straight, narrow, curvy, no matter the form, it will be life~

  1. Good morning Carol! Congrats on 300 blogs! I wasn't here from the beginning, but I think I came on board several weeks later. It has been quite a ride. I have expressed myself here in ways I would never have in my "real" life. I'm not sure if that means you guys have been a good or bad influence. Lol! Here's to another 300! (raising my glass of champaign) Cheers!

Good luck with your new president!

Carol wonderful blog this morning! I can't believe we have hit 300! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY OWLS!

This blog has been a happy place, a place for solace and support when needed.

We have our differences but that is the spice of life! Somehow we always come together and care for one another. That is the most wonderful thing you can find in this world.

I am continually(one l two l's?) amazed at the intelligence and openess of the blogs written by us all. The wit is a given.

Thank you Carol and all of the Owls for a soft place to land everyday.

Sending out healing prayers for everyone who needs them today!

MEK sending you a gold star for going out to vote! Well a gold star for everyone who is voting today! LOL

  16. I voted this morning, the lines were not long at all. Three people were ahead of me... Our schools are closed, as we vote in our schools. Each area of our town votes in different schools. Once in the school there are about 4 voting machines set up, as then they go by district. The voting machine is new, its a digital, you press the candidate's name and a green x lights up... when you are done with your selection, you hit a button on the bottom of the machine "cast vote" and you are done...

    Easy!

  17. LynnD:
I like todays blog today too... And I agree... amazing place...

  18. I have to go to work....

  19. Carol to answer your question about mum. It really isn't a setback, the cancer is just slowly progressing. If she takes the pain medication the doctor has given her (morphine) is should help her quite a lot. The problem is making sure she takes it when she needs it and not waiting till it gets so bad she has to be hospitalized. The only other alternative for treatment is radiation which she has had twice already and doesn't want again. It's a very slow procressing, painful ugly disease and I wish someone could invent a pill that would get rid of all cancers forever.

I will place my gold star right next to my "I voted" sticker...

  21. Good Morning Everyone and congratulations on #300.

I didn't plug in my MacBook last night so I will be back later when I get my upstairs chores done and my downstairs warmed up with the wood stove. My oil furnace warms upstairs first. See you in a while. Happy Election Day my friends in the U.S.A.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Shirley: So do I! More money for Cancer Research, less for war!

Carol: Wow! 300! And the nest is going strong! Sincere appreciation to you and all the nesters who keep it vibrant, fun, and alive!

Speaking of keeping, I'm keeping my fingers crossed all day regarding Prop 8.

Here's a sample of why I'm so worried... and almost over-the-top angry, as well, to be honest:

    Sickening!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Did someone say Champagne????? Congrats to everyone on the 300th blog!

I love our differences and our sameness. I love how we can share our thoughts, troubles and happiness. I love how we can pick each other up, but not put each other down. I just plain love you all!! *sniff*

Pardon me while I collect myself....

  28. I just have to fly in - and then go pick up my mom..

Here's a funny - i was going to go vote around 9a.m, cuz I figured the morning lines would be gone - BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOO, i went earlier. well, yes, there was a line, but didn't take very long - as I walked out at 9:10 - there is NO line!!!!!!! WTF - where is everyone??!!!

So, I have cast my vote and am SO proud to be an American!!

What really concerned me - was the uninformed voter in line behind me that was talking on his cell phone that had NO idea about any of the propositions we were voting on today!! GOOD LORD..........

Okay - I'm off to get mom and pick up my Barney!!

sorry that I haven't read the comments - will do that later!!

    hugs to all!!!!!!!!!!!

  30. I just have to share something with you all....I am feeling so very upbeat today...I had an appointment yesterday with a new doctor...He spoke with me for an HOUR!!! Not your normal 15 minutes...an HOUR!!! AND he not only spoke...he LISTENED!!! He suggested some new treatments which is exciting (at least to me) but even if they don't work, I can't tell how much it meant just to have someone understand the frustrations and pain that have ruling my life! I didn't feel rushed, I didn't feel like I was whining, I felt like someone finally GOT it!!! I may even send a letter to that effect...

    ReplyDelete
  31. Scirish--
So glad you had a good appt.

It is so frustrating to be a number and not a person when it comes to health care..

  33. *****HAPPY 300th BLOG EVERYONE!!!*****

CAROL~ my freind, what you have done to establish this place is just amazing. You put so much into it, just so we can have a safe place to come to every day, read the Blog, rant and vent if we need to, cry when we want, offer support and encouragement to others, or request the same for ourselves!

Where else could so many wonderful people from all over the country and Canada come together and just express ourself and actually be heard without judgement?

Many days I have not posted, but I have read every single Blog, sometimes more than a few times, when I needed it.

Yes, I do look forward to each new day's Blog. It is the first site, after my email, that I turn to each day. Sometimes it makes me laugh, sometimes it makes me think, sometimes it makes me cry. It is what I call LIFE.

And everyone of you that have written a Blog, and posted comments, you too have lifted my spirits, encouraged me, supported me and Miss Laurie. I don't really know how to express my heartfelt thanks to each and every one. Maybe just a simple THANK YOU is enough.

So, I will also raise my glass to Carol and everyone else. May the next 300 be as wonderful as the first!!!

Peace and Love To All, Now and Forever,
    Donna Jean & Laurie Elizabeth

  34. GOOD MORNING ALL!!

CONGRATULATIONS ALL ON 300, to our #1(Shirley), and....

HAPPY CRUISIN' PAST 50 BIRTHDAY TO CARYN/OUTATUUNE!!

I vote YES to the 'No More Cancer' pill, and NO, NO, NO to Prop 8.

    ((MEK & Rainbow Barney))

Scirish~~Kudos to the new, attentive doctor. What a blessing that can be. BTW, love your new avatar. I magnified it and see it's a tobacconist shop. Bet that's where Goldie's brownie Rx is~~~Kewl!

Fun seeing everyone's voting experiences today. Hope it goes smoothly for EVERYONE! And thanks, Canadian Owls for your wishes to your southern neighbors. CHEERS TO 300!!

  35. Happy Election Day Owls.

I have already voted by mail so I am off to do other things today. I have a 10:00 appointment so I must be brief.

Carol, I saw on the Today show that your Gov. waited in line for 1 1/2 hours in Hoboken to vote. He didn't get VIP treatment. Very impressive. So one leg of the journey for the candidates will be over today and for one of them a new leg will begin.

    Zona, (((HUGS)))

    MEK, (((HUGS))

I must go now, but I will be back. Waving a wing at all the other Owls. Sorry I don't have time to name you all, but I love you all.

Happy 300th blog Carol and all the Owls.

  36. CAROL: I have only been here a short few weeks, however it is amazing how attached I have become to everyone. Even though I have never meant any of you in person with the exception of Slin, I find you very much in my thoughts and prayers throughout the day when anyone of you is going through hardships. The silly things go through my head also.

SHIRLEY: I missed you here yesterday. Thanks for the Halloween bash you threw. You REALLY ARE a fantastic writer. I think you could be right up there with Harry Potter author.

SCIRISH:I am happy for you for finding such a great doctor. I remember our original family physician. He knew my body and my mind. He treated the whole person not just a body part. Boy I miss him.

MEK: I know how hard it is to pick up our beloved pets remains. My heart goes out to our clients when they have to say goodbye to their beloved pet and when they are picked up afterward. It is wonderful to know them when their pet is basically healthy, but also as sad as it is when it is over, I am glad to share in the goodbye and hopefully be of support. I probably wrote this too late, as you probably already let to pick him up.

  37. CAROL - Great blog...and congrats on 300!!! I just want to say how much I appreciate you everyday!!! You have made this my "happy place".....I triple luv it!!! I just got back from voting....please exercise your right to vote today!!

ZONA - Thank you for posting for me yesterday!!!

I just wanted to thank everyone for your kind comments. I'm feeling better today. I don't know what happened, but about mid morning yesterday I had a fever that just hit me like a brick, and body aches. I slept the better part of the next 16 hours. I did work this morning, and feeling almost like a whole woman again!!!

NO NEWZ - Here is a sample of my signature yodel......Hodi-lay, hodi-lay, hodi-lay-he-who!!!

I think it's a bit early, but what the hell.....raising a glass of bubbly to CAROL and all my HOoter friends!!!

  40. G'morning, SacBarb, Jodi, Lani...So glad you're feeling better, Jodi. Your post reminded me...am I the only one who had LESS discomfort/soreness from this year's flu shot than any before? Just a teensy bruise spot and it didn't feel like I'd been slugged in the arm the next day.

Lani, I called this morning too, to confirm my drop-box ballot made it in. Thought I'd be put on hold, but in seconds was advised the date (10/30) my ballot was received and validated. Feels good!

  41. I will not be voting for another 5 hours or so. Leaving work to mark my vote for the candidate I believe in. We here in Hawaii will start to hear the early lead before most of us get the chance to cast our votes.

Do not have computer access at home right now, so I will check in until I leave to vote.

Thoughts to all that need them.

Congrats Carol on creating a place where so many find refuge, laughter, comfort and friendship.

    Later all~

  45. WHOA, LOL, About a million thoughts are going through my head. It isn't everyday that one more or less just meets someone and discusses their personal use of gel. Could it be a brand name?

  51. The following is a rant. Please feel free to skip it.

I got my replacement CPAP machine earlier today and decided a little while ago to check it out and make sure it worked how it was suppose to. The stupid humidifier leaks! You would think they would check their stuff before sending it out. DUH!!I called the company and I can't get a replacement for the replacement until Thursday. So now I have to sleep two night without a humidifier. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

    Thank you for listening/reading.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Thanks, Lani and Bon'O and Goldie and everybody for your support on this!

We shall overcome some day, and maybe even today.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Congrats on first, Shirley, and I'm sorry about your CPAP machine. My Dad uses one of those and they always set it up and get it working before they leave. They should have done that with yours!

Carol, congratulations on the 300th blog! And, thank you for creating a safe place to land. It's been great "meeting" all of you!

I went with my hubby and oldest son to vote today. It was my son's first time and he was excited. He said he checked his vote 10 times to make sure he voted correctly. LOL We only had to wait in line about 30 minutes--not bad at all.

Whabbear, I pray that one day the world will be free of haters.

    MEK, hugs to you today.

Scirish, so glad to hear you found a doctor to listen! Hopefully you'll get some relief.

Jodi, glad you're feeling better! I can tell, too! I heard you yodel all the way down here in GA!

  54. Renee Eve asked me to tell you all that she will be out of the nest and off myspace for a few days. She's dealing with some issues with her son right now.

She could really use our prayers.

    ReplyDelete
  55. SHIRLEY: I am with you. There just isn't any pride in the workplace any more. Of course it should have been checked before sending. It is even more important when it comes to medical supplies.

BEAR: I just don't understand the premise of restoring traditional marriage as yes on 8 likes to claim. Restore what? How does NO on 8 change "traditional marriage"?
I was born and raised in SF and have had gay friends including my brother and I have never seen anyone trying to force their lifestyle on anyone. Is this what people are afraid of? Tell me what you know.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I send my prayer to Renee Eve. Please tell her if you speak with her.

    ReplyDelete
  57. There have been ads showing Barack is for NO on 8. Now I just got a robo call with him saying he is not for gay marriage. His words were taken out of context. It is true that he has said he thinks marriage should be between a man and a woman, however he is for NO on 8.

    ReplyDelete
  58. SLANI - I've been doused with those damn robocalls for the last week. And I'll never know how they got my cell #.

  64. SLANI - Gonna be weird.....election night without Tim. :(

    ReplyDelete
  65. HOdi: I am new to this. Does 100 require gel?

    ReplyDelete
  66. SLANI - Only if you use the "Slip N Slide" method!!! Most times all you really need is a good pair of marching boots (JUST SLIN might have an extra pair!!!). Although sometimes full body armor is needed. These HO's (especially TINA) can be ruthless!!!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Thanks Hodi. I probably can't wear her boots as she wears a man's size 13 boot. It is good she has such large feet since with her quite voluptuous chest she would tip forward.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I should probably stop writing due to the fact I think I am having some kind of breakdown over this election. I won't have any friends left.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Shirley Congrats on first and so sorry about the CPAP machine. They really should be more careful about medical equipment.

Carol Congrats on the 300th blog. This place has been a real joy to me. It was such a treasure to find it during a time when I desperately needed some light and laughs in my life. I thank you all for that.

Bear I sent in my ballot a couple of weeks ago and I voted No on 8. I think there have been more scare tactics used during this election than any other I remember.

scirish I am so happy you found a doctor that really listens to you. Yipee!!!!

Kgrl Congrats on 69, without gel! I have found with age that I have a lot less "down there" than I used to. Custard and I have jokingly decided that my Indian name would be Balding Beaver. Bwahahahaha!!!!!!!

Lani LOL @ asking if 100 requires gel!

Sandie Kudos to your son for his first time voting!

Jodi Congrats on 100 and very clever using the Slip N Slide.

BonO I got very sore after my flu shot, which lasted about a week, and felt a bit sick for a day.

  74. That deleted comment was mine.

I meant to include Early State Outcome Projections in the question, which was.....Is it just because I'm on the left coast, or does anyone else think exit polls (insert AND EARLY PROJECTIONS) should be banned?

Thought of just sticking with the delete, but I'm curious about your opinions. Thoughts?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Hodi, I have seen her bras hanging on the line and believe you me they are the size of pup tents.

    ReplyDelete
  76. BON: I don't really see anything wrong with it. Are they afraid it will influence voting or that people won't bother to vote if they think it is hopeless for their choice? Am I right - they are banning it?

    ReplyDelete
  77. Well, actually polling can be misleading.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Afternoon Owls!

I had to run errands and just got home!

I see Gel and slipping and sliding and all kinds of things going on! LOL

Bear I lit a candle for Mr. O today and added a prayer for Prop 8 to go down in flames!

I am tired of division and hate!

Bon I think they should ban exit polls because people don't always tell the truth. I would rather wait to hear the real results as they come in, thank you very much!

But we now live in the 24 hour news cycle and they have to have something to yammer about!

I am a nervous wreck. Leaving in a while to go to my friends to watch the results come in! Gonna have food and snacks and drinks! Hoping I will get to do my Snoopy dance as I have been practicing off and on all day!

PS I think Presidential election days should be a national holiday so everyone can get to the polls! JMO

    ReplyDelete
  79. Weeell I did not mean to scare everyone away! Was it the visual of me doing my Snoopy dance?

I am headed out will check in with you all later!

    Peace and Love everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Bon'O, I thought they did change that this year? I really thought they weren't doing that because they found it does influence voters. Did I imagine all that?

I wanna see your Snoopy dance, LynnD!!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Lani You have never seen my bras hanging anywhere! LOL

BonO They probably should eliminate exit polling. I'm afraid too many people who may have not yet voted will get swayed by that and then feel there is no reason for them to go vote.

    ReplyDelete
  82. LYNN:You didn't scare me away. I agree there is too much hashing. It is very upsetting to think the person you want to win is ahead and then it changes. Too emotional. I don't want another 2000. I will happy dance with you.

  83. Happy 300th Day!

  84. I just got a phone call from "Pets West" and they told me Tango and Tia won first prize in their costume photo contest. They get a $50 gift certificate and a bag of different doggie items. I must rush over and get it. I am happy I entered them in the contest. It has turned a rather dismal day into a fun one.

  103. Carol,

As I've said many times before, Thank you for creating this special place for all of us. Some days when I'm in pain, or need a smile, and maybe some laughter, The Nest always provides my sunshine.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for caring so much about us all those months ago so we could stay together. Some I had never met, but knew that we all just wanted to be 'tedious'.

Congratulations on #300 blog, with so many more to come.

  104. Good Evening Owls.

Bon, I don't trust exit polls either. And I am not crazy about the idea of early projections, ever since 2000. Our polls are open for another 2 hours and 15 minutes and our local stations used to wait until 8:00 before projecting winners, but not this year.

Tango & Tia, Congrats on winning the costume contest and congrats to your Mommy , too.

LYNND: Are you doing shots again at the Election Party? HMMMM, I wonder how that would work?

IBB: I can see you now don't want me cheering for the Redskins...I am not exactly lucky!

MEK: Thinking about you today. Hugs

RENEE EVE: I hope you are doing okay and coping with everytthing.

I have been out all day for lunch, Hospice and errands. Those little ladies at the nursing home were very full of chatter today and it was nice to hear them talking. They make me smile and I hopefully make them have a smile or two also.

Time to eat pizza and watch the election returns.

  114. *****HAPPY ELECTION EVENING EVERYONE*****

I have been trying very hard to stay away from the TV until much later in the evening, because I hate the Early Predictions and various Analysis' from every one and his brother!

California Polls are still open until 8 PM! We have 55 Electoral Votes, those HAVE to be added in, but I guess they will just figure out an average from all the early voting, and then add our share. I hope that is fair.

After all is said and done, no matter who is elected President, I hope we can all come together as a united people and country, especially for our men and women in the Military. They deserve the utmost concern and priority, to bring them home swiftly and safely, and to end this horrible war as quickly as possible!!! I think everyone, no matter what your political persuasion is, will agree.

Only then can we really get down and deal with all the problems we face as a nation, such as healthcare for all, the economy, foreclosures, global warming, energy, etc!

I left the house shortly after I posted this morning. I spent most of my day at the Dr's, the Dentist, the Lab for blood work, and then the Xray Dep't. Better to get all those awful procedures done in one swift swoop, if you ask me!

Then it was errands to run. On my way to Target, I had to cross the Freeway on an overpass. There was a VERY peaceful demonstration happening. On one side was the YES on 8 crowd, and then next to them were the NO on 8 people. The traffic was at a standstill. I quickly grabbed my notepad and pen and wrote NO ON 8, EQUALITY FOR ALL! And as I passed slowly by them, I rolled down my window and showed the YES people my note, and they clapped for me. WTF, didn't they READ my note??? DIMWITS!!!

When I passed the people for NO on 8 I did the same and also gave them the thumbs up and peace sign and international sign laguage for LOVE, and they all yelled THANK YOU and gave the LOVE sign back!! It felt so good!!!

Oh, I almost forgot, I was #50 today. Now, I think I read somewhere on this Blog, that 50 is the NEW 69! So, K-GIRL and I have something in common today! And, I giggled alot when I read LANI calling her K-Gel! Hmmmm, sounds quite a bit like KY Jelly to me. LOL! Anyone up to being addresed as Astro-Glide??? Not me, I am taking myself out of the running!

It was so good for me to be so busy today, as it would have been my 38th Wedding Anniversary today. My sweet daughter's remembered with a beautiful message on my voicemail (I was gone, remember) and my daughter in Sacramento sent a very sweet email, and then my daughter and granddaughter who live close, came to the house and brought me flowers and a card.
    It was so wonderful!

I have been very down and depressed these past couple of weeks. I am like this every year at this time. I think about what life would be like if my Larry hadn't died. And how much easier life would be with Larry by my side to help with Miss Laurie.

But, it's amazing, on the day of my Anniversary, which is today, I always feel better, like a load has been lifted off my shoulders. I don't know why, and I don't want to speculate as to why. I just think that my body knows, and deals with LIFE.

There is a song, though, that I always listen to (at least these past few years) by Diamond Rio, a Country Song titled "One More Day". It is a very special song, and the words mean so much:

    "ONE MORE DAY"

Last night I had a crazy dream
A wish was granted just for me,
    It could be for anything
    I didn't ask for money
    Or a mansion in Malibu
I simply wished, for one more day with you

    Chorus

    One more day
    One more time
One more sunset, maybe I'd be satisfied
    But then again
I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still, for one more day with you

First thing I'd do, is pray for time to crawl
    Then I'd unplug the telephone
    And keep the tv off
    I'd hold you every second
    Say a million I love you's
That's what I'd do. With one more day with you

    Chorus

Leave me wishing still for one more day
Leave me wishing still for one more day

It is a beautiful song, one that many can relate to.

Well, as usual, I have writen my Novel!

May you all enjoy the rest of the evening, and tomorrow will be "A BRAND NEW DAY" for all of us!

    Peace and Love to All,
    Donna Jean

  121. Kudos to John McCain for service to country, both 'back in the day' and for still being a fighter for his dreams for that country in his 70's, when we all know he could well afford to kick back, relax and live the life of luxurious leisure.

Having said that, God Bless the America I hope we can become again. This goes SO beyond Barack Obama, to something I guess you have to be 'of a certain age' to fully comprehend. We have an opportunity to again attain a place of honor in the world.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Well owls, McCain is conceding.

Barack Hussein Obama is our New President!

Congrats to him and all of you who voted for him.

I hope now as I said in my blog today, that the changes he said that would come forth become a reality. For his self worth, and for all who voted and believed in him...

I will honor my new President...

And I will bid farewell to President Bush, with whom I have always admired.

America still and will always make me proud, no matter who our president is...

  123. Well, it's been quite a night of television, riveting that's for sure. Being a Canadian I will offer no more comment on what is a huge American event. I only wish prosperity and safety to both your country and mine and of course to the whole world as well. We will all watch and wait to see what happens next.

Mek - Thinking of you. (((Hugs)))

Thanks to Ronnie, SacBarb and Carol for their comments about Tango and Tia's win. I am saving the prizes in the big blue bag for Santa to give them next month. Tia thought she should be allowed to have them since it was her picture. Of the two of them I think Tia is becoming the biggest DIVA.

Good Night and God Bless all of our owls tonight. Love, Tinka

  130. BonO I am blocked from MS so can't respond to you there. Prop 8 is close, but the wrong side, "Yes" has a 6 point lead right now. Too close to call.

I have an announcement on MS from Tom saying that my account has been phished and I need to change my password. I keep changing it but I am still getting that announcement and am still blocked from sending messages, etc. I wrote to MS about it and got a reply that a code may be hidden in my HTML and I need to remove it all. Problem is, I am barred from editing my profile. I'm highly frustrated and annoyed.

  131. Hello, anyone here????

I too, want to give my sincere congratulations to Senator McCain for his most eloquent and sincere concession speech tonight.

He showed such dignity while giving his speech, quieting down those who booed President Elect Obama. That shows to me a man who is to be respected above all!!

I have always admired Senator McCain, even though we are on different sides of the political spectrum.

I remember so much of his imprisonment in Vietnam.

I was very young then, just a young, newly married woman, who watched the news alot. And I still do!

I was so against the Vietnam War, being a child of the 60's, but I was always on the side of those young men (very few women were there in combat, just in service roles, certainly not like today).

I can so remember Senator McCain being used by the Vietnam Government as a tool for propaganda. It hurt so much to see those images.

I also remember vividly, his release. I kept thinking, here is a true hero, and oh my, he was very cute!!! Blond and very HOT!

After all these years, he still is a hero. And tonight, he showed "True Grit".
He would have made John Wayne proud.

So, as a proud American, I tip my hat to Senator John McCain.

I am looking forward to him returning to the Senate to make the wise and thoughtful decisions for our welfare that he has for so many years!

If any of you are still awake, please sleep well tonight, and have sweet dreams!

And for those that may read this Wednesday mornig, I wish you a Good Morning.

May Peace, Love and Joy enter into everyone's heart.

    Donna Jean

  132. Good Evening all,

I am home and exhausted I have run through every emotion tonight, amazement, wonder, pride, joy, humble awe and very happy and hopeful.

I am so proud of Senator McCain for giving such a gracious and beautiful concession speech. I agree with both these men and say it is time to heal and roll up our sleeves to move this country forward.

I am still hoping and praying prop 8 is defeated!

I have Snoopy Danced my little heart out tonight!

Carol Snoopy dancing is from Peanuts when Snoopy would be so happy and he had his own happy dance.

See all of you in the morning.
