So why is it that whenever I am driving, and in a rush, I get a slow poke in front of me. Now by all means I am not a speedy driver, but geez, move it ppl will you. I truly just want to honk on my horn for like ten minutes, and scare the crap out of the slow poke in front of me. What compounds all of this, is having my parents in the car. I put my xm radio on as there are no commercials, so I can try and drown them out while listening to the music. But to no avail.. It goes something like this...
Mom.. I smell something, did someone let out air?
Dad.. I didn't, did you? (looking over to me)
Me.. no!
Dad.. Well if you did that is really ok, cause its good to fart
Mom.. Yea, that's why I made you eat beans the other night
Dad.. I know, I am glad you did because I don't like to be gassed up, I like to burp and fart. Its good to let the gas out
Mom.. Whenever you are gassed up, you always think you are having a heart attack
Dad.. No, not always, just sometimes, but I can't eat "gravy" anymore because that always repeats on me
Mom.. Did you see, Fox News this morning? These damn politicians
Me.. (((so want to honk on my horn)))
Dad.. Where are we going?
And the conversation continues, farts, burps, economy, politicians, etc etc etc.
By the time I arrive at my destination, my mind is mush, literally mush. Worst of all, my car locks when you get in, so you can't exit quickly, you have to unlock the doors to get out, so now I am stuck in there longer while the two of them try and figure out how to get out of the car. I try to unlock it for them, but as I am doing this, they are pushing the button as well, so we are all locked in, until I say calmly "Let me push the button" and then, and only then with a deep breath from me do we exit.
Welcome to my world!
:O)

Carol sounds just like a family car ride to me. LOL
My ride would sound like this. "Could that fucking car move any slower?" "Dammit all to hell!". "I can walk faster than that moron." "No Don't flip them off!" "You could get us shot"! etc.. You see where this is going.
By the way that is Mr. Lynn D talking. You so don't want to hear my car talk when I am being tail gated. Talk about the air turning blue and my foot just itches to slam on the brake.
Be back in a bit.
LMAO@your car ride with Mom and Dad Carol!! I hate the cars that lock automatically!! lol
ReplyDeleteI see where you get your sense of humor from:)
Have a great Monday y'all! Oh and I saw on The Early Show that Gmail(which I LOVE) is offering an "undo send" feature in case you send a message(which we all have done probably) by mistake..you have about 5 seconds to undo it!! GO to your settings and enable it..I tested it by sending one to myself and it really works!! lol
cpgem - OMG - how about adding MY MOM to that car ride and WELCOME to MY world......
ReplyDeleteShe also reads EVERY frickening street sign, building, billboard - you name it........
There is one exit on the highway that has no where to go - SO, we have no idea why there is even an exit. and EVERY SINGLE TIME we drive on the highway - she will say...
"There's papago road, the road that goes no where"......
AND - the door locks - don't get me started on those......
okay - need to laugh about this, cuz it's REALLY not funny..
EXCELLENT Blog.. thanks for sharing "our" world...

JODI- you are so welcome and we got your vm last night. My family apparently LOVES you and I think my mother wants to adopt you. Thanks again for all the prezzies (totally unnecessary) but greatly appreciated.
Mr. Goldie was on a mission to get me toasted on Saturday and succeeded!
Hope everyone has a good day. We are going to the waterpark and McDonalds and then we are coloring Easter Eggs!

ReplyDeleteMEK will certainly send up a prayer for Mr. MEK!!
Mo feel better soon! If it lasts longer than 6 or 7 days go get antibiotics!
Shirley I think you should accept the pearl necklace. You friend is showing her love and support and it will make everyone feel good! Just my 2 cents.
Morning IBB! Drafting here involves beer or house blue prints.
Waving at Jodi Ho!
I think I have found a way to 6 pack abs! It is called coughing your way to a new body!
Morning Goldie!
ReplyDeleteHmmm turned on the news and seems we do need volcano monitoring! Mt. Redoubt in Alaska blew last night and 19 Alaska Air flights are grounded at SeaTac airport in Seattle! Wonder how far the ash will drift?
ReplyDeleteLYNN D - Took Sam to urgent care...he cough got scary (woke me up in the night on Saturday). She has bronchitis. They did a breathing treatment there and sent us home with a z pack, inhaler and cough medicine with codeine.
ReplyDeleteMO - I hope you get over the crud. And get yourself to the dr....NOW!!!
he cough?!!? s/b....her cough!!! Good grief....need more coffee. :O)
ReplyDeleteTina/Eunice, first again! You must be at the top of Shirley's list by now!
ReplyDeleteCarol, I'm still laughing at your car ride. It could be my car ride with my parents. It seems like we're always talking about Dad's gas, too.
And MEK, my Mom reads everything, too!! OMG, sometimes I want to scream! She even reads things over the phone to me! Prayers and good thoughts to Mr. MEK today.
It's nice to hear we're all experiencing the same things. I don't mean to complain because I love spending time with them. I know how fortunate I am. I know you guys feel the same, so it's nice to vent!
Hi IBB, Joey, Jodi, LynnD (LOL@coughing your way to six-pack abs!)and Goldie!
I'm about to take a 9 hour car ride with my parents back to MD at the end of this week. My Dad keeps saying he'll help me drive and I keep saying he can't drive because he falls asleep too easily in the car. His response was, "I never used to do that until your mother told people I did!" Huh???
Tina ~ Congrats on first!
ReplyDeleteCarol...LOL at your car ride...I get the "damn politicians" all the time. Unfortunately not just in the car. Of course, in the car I am a captive audience.
Sandie...LOL at Dad!!!
Shirley, I think you should take the pearls also, it seems that they are being offered with love.
MEK and Mr MEK...Prayers!!!
Jodi ~ Poor Sam is gonna be zonked!! Hope she is better soon.
SANDIE - Huh?!!? Is right!!!
ReplyDeleteSCIRISH - I warned her about the cough medicine, so she is only taking that after school and before bed.
I best get go prettied up. An ex-co-worker just called and we are meeting for lunch!!!
Good Morning Everyone
ReplyDeleteI really slept in this morning. I will feed my babies and myself, watch Regis and then I will be back. Have a great day everyone.
Congrats on first Tina! Tina, I am really worried about Eunice. Do you think she needs some anti-depressants or something? She is just not keeping up on herself at all. I mean, my gosh, how many days has she left those curlers in? And, she always has a cigarette hanging from her mouth anymore. I bet she goes through 3 packs a day! Is she okay?
ReplyDeleteCarol: LOL, great blog! I can relate totally to getting behind the "slow poke". Mr. Bebbi always comments on this. Somehow, if there is a slow car I will be behind it.Same goes for the lanes in the supermarket. I can always find the one with the price check or a problem. Two lanes: Both the same amount of customers, I pick one. The other one has 30 people go through by the time I go through on mine. I just know how to pick em!
Good morning/afternoon hooters!
ReplyDeleteMr Mary is the one in front of you making you swear lol! He drives so slow sometimes that I ask him if he is moving! Last week we both drove North at different times, me to visit my Brother and hit the Casino for a couple hrs, him to spend all day at the Casino. We left at the same time. I followed for about 10 miles until we had a caravan of cars behind us. They didn't dare pass because there were two of us driving slow. Well I had enough, kicked it in the ass and passed him. I didn't even hit the speed limit to pass him lol!
My pet peeve is slow drivers ahead of me crawling onto the freeway ramps. Drives me crazy!
Tina forgot to congratulate you on 1,2, & 3!
Jodi, yay on 30!!
Keep a close eye on Sam. Coughing like that scares me too!
Again I shut the blog down for an hour. Thank you Bebbi for blogging when you did or I would be getting a complex.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Tina - First again.
Carol - Loved your blog once more. How do you keep coming up with new ones amazes me.
Jodi - Hope Sam is better. I will be writing you today.
Mek - Good march to 10, Who got # 25?
Joey got #15. Have a great day.
Mek - My thoughts and good wishes to Mr. Mek today.
Ibebold - You have a great day too.
Goldie - Have fun at the waterpark.
Sandie - Enjoy your 9 hour car drive with your parents. I wish I could still do that.
Scirish - Hope you are feeling better now.
Zona-My-Baby - Sorry I missed your call yesterday. I was at a family dinner. Call today. I will be home.
Have a great day everyone
Love, Tinka
MEK,You know I will send up prayers and cross everything for Mr MEK.
ReplyDeleteKeep us posted.
Happy Monday Owls.
ReplyDeleteCarol, LMAO at your car conversation. Reminds me of when I ride with my Uncle. He talks about his bodily functions all the time. And MEK, he also reads all the signs he sees, but he thinks it's funny to put the accent on the wrong syllable. (He used to be an English teacher) Then he will see something that makes him think of a very old song, that he proceeds to sing.
He lives in New York, but I travel with them frequently for 3-4 weeks at a time. Every time we go to Hawaii, he MUST sing "Little Grass Shack" at least 50 times. But he is 85, and I love him dearly, so I am not really complaining, just venting like Sandie said.
BTW, this is off topic, but I was talking to this same Uncle yesterday and he was telling me about a neighbor "who is up in age." WTH is "up in age" to an 85 year old? 100???
Tina, Congrats on #1.
ReplyDeleteJodi, I always say "the light doesn't get any greener" too.
MEK, praying for you and the Mr.
Lynn, tailgating is one of my pet peeves too. I will often tap the brake to get them to BACK OFF!
Tinka, congrats on 50. We soon will have to name that the Tinka number.
Waving also to IBB, Joey, Goldie, Scirish, Bebbi, and all who land later.
My painter should be here at noon. I am sooo excited.
Hi Mary, We were typing at the same time. I hate being behind people that creep onto the freeway too. I tend to have a bit of a lead foot.
ReplyDeleteHi Sacbarb! Your new paint colors sound great. I would love to get a virtual tour of your new kitchen!
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to get Mr Mary to loosen up his checkbook and redo mine lol! I think it would look better with HIS money bwah ha ha!!
BBL, I have to chase down my Aux. Pres to get her to sign some checks for me... not for my kitchen lol!
ReplyDeletelol Carol~ I think I've driven with your parents~ When I take my dad to the Doctor, I always tell my mom that when we get home, I'll be able to tell her everything that is bothering my dad! He doesn't stop talking....or should i say ranting!!! And God forbid someone cuts us off or goes slow in front of us...and he wonders why his blood pressure is high when we get to the doctors office!!!
ReplyDeleteSo i have to tell you about my weekend...it started out great...cousin made it in and we went to the movies (The Reader!) and Friday we went to the scrapbook expo. I called my son that night to find out who won the lacrosse game. He called me back later and said they won, but something just wasn't right. He said he'd tell me later....i just figured he was upset about something and too many of his friends were around. So I didn't get home until 1am and her comes my son....with the fattest pinky i've ever seen....he thought it was broken....so Saturday morning, we went to Urgent Care and sure enuf....it's broken...he's got his arm wrapped up all the way to his elbow!!! No lacrosse for 3-4 weeks....and he can hardly write....and to add insult to injury (think like a 16yr old here) HE CAN'T PLAY XBOX EITHER!!! Then....last night our power went out...lol....we were all forced to go to bed early...it was really weird!!! It's not like the storm was bad....btw...it's now snowing!!!!! Can someone please tell me when spring begins? AND SOMEONE SEND MY HUSBAND HOME!!!!!
ReplyDeleteShirley....take the necklace and run~ She wouldn't have offered if she didn't mean it~
ReplyDeleteSacBarb~ lol@ the 85 yr old saying "up in age!" that really cracked me up!~
mek~ prayers for mr mek~
Mo~ stop being sick, will ya?~
Bebbi~ Eunice couldn't shower...the lights were off!~ :D
Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteI am finally on the computer!
MEK, my thoughts and best wishes with MR. MEK today :)
Tina congrats on 1st!!
Carol, my grandma comes to mind when I read your blog. She read EVERY sign, too. One time we were driving to Tahoe and I finally asked her to stop reading each sigh along the way out loud.
She would also start singing the Willie Nelson song "On The Road Again" whenever we would get back in car from stopping to use the bathroom or to eat.
We listened to that all the way to San Diego and back lol.
My dad is not fun to drive with either. Everyone is an ASSHOLE who speeds or drives slow!
Hope everyone is having a nice day so far!
oooh 66
ReplyDeleteyipee!
ReplyDeleteBebbi, I think I choose those lines at the store, too. :(
ReplyDeleteJodi and Sacbarb, I always say, "Any particular SHADE of green you're waiting on?"
Mary, LOL @ Mr. Mary! He and my Dad could hold up blocks of traffic.
Sacbarb, is the painting the last thing to be done??
Tinka, thank you, I will remember to be thankful when I'm doing that nine-hour drive. ((hugs))
Tina, so sorry about your son's finger! No lacrosse for 3-4 weeks?? Our season ends in about four weeks.
EBJ, I'm laughing at singing "On the Road Again!" LOL!!
MEK, don't forget to let us know how Mr. MEK is doing~
Morning Hooters~
ReplyDeleteCarol...funny blog.
As you all know I went back to Chicago for the holidays this year. I stayed with my Mom and did not rent a car (note to self: If I ever go back RENT A CAR!!!!)
Now mind you I am going to be 47 shortly (ow that hurt) but I still had to be reminded every time we went somewhere to turn on my signal, be careful of the ice, watch that right hand turn lane, go straight?? ( let's just say that I never go straight, forward maybe but straight never, even when giving directions right Tina?) when that comment comes out it always lightens the tension in the car. I told her Mom why don't you just drive then? Fact is I think it is getting harder for her and she loved having someone to drive her around.
Way to go ya HO on 1st.
Jodi: Glad the teenage terror is on the mend.
MEK: Best wishes or Mr. MEK.
Aloha to all the other Hooters~
That should have said...
ReplyDeleteBest wishes FOR Mr. MEK.
Yes I did graduate from High School and with good grades...lol.
Tina:
Where in the finger is the break? Tell me it's not in the knuckle.
Happy Monday Afternoon...
ReplyDeletewe are home - (made it in time for Ellen - LOL)...
Mr. MEK is upstairs resting - everything went very well...
Thank you to Joey, Jodi, IBB, Goldie, lynn D, Sandie, Scirish, Tinka, Mary, SacBarb, Tina, EBJ, Zona, and K'Girl..... for all the thoughts and prayers!!
Apreciate it more than you will EVER know!!
Hope everyone is having an excellent day so far...
I am enjoying that everyone seems to have the same "car conversations"...
ReplyDeleteAnother "fun" thing my mom does - whenever she sees that same kind of car that my sister drives - she will say - "There's a Susan car - but it's not the same color, you know they are not going to make that car anymore, i wonder what people will buy now........."
and it just goes on and on..
She NEVER does that when she sees what I drive - or Mr. MEK - just my sister... (thank goodness!!!)..
AND - she also will lock herself "IN" the car - she'll try to open the door just as you are shutting off the car - and then SCREAM at you that she 'can't get out' - WELL - all you have to do is UNLOCK the door!!!
goodness...........
AND - I find myself talking to slow drivers - and the tailgaters -
AND - like, Lynn D said - you can NOT honk or flip them off or you will get shot!!!
K'girl - I actually read your first comment as FOR...... guess the mind just told me what you meant!!
ReplyDelete:-)
Tina - hope your son heals quickly - I am sure he is not happy about not being able to play..
ReplyDeleteBUT - did you have fun at the expo - I'm sure you did!!!
:-)
Goldie - HOW IS THE HEAD TODAY??!!
ReplyDeleteSandie - LOL at your mom - mine will email and re'hash the news, a program that she knows we BOTH just got finished watching - tell you ALL about people's lives that you don't even know - and about all their children, etc. - she'll get all stressed about THEIR shit - and I will say - NOT YOUR PROBLEM
ReplyDeleteYOU don't have to worry about it..
but - YES, I do love her dearly!!
and you are correct - we are NOT complaining, just venting ... it's just nice to know that others are going thru the same things...
OH - and my mother is the one that REALLY counts roadkill - so, it's a joke now!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's just so much fun to be in the car THAT long!!!
LMAO!!!!
Tina - sorry to tell ya, Spring IS here....... heck, it should still snow for you thru Easter!!
ReplyDelete:-(
we are even having "cool" temps - high isn't expected to be 70..
SacBarb - hope the painter showed up..
ReplyDeleteEBJ - I must admit this - I - on occasion - have been known to start the "On The Road Again" tune during a long road trip!!!
okay - that is enough from me for awhile..
ReplyDeleteDWTS is on tonight...
and Medium is new!!!
bbl.............
Afternoon Owls!
ReplyDeleteI have been very entertained reading everyones posts today! LOL
I learn something new everyday....like 85 evidently is not in the upper age bracket! LOL
I have racked my brain to figure out if I have ever had an interesting car conversation with my Dad and it finally hit me that Duh NO! My Dad does not talk! You have to pry sentences out of him. Most answers are Yes No or I guess! LOL He will however sing to anything on the radio.
Mr. Lynn D's Dad we did not talk to while driving because he had a little problem with staying on the freaking road! He would talk at us about that great garage or about Mrs. Smith now being a widow and gosh do you see that boat in the driveway and the next thing you know the car would be headed for the ditch or over the centerline! I have not thought about that in ages. I was always a wreck when we rode with him.
Tina,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on First! yay for you..
I skimmed the comments, and everyone is cracking me up. I forgot who wrote, that someone is getting up there in age at 85.. LOL..
ReplyDeleteMek,
So sorry I missed giving Mr Mek well wishes, but it seems all went well, so that is good news..
Tina,
Sorry about your son.. Can he play the playstation or xbox (forgot which one) with his other fingers?? and your dad ranting, same here.. Oh, and for a broken pinky, they have it wrapped up to his elbow? Geez, that seems like a long way up..
Lynnd,
Oh how I wish my dad did not talk in the car, he will talk the whole ride, and go from one convo to the next. I just say yes to everything it is much easier then actually listening..
Mek,
Your mom counting roadkill.. lol
Sandie..Joey
Area 51, same avatar, cracked me up.. LOL
Just checked the comments, it was Sacbarb, that wrote up there in age.. LOL..
Bebbi,
I always get in the slow lanes at stores as well, it seems they always find me..
Scirish,
I get the politican talk all the time, actually daily, my parents are obsessed..
MEK, yes the painter is here and so is the hunky cabinet guy. He had one more little thing to do. But I will see him again because I have decided I want a door on the open shelves, so it is ordered and he will come back to install. By then, maybe I will think of something else.
ReplyDeleteMEK-2, I'm glad the Mr. is doing well.
Sandie, After the kitchen is painted, I only have to get a light fixture for over the table. I had a fan/light there, but I an changing it to just a light.
Tinka,
ReplyDeleteI gotta tell ya, I am not sure where I come with blogs sometimes. There are days I stare at a blank screen, and other days where the words just flow, I am thankful that everyone helps, as I could not do a blog daily...
Hi Sacbarb, you flew in as I was typing..
ReplyDeleteJoey,
ReplyDeleteI so agree, Tina def as ESP..
I am at work, need to finish up, I will check back when I get home..
ReplyDeleteSee ya later..
:O)
cpgem - worse than counting the roadkill is trying to figure out WHAT it was..
ReplyDeleteOh, I forgot to mention, the pic I posted with the blog.. so funny.. LMAO when I saw it..
ReplyDeletesacbarb - glad that the painter showed up AND the hunky cabinet guy..
ReplyDeletecpgem - yes - everything did go well...
ReplyDeleteMek,
ReplyDelete96?
99
ReplyDelete99
ReplyDelete100
ReplyDeleteTina, sorry about Mr. Tina Jr. breaking a finger. I know how miserable they are when they can't play their video games. But will he be able to do homework?
ReplyDeletecpgem - guess i'll have to march all by myself..
ReplyDeleteMek,
ReplyDeleteNope no need to, I took care of it.. and it was for Mr Mek..
:O)
LMAO - cpgem - congrats on 100!!
ReplyDeleteI took ONE bite of ice cream and missed it......
Yes Carol, it was my Uncle who apparently doesn't consider himself 'up in age' at 85.
ReplyDeletethat's right - the march ended before I even got my boots on!!
ReplyDeleteLOL
Mek,
ReplyDeleteYou taught me to never let food get in the way when marching.. So I took your lesson and marched with it.
:O)
we had a lady in the waiting room today - that felt the need to let us ALL know about HER life!!
ReplyDeletegoodness....... didn't get much read..
Sacbarb..
ReplyDeleteso funny.. That is like when my dad says his sister is only 86?
ONLY!!!
:O)
I just had this vision of us still marching and blogging and saying we're "only" 86!! Can you imagine? Of course by then we'll all have virtual images of ourselves and be in the same room talking.
ReplyDeleteI don't really know what I'm talking about .....
CAROL...don't know if you meant your blog to be funny, but I was laughing my ass off!
ReplyDeleteMy mom would use the imaginary brake pedal on the passenger side as she would grab the dashboard and make a ginormous sigh! Often it scared the shit outta me and I would actually jam on the brake!!
When she drove, she would be at the red light and say "turn green you son of a bitch"!!
She also didn't like to turn left...she would go a block further, then make a series of right turns so she could just go straight across the intersection to her original destination!!
Geeze, I miss her ;)
TINA...gratz on first! Sorry the boy broke his finger. That sux. Hope it heals fully and quickly.
ReplyDeleteMEK...glad everything went well with Mr. MEK...and I hope it continues well.
LYNN...If I can get rid of my belly by coughing, I will skip the cough med!!
SHIRLEY...I agree...accept the necklace graciously. Remember, it will make your friend feel good, too. Don't deny her of that feeling. {{hugs}}
HI Everybody, Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteTink: Your welcome! Glad I helped you not feel like you were the only one here for a moment. I had to go back to work, was only home for lunch or I would have checked back in.
The 2nd installment of the traveling necklace at Bebbi's is on MS.
Thank you Jodi, Lynn D, Scirish, Tina and Maureen for your imput on the pearls. I appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like mum will be coming home on Wednesday. She has told her cancer doctor that she doesn't want anymore radiation treatments. So for now she will have to manage the pain with morphine. When it gets worse she will have to be sedated and then she nay go into a coma.
I hope it doesn't come down to her being on machines and we have to decide when to turn them off.
Sorry. Today's blog was very funny Carol and you guys all had funny stories to tell and here I am talking about this stuff. I guess it's time I went to bed, Good night everyone and thanks again.
Good afternoon/evening everyone
ReplyDeleteMy parents are no longer alive, but I have a couple of stories from when I was little.
My father used to get annoyed with drivers and he would call them jackasses. I guess I was about 3 yrs old and one day when we were in the car I started pointing out the window saying jackass at the other drivers. Needless to say that ended name calling from my dad.
In the old days we didn't have seat belts, so my mother's arm was my seat belt. When we came to a stop her arm swung over across my waist.
My 2 most annoying slow driver stories: Driving to the Santa Cruz mountains I was behind a truckload of porta potties. It was miles before I had a chance to pass him. Another time on the same road I was behind a gaggle of bicyclists. Could they ride in single file....oh no, they were 10 across!
Of course I left out all of the times I was an idiot on the road. :)
Shirley: I would have given you the same advice everyone else did. I just know you had a lot of responses from everyone and you really don't need mine. I am thinking of you and your mom. You need to come in here and tell us what is going on because I worry and I think everyone else does too.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your troubles right now. Also, I hope that your Mom's pain can be managed so she is not suffering too much. :(
Hugs!
EUNICE- Your hair will be absolutely stunning when those curlers come out. I wish your son's finger a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteMEK - I am glad today's procedure went well.
To all with the the crud - Be careful, as this bug seems to like to make an encore appearance.
BARB - Your hunk's tool box is still at my place. ;)
Here's to a restful night and great health.xoxoxo
SHIRLEY - Always share the good times AND the difficult times. (((HUGS)))
ReplyDeleteI can't hold this in any longer...
ReplyDeleteI CAN'T STAND DENISE RICHARDSON and I hope she gets voted off
end of rant!
Tina, sorry to hear about your boy's finger :( That isn't fun when you are an active kid.
ReplyDeleteMEK glad MR. MEK is home and all went well!
MO, I agree with you about Denise R. Ever since I saw the picture of her on the beach with her legs spread and her labia hanging out of her bathing suit, I just don't like her LOL.
I mean, don't you KNOW if your labia are hanging out??? haha
Poe is having a fit because MR. EBJ isn't home yet. He is yelling MR. EBJs name and saying GET OVER HERE. Funny!
I swear that bird can tell time, he knows exactly when MR. EBJ is supposed to get home and will start calling his name right at 4:15.
OK time for DWTS!
He had to go somewhere after work, so Poe is very unhappy that his daddy is not home.
Just flying in to say g'nite, I wanted to come back, but I got involved in TV....
ReplyDeleteI am sleepy...
see ya all tomorrow...
Oh, I posted a pic of Bebbi with the traveling necklace on, on the main page of the blog.. she has other pics and vids on her myspace.. She is really keeping the traveling necklace very busy, the necklace is even getting some
exercise in true Bebbi fashion..

ReplyDeleteIt's been a long day..but a good day..
ReplyDeleteCPGEM: I remember driving my mom places...she used to say things that made me laugh so hard I couldn't breath..or see. I had to tell her to shush. One thing she never, ever was..was a backseat driver. In fact she always praised my driving..hmmmm.. lol.
Quiet, shy, mild-mannered Mr. Z becomes a totally different person when he drives and people drive too slow or cut him off. His fave word for them is one that TINA once told me was 'just nasty' so I won't write it here. Like I would be brave enough to anyway..LOL LOL!!
I love the way you wrote about your parent's conversation..I kinda felt like I was right there. And I didn't smell a thing. ;)
Thanks for the funny blog today..or I guess, for me, tonight..CPGEM!! :)
TINA: Congrats on FIRST! I just noticed EUNICE's fashion sense...her rollers match her housecoat!
ReplyDeleteJODI: ♥ !!! :)
MO: Oh no..I've learned another symbol! Watch out! ;)
JOEY: So funny...you have to be mighty quick on weekdays! ;)
LYNND: OMG...I've heard one of the phrases in your list used by Mr. Z...lol..not sayin' which one though!
MEK: Ummm..I have trouble with the door locks too..I haven't got that synchronization down yet.. ;)
TINA: So sorry to hear about your son breaking his finger. I betcha though..by the weekend..he's got an alternate way of playing XBOX without using that finger! Five bucks.. ;)
ReplyDeleteIBB: Love the bumper sticker..and yes, I DO know what it means!! ;)
GOLDIE: "Hang on Mom.." lol
MO: I hope you feel better fast! :) :)
MEK: I'm so glad that Mr. MEK came through with flying colors! :)
TINKA: Congrats on 50..I am so glad you got to spend time with your family..maybe tomorrow?? Love you!
ReplyDeleteBEBBI: When we go to the store, we always seem to pick the slow, we need the manager lane too! If we move..that one becomes the slow lane!!
SACBARB: I'm with MARY..only I'd love a real tour of your kitchen..and maybe some spaghetti! Could you invite the cabinet guy? ;)
EBJ: My dad read every sign too..he said it helped him stay awake. Since he was the one driving..well..we didn't complain. ;)
KGRL: 47 doesn't hurt..50 does! jus' sayin'.. ;)
BEBBI: Your video was great!
ReplyDeleteLANI: My dad's arm was our seatbelt too! Thank you for that memory!
SANDIE: LOL at your dad's observation!
MARY: Maybe Mr. MARY just enjoys the scenery?? ;)
SHIRLEY: My heart just breaks for you, your mom and your family...{{{HUGS}}}
ReplyDeleteGood Night Everyone...sweet dreams.
ReplyDeleteZONA - You're welcome. :)
ReplyDeleteOne of the most embarrassing things I did while driving......On the freeway at night and saw the cars in front of me stopped and then realized it was an accident. I freaked as I almost plowed into them, and as I Freaked I grabbed the wheel real hard and hit the horn by accident. Did I feel like a a fool.
I'll just wait, I'm sure you will show up eventually! Lol! In the meantime I am last!!
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting, too. LOL
ReplyDeleteDidn't I step on you on one of the other blogs?
ReplyDeleteLast!
