It only is, when there is Clutter

Not much to write, lots of thoughts rolling around, however they won't form words. When the words won't form, I never force, I let it be. Maybe its all the work I have done this week, and the long hours I put in at my office. Not sure if that is really it tho, but it is the explanation I have at the moment.

If someone does not count in my mind, I don't let them clutter it. I release them as soon as my mind can register them. What my life brings me, is what I decide I want, its my life, my decision. No need for me to keep the clutter, it just makes a mess of everything. I see all, I get it, I am here daily, writing, monitoring, chatting, laughing, the clutter means nothing, I see it.

What words have formed is my way of blogging, its a thought process, like a writer, when the writer is thinking what he/she is writing, and it all forms into words. In these words, there are clues, in everyone's words there are clues, I see it.

Its Saturday, I am officially off, I will be out and about all day, my mind will be at ease. Looking and laughing among the people who enjoy life and not clutter.

Today, the first thing I will do is get my x-large "cawfee" and think of all of you....

Enjoy your day, Clutter free!

  39. Hi Birdee! Congrats on first! By the way, you're right--I've never seen chickenowl boobs. :)

Hi LynnD! Want some more of that creamer this morning? I'll just pass on over.

Hi Shirley!! How nice to see you this morning! Ummm, you forgot my protein shake. I guess it's all that tax clutter in your head! Really, I'm so happy to see you!!! You always make me laugh.

Clutter is where I'm at. In my mind and in my house....let's just say it is VERY lived in!!!

Thanks for the laughs this morning HOoters!! I'm off and running now....Solo and Ensemble Contest and WYSO. A couple of you have heard Sam's solo. I think she is totally gonna rock it!!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. WOW! 86 comments already?? Good morning Hooters and congrats on #1 Birdee.

Shirley, I'm glad you are trying to melt the snow of Birdee's back.

    Daylight savings starts tonight. Yippee!

Clutter? As I progress through the peri-menapausal state I find that I lose things in my mind all the time. The clutter seems to disappear. Not sure that is a good thing......

I don't have a lot of clutter in my house. Littel spots of it. But with only 2 people how much shit can you have or need? I have been on a 'give it away' kick lately. Good will and Easter Seals has done well. Mr. Goldie groans that we could have made a fortune by now selling the stuff! LOL

Hope everyone has a great day.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Good morning GOLDIE & MEK!!!

  50. MR. EBJ and I slept in late today, it was so nice.

Poe usually will wake us up because he wants to be let out of his cage, but he was a good boy and didn't say anything.

Over the years, I have gotten good at pushing mind clutter out. I can't function if it's there, I am a worrier and it causes me to lose sleep.

Hi to Lynn, Mo, Sandie, Goldie, MEK, and Jodi!

Sandie, how many of us are in on the necklace event?

    MO, "weatherskank" made me LOL!!

OK gonna finish my cawfee, I will be back!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Birdeeeeeeeeee Love seeing you at 1st today, even with all that snow you keep dropping everywhere.

Shirley, Shirley, Bo Birley, Banana Fana Fo Firley..... Congrats on #25. Don't forget to mark that down.

Carol So do you put White-out in your cawfee instead of creamer? I guess it would save on calories. :) Little by little, I am trying to de-clutter around here. I've lived in this house since '71 and I have accumulated too much stuff then my second husband brought a bunch of his stuff and added it to the mix. Yikes!

    Mo Congrats on #69.

EBJ Congrats no #100 and on being able to sleep in a bit today. :)

VIG I'm VERY excited for you. (((HUGS)))

    ReplyDelete
  52. Jodi Good luck to Sam! I heard she is great! I bet she will rock it. :)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Is everyone busy clearing their brains and homes of clutter?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hi everybody, happy Saturday!

    Congrats on first Birdee

    ReplyDelete
  55. Shirley, Thanks for the slimfast and ...when was there a preference for being "ladylike" around here??? haha.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Jodi- How did Sam's Solo go and why haven't I heard it??? :(

Chillin at home now. Did a little shopping :) and got some GREAT stuff for the grandbabies. 4 at 1.99 for shirts? Crazy. Also got them their own super soft fleece blankets to keep here (for their porta-cribs) and a shirt for myself and socks for both and shoes for Brynn and a Sears reusable bag all for-- all for 29.97!!!

Mr. Goldie says I have to stop now. He says there is a point of too much and that perhaps I am making their parents feel like I am going overboard (I said that is not possible with grandchildren). HOWEVER, when I look at the stash of stuff I have for them - it is a bit much) Ok, I also was told that I CAN NOT buy them Dora and Cars bikes (with training wheels) because maybe their daddy would like to buy their first bikes. Damn, it is soooooooooo much more fun to be a grandma than it ever was to be a Mom.

It was 60 here on Thursday- upper 50's and sunny yesterday and tomorrow we have a winter storm watch. Welcome to WI!!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. CAROL - So many thoughts swirling around in my head after reading your blog. I am pondering the literal and figurative clutter. I think answers coming to mind will be on the agenda today. THANK YOU.

    And....loved your lrg cawffee cup.

    Good afternoon to everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  58. GOLDIE - First things first, Sam got a starred first on her viola solo. That means that she's going on to the state competition!!! I am beyond excited and so very proud of her!!! :O) Next Saturday is her next WYSO concert. She has worked really hard for it. She is first chair and viola section leader. I have a ticket with your name on it if you are available to go. For those of you that are not in the area, God willing, I will be videotaping the concert and hopefully be successful in uploading all or part of her concert!!!

I hope everyone has a good Saturday night!!

    ReplyDelete
  73. JODI- I AM SO THERE!!! Just tell me when and where and I will be there. Congrats SAM!!!!!!!!! I am so proud (and she isn't even mine!)

I am calling you right now!!

    ReplyDelete
  74. I just got the chills, how excited is Goldie for Jodi..

The friendships here are so very amazing..

    Kudos to you both!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  75. I just talked to Jodi- I have a ticket and I am going!!!
    Wahoo Sam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Yes Carol, the friendships are real and special!

    ReplyDelete
  76. I'm trying to do some major house cleaning so I'm going to pop everytime I get something accomplished.

Zona- My high school years were good. I was a band geek and I formed a lot of fun relationships. I felt very comfortable with the group of kids I hung around which was good. My junior high years were completely awful. My parents were overprotective and strict. So I didn't get into too much trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  77. JODI & SAM - What wonderful news. Congratulations, and I am not surprised. I think of all of the possibilities in your life with your music. xoxoxo Lani

    ReplyDelete
  78. Jodi: Congrats to Sam for making first chair and going to state!! I bet you are proud!! My oldest son was in the band but he was never 1st or 2nd chair. WTG SAM!!

Goldie: Too fun, lucky you to go and see Jodi and all. I am envious of the fun you are having with the grandchildren too! My sister is a grandma two times now as of last week! She is going to see her first GRANDSON in Sacramento on March 16th and of course see her grandaughter too (she is two).

I am totally a "grandma wannabe"!

Carol: Thanks for the congrats on the car. I am so excited. Mr. Bebbi ran over my foot today scootering around. He about gave my mom a heart attack! She can't take too much of Mr. Bebbi without getting a little anxious. He's quite a handful (in more ways than one *wink*).

    ReplyDelete
  79. ITEACH - When you're done you can come and do mine!!! :P

CAROL - Yes, she is an AMAZING friend!!!

LANI & BEBBI - Thanks....I'm still grinning. So proud!!!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Beebi- thanks. I gotta tell you that I never really thought about being a Grandma until it happened, and it is the BEST thing ever. Who knew you could actually like (love) little people better then you ever did your own kids? Well, it happens. I would love 10 more, but not likely to happen, so happy with the 2 I have.

I hope you get to experience it someday!

    ReplyDelete
  81. CAROL - I sent you a snippet of Sam's solo to your cell.....did you get it?

    ReplyDelete
  82. JODI_ my email didn't come thru. A bunch of jibberish words- no sound :(

    ReplyDelete
  83. GOLDIE - I uploaded the video on ms...and it actually worked!!!

    ReplyDelete
  84. DAMN....just realized that I have to "spring" ahead tonight, so I best get my ass in bed.

    GOOD NIGHT HOoters!!!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Jodi- Just watched it- BRAVO SAM!!!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Carol, thanks for the blog today! Your flip videos always put a smile on my face. :)

    ReplyDelete
  87. Jodi: Jeez! Thanks for saying that about springing ahead because it reminded me to remind my mother who works tomorrow at Sams! So, if not for you, my Mom would have been late for work and she would have been totally stressed out. I thank you and, unknowingly, my mother thanks you.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Goldie: What you just said is exactly what I have heard from several of my friends and family who are grandma's now. I hope I get to experience it too.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Birdie-Congrats on first!

Shirley- Thank you so much for the food today. I loved watching you play!

    ReplyDelete
  90. I'm so exhausted but wanted to stop in and answer whoever asked how many people we have so far in the necklace share (I'm sorry but I'm honestly too tired to look--I think it was EBJ?). We have 10 right now.

    Jodi, your daughter was great!

    Goodnight owls!

    ReplyDelete
  91. Ahhh, decluttering! Speaking of which, Ross is shutting down his NBC chat room, so we're having a "farewell to Rosschat" night tonight... big blowout party!

If any of you owls are nostalgic for the days of Rosschat, c'mon in and say goodbye tonight!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Whabby,

Wow, why is he shutting it down? What are the rosschatters going to do? I know how close some of you are. I guess Ross is just ready 2 move on. Can't you guys make your own chat room? Maybe it is for the better, as if you do make you own, you will not have to deal with trolls and such, as you can keep the link to it private..

I checked out his "Inside Dish" some of them were funny. I really wish him good luck in his new adventure.. I still am grateful for that blog, as this nest would have not been created.. However I am more grateful that he is not into being tedious, cause that sure worked out well..

And thanks for the invite, I don't love chat rooms, way to fast, and ya never know who is wandering about..

Just as the nest worked out for us, I am certain, you guys can find a place as well...

    ReplyDelete
  93. Whabbear, Where is the goodbye happening? I don't see any current posts on ross's blog.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Bebbi,
It seems its happening in the original chatroom, so I would say if you want to pop in go there..

    ReplyDelete
  97. I meant I wonder where they will end up meeting, do you know, Whabby? Ha..I never finish my...

    ReplyDelete
  98. uh oh..i feel a run to 169 coming over me.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Goldie- My parents asked me if they could buy each grandkid their first bike and I say "oh, yes".

I personally don't mind at all when the grandparents bring the kids surprises. :)

    ReplyDelete
  102. Bebbi,
You stepped on me, but I am strong, so I am not hurt..

    Congrats on 169..
