~ Into the Night ~

by Tina~in_ut

I don't know what it is about Santana, but I love whatever he's involved with. This song makes me move. For me it's happy. I don't even think I've ever listened to the words......it's the rhythm for me. I hope you enjoy it~

  5. Carol, crack me up! I managed not to crap on those crazy driver's...I also refrained from giving dirty look's and the finger!!! I was only a "little" mean...LOL

glad you had a good time at dinner..xoxoxo♥

  16. BIRDEEEEEE...grats on 1 thru 26!! I'm glad you are feeling better and sure do seem to have a llot of energy! Glad you do, because I sure don't! Hope your day is another good one! What r u gonna do with your $100??

JENNIFER...omg, that was horrible. I understand about mainstreaming kids with disabilities, but when it turns a whole classroom into a room for 1 and becomes a detriment for the other 25 students, something is wrong with that picture. And to expose a room of 25 kids to that kind of behavior can't be productive to them...or you. I'm sorry you had to go thru all of that. I hope he is getting the help he so desperatly needs. {{hugs} to you.

TINKA...glad you are back in the nest. We miss you when you are away.

CAROL...Your evening sounded delishious! Have fun at the salon today!!

I am still feeling crappy. So typical for me. Finally get some time off and can't enjoy it. Oh well.

    bbl...

  18. Jennifer- I am so sorry that you had to deal with that situation, I am sorry for your students and sorry for that little boy. I hope he gets the real help he needs now and that you and your class can heal.

Excuse me Shirley- you don't mark down 75 anymore??? Well isn't that just dandy, I finally am on at night and no one will ever remember......lol

  19. Good morning everyone!

Thanks everyone for the support, I'm still feeling numb from it all.

BTW, Mandie, I think you need to put more clothes on.

  20. How about a crazy story???

A few weeks ago our lawn guy asked about a tree that needs to come down. Said he would give us a really good price and would also do all the bushes (trim and shape) for free- and would cut up the wood from the tree and stack it for us to keep. I told him that I would ask Mr. Goldie if he was interested.

Last week when I paid the bill i wrote on it that yes, Mr. Goldie was interested in talking about it.

Well, we were gone all day yesterday and when we got home I was unloading stuff from the camper and Mr. Goldie says very calmly- 'Come here- what do you see?' I go around the side of the house and look and am confused. I said what am I look for? Then I see it- NO TREE. OMG they cut down the tree!!!! The wood was stacked on the side of the house and the bushes (this tree was on a berm in the backyard by the deck) where all trimmed to within an inch of their lives!!!

We never told them to go ahead and do it! So it will be interesting to see what the 'good price' will be!

Mr. Goldie said he's all right with it because he was going to have it taken down anyway but honestly I am flabbergasted by them just doing it on their own!!

  21. Morning Glories!

Birdee is back and she got first!!! Congrats!

Tina I love Santan too! His music is wonderful and yes it is definately music to move to.

Just read area 51 Jennifer I am so sorry that you and your class had to go through that. I agree with J/L it sounds like the child needs to be hospitalized to me. I totally understand how you would feel traumatized. (((Hugs)))

I just crawled out of bed too with self induced sickness (hangover), went to a birthday party last night. Woozy tummy this morning.

Mo I hope you kick your icky's soon!

    Morning goldie, Jennifer and Mandie!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Good Morning Lynn - You will feel better by noon I hear. I don't drink anything anymore because of all the pills I take but I remember the good old days.

  29. Got it Shirley? Have a great day.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Birdee - Congrats on 10 and 25. Must get going here.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Morning Tinka!

Goldie I had to laugh. At least they stacked it neatly and it is the right time of year to prune the trees. So by spring hopefully they will recover and really go crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Birdee I hope you are able to keep your good mood going today. You look mah-vel-ous!

Mandie Welcome. Now I keep humming the Barry Manilow song. LOL

MO So sorry you still feel bad. At least you are able to rest and maybe that's what you really need.

Goldie My gardener is hispanic and we sometimes have a bit of trouble communicating. (He calls hummingbirds "bloomingbirds".) I'd be afraid to write instructions to him.

Tinka I hope you have a great day.

LynnD Should we all whisper today? LOL

Tina Great choice today! Sure does liven up a quiet Sunday morning. I still love Santana's "Smooth". He sure did well for a young kid who used to play in skanky Tijuana bars. What a talent he is!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Birdeeeee! Congrats on 1st! I have missed your fur ball :)

I am feeling what I call "the change of seasons blahs". It makes no difference how many vitamins I take or how much I try to think positive thoughts, I still feel like a bear preparing to hibernate!
It dos help a little thatI have been super busy with my kitchen contractor and choosing everything to go into it. In between I have been trying to get my VFW tres. duties done, visit my SIL in the Hosp. and keeping my house in shape! Tomorrow I have a funeral visitation (schoolmate's father), and I have to prepare the area where my contractor is making my new pantry. He will be here Tuesday morning 8:00. You know I am NOT a morning girl! lol! Oh well, it has to be done, and he is cute :) Even with all that activity I still want to curl up and sleep the winter away lol!

I have a roast in the oven with our garden potatoes, onions and carrots. Come on over everyone, 'cept for Tina, cuz she is on the beach hopefully burning her toes!! (the bi-otch sent me a pic of her toes-on-the-beach!)

  34. OOPS I forgot my butt was still out there lol!
I like my little ghost better. Don't forget to put candy in his bag!

  35. TINA: I've never heard this song before..but I really like it. In fact, I don't think there's a Santana song I don't like. My favorite has always been "Oye Como Va".

I like the way the singer from Nickelback sounds on this song too..great choice today TINA..thank you.

BIRDEE: Congrats on FIRST cute and fuzzy one! I haven't seen either of the two imposters lately..but I'm watching for them. There couldn't be two of you BIRDEE..you are the one..the only..the best.. :)

    MO: I am so sorry you still aren't feeling well..I was hoping it was a one day thing..dang. I sure do hope you feel better soon. I'll send you some warm AZ sunshine..see if that helps a little.. {{hugs}}

JENNIFER: I was stunned to read about your student..I don't know why they would put a child that was violent into your class..very scary. I hope now he gets the help he needs..and that you and your class are able to relax and enjoy the rest of the school year.

GLODIE: I would be annoyed if I hadn't actually said "Go ahead.." I hope you get a really, really good price..you could always mess with him and say.."No, I don't think I like that price..put it back.." just for fun.. ;)

TINKA: I got up and let Nikki out..went to let her in ten minutes later and she was covered head to toe in grass. The grass is starting to die here..so she was a mess. I had been awake about 15m and was already giving the dog a bath...sheesh..I hadn't even had my caffeine yet..lol..

J/LIN: It's 96 here right now..I think you live just about in heaven being only a mile from the beach..

MARY: Come to AZ..we don't have winter..oh and bring the roast.. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  36. MARY: LOL@ your pumpkin butt..we bought seven bags of candy for Halloween..the big ones from CostCo..and we'll end up giving it all out..we have A LOT of trick or treaters..I'm going to put a few Reeses in your ghost's bag now..would you like m&ms..crunch bars..and kit kats too? :D

    ReplyDelete
  37. MARY: I also have milky ways..snickers and almond joys.. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  38. a virtual orgy of chocolate.. :D

    ReplyDelete
  39. YAY! SHIRLEY..mark that one down.. it's been a while... ;)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Zona, wait! I'll get a bigger bag lol!!
bbl, have to serve up the roast....

    ReplyDelete
  41. Geez, Zona! I haven't gone trick or treating in decades but I just might have to change that and knock on your door Halloween night.

Mary Dinner sounds delicious! I bet you're a great cook. I've settled on making tamale pie tonight.

  42. ****QOTD****

It looks like Carol didn't have a chance to change the QOTD but it was supposed to be this line from Birdee:

I should of had a bumper sticker on my car that said..."Not In The Mood Today...Back OFF!!!"

    Shirley Please mark that down.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Just Lin this is what I sent Carol for QOTD:

...so when the last big ass
SUV tried to slip ahead of me, I just said....Oh! Hell NO!! and pulled my car up to keep his ass out!
I should of had a bumper sticker on my car that said..."Not In The Mood Today...Back OFF!!!"

  46. LYNND: How are you feeling this afternoon..ready to do some beboppin' to Santana yet? ;)

J/LIN: C'mon over..there's plenty..it might even be cool outside by then so it won't all melt.. :)

    SHIRLEY: Got gloves? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  47. Sorry you're sick Maureen. I hope it wasn't because of my pig cake with the bacon flavored frosting I made for your birthday. The bacon grease I used was fresh...I think. Hope you feel better tomorrow. (((((HUGS)))))

  49. Good Sunday afternoon to all you little owls. I have been out of town for a couple of days and did try to post on my phone..if you could even read it.

I just came from a two hour gift certificate massage and I am whipped. I have a feeling I might have dozed off a time or two. I get a gentle massage..felt so good.

JENNIFER: I am glad the student was taken out of your class and hopefully, given some much needed help. I feel bad for you and your other students but I am sure you will be just the teacher to get them back on track again.

MO; I am so sorry you are still feeling bad. I also had hoped it would just be the one day. Dang, on your bday too. I have a "strong" feeling it could have been that bacon grease cake from SHIRLEY. Maybe you might think of getting a lawyer. j/s

BIRDEE: I am so glad to see you in the nest and flying from branch to branch. I will agree and second it that the best way to smile and not think of any depressing things is to spend time with the grandchildren. I think it is the best medicine in the world and have taken it many times. Your granddaughter sounds like a lot of fun.

ZONA: I didn't see Milk Duds anywhere on that list of candy. Have you already forgotten my favorite or are you mad at me just because the Raiders are doing so poorly and the Bronocos are doing so great? BTW, have I mentioned to you and the others that they are 5-0? We don't play until Monday night so at least you all have something to watch on TV tomorrow night. :)

MANDIE: Welcome and glad to see you roll out of bed late too. I guess you are on the right blog of night owls.

TINK: Are you done going to the trout farm for the season? Please don't stay away even if things are bad...we are all here for each other. Now, about you telling LYNN you remember about hangovers..you should with your daughter ZONA. Remember how she does all those jello shots at our parties? You had better start talking to her now since we have a Halloween party coming up here in the nest soon.

MARY: That roast sounds yummy. I am already to eat something right now, especially if it was already cooked for me. You can't hibernate for winter as our winters are kind of long.

LYNN: Glad you had fun at the Birthday party. Just rest all day and have MR LYNN wait on you in between your naps.

SHIRLEY; I almost have my costume picked out. I was thinking of dressing like one of the people that go to the Lone Star with BEAR on Sunday. I wonder what I would wear to look the part? BEAR????

    ReplyDelete
  50. Dianne I'm not sure, but I think if you want to look the part of a Lone Star patron, you might want to glue some hair on your chest. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  51. DIANNE: RAIDERS WIN! WooHoo! I have to celebrate when I can.. ;)

    I didn't see any Milk Duds..but I did see some Whoppers.... :D

CAROL: Go. Relax. Put your feet up. You work your butt off every day..it's time to rest it now..treat yourself with some ice cream..and don't forget the cherry.. :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. Sorry ZONA, I am not into the Whoppers. If I remember correctly, that was LYNND that loved those Whoppers. I am a Milk Duds person. Who did the Raiders play? I was thinking it might have been our baseball team the Rockies? Ok-Ok, I'll give it to you..congratulations to you, SACBARB AND EBJ..ON YOUR RAIDERS!!

KGIRL AND TINA: Are you going to take a picture with the traveling necklace while you are together?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Happy Sunday!

Birdee good to see you, and congrats on 1st!

Tina~in~Hawaii~~~~ I LOVE Santana, love this song! Great pick for Sunday!!~~~~~~

Jennifer I am so sorry for your classroom trauma, hope the young guy gets the help he needs.

MO, hope you are feeling better...

Shirley, how about a little rub to his sack?

Dianne, I heard that for a good time at the Lone Star you should wear loose fitting overalls, with nothing on underneath!

Zona, MR. E loaded up on Halloween candy at Walmart. I asked him to hide it from me, as he buys the good stuff that I like.

JL I lol'd at "bloomingbird". That is so cute!

Lynn hope you're better by now. Hopefully you had a good time, and it was worth the hangover!

Tinka, good to see you again. I can't keep up with you all over on Face Book, with farming, hatching, farkeling (WTF is that???), bejeweling, etc.

Shirley, I know that you watch the AMAZING Race. Who do you like so far?

Goldie, I'm curious to find out what the gardener charges you, and if it's a "good deal" or not.

Hi to Mary and Carol! Hope you all had a nice Sunday!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Damn... no time to even read comments... hello all... fly by here... flying home tomorrow...regards to all!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. EBJ I like the young blonde couple. His hair is spikey in front. They wore blue shirts tonight. Who do you like?

    ReplyDelete
  56. Zona, you made me so hungry with the talk of all those candy bars.

I can't decide what to buy this year for Halloween candy. I think I put too much thought into it!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Shirley, I like the Globetrotters the best so far.

Jennifer, I like Snickers and Reeses peanut butter cups. I always tell MR. EBJ to buy the stuff I don't like, like Jr. Mints or something.

He does the buying and passing out of candy. I would just turn the light off and not answer the door, but he likes to see the kids and give out candy.

Have a safe flight home Bear!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I have finished farming for the night so I must get back to reality.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Zona - I bet Nikki smelled really pretty when you were finished bathing her. Did you put a ribbon in her hair?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Shirley - Thanks for the kind words. We will continue to go to the trout farm even when the weather is poor. It's my legs and not the weather that's keeping us from going every weekend. I love the sound of the rain on a metal roof.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Maureen - I hope you feel better tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  62. East Bay J - I am guilty of the other things but I don't farkle.

    ReplyDelete
  63. All this talk about candy is making me hungry.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Dianne - Sorry it was you who asked if we were still going to the trout farm. Check the answer I gave to Shirley. Yes I will watch my daughter closely at the Halloween party. Not that I don't trust you and bear but one never knows.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I have missed commenting to some owls but I am so tired, I am off to bed. If I missed you I didn't mean to. Love to all. Tinka

    ReplyDelete
  66. Tinka Rain on a metal roof! I'd be in heaven!

Bear Ditto on the safe flight home! Hope you had a nice time.

Shirley and EBJ I like the Globetrotters, too, but I think the interracial couple are my favorites. I was glad to see who got eliminated tonight. :)
