Yikes! Not in the best of moods, and its by turn to write a blog. If I write about what is in my head, this blog would be the worst blog ever written. The mean side of me would totally show, and to keep up my image of being the nicest person ever (lol) I will have to pass.

However.....I can say....

I am overworked, I am tired, I am angry, I am bloated, I need chocolate every minute of every day and my stash is gone and I don't have time to get to the store since I am working 12 hr days. To top it all off, its freezing here in NJ, the weather is awful.

In keeping with having a daily blog, this will have to do.

And on I go....

  1. Morning Glories!

You must all be in bed as you were up so late last night talking about sex.

Carol nice to see someone feels the same way I do right now. Feeling overwhelmed and eating like a fiend. Today will be no different. To much to do and so little time. Sending you (((Hugs))) and kisses. I know it doesn't help much but I can't get chocolate to you right away. :(

  2. I must go soap and shower my beauty this morning.

Hi Bebbi, glad I wasn't the only one having trouble!

    ReplyDelete
  9. But, LynnD was the lucky successful one today! Yay, and truly you are gorgeous!

Hello Mary and good morning all!

    ReplyDelete
  10. I like unblogger blogs too! And, I am certainly feeling the ho-hum and stress building up since all the festivities are done.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Whabby..woah..! haha. That's putting it very directly. I think she was trying not to let us see "that" side..haha. But, we all have it..I am sure. At least, I know, I DO!

I am more just tired and run down lately. Couldn't even make it all the way through Zumba last night without having a rest or two. BTW, never eat a handful of marshmellows before Belly Dancing and Zumba class..it is just NOT the way to go.

    ReplyDelete
  12. or is that marshmallows...spell check where are you?

    ReplyDelete
  13. does anyone have any chocolate to share?

  18. Good Morning Hooters!

Congrats on 1st pretty one Lynn!

Carol- boy I can relate to your blog! Especially now. AND- there is never enough chocolate!!

This upcoming inspection is driving me nuts. I am convinced that the morning of it the damn company is going to update something again and I will be out of compliance.

Since we sell securities we have to everything by the book (unlike Wall Street!)and the SEC rules. We have got a 15 page "heads up" list from the state compliance officer.

Wait, now that I think about it- you can keep the chocolate- bring on the booze!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. That felt good!

Forgot to say to Bebbi, Mary & Whab. Waving a wing at you.

Carol, I am waving chocolate at you- can you smell it? Does it help?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Morning Bebbi, Mary, Whabbear, Carol and Goldie!

Carol is there no one who you can hire to help you out? A temp agency or something? You aren't going to be any good to your clients if you end up in the hospital from exaustion. I understand how important your business is but you have to be healthy in order to run it. Please take care of yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  26. HA!!!~ i missed it~ :)~ I got to sleep in today....hey bonachichi....I have another class today at noon~

Carol~ I love when you blog like this....sorry to say....i'm feeling the exact opposite~ yikes~ The sun is finally out here~ It's a beautiful day~

I hope everyone gets "sun" soon~ (except for Bear with his nasty mouth and attitude!) And if you don't get sun.....i hope you get sex! (even if it's a do-it-yourself)...again....except for Bear...I have a feeling all of his is do-it-yourself!....ijs~ :)~

    ReplyDelete
  27. Awwww Tina you're a little late dear. Maybe you need somemore beauty sleep! ijs

    ReplyDelete
  28. There Shirley....I changed my outfit~

    ReplyDelete
  29. CAROL: You can say it..but I won't believe in a million years there is a mean side to you. So there! :)

LYNN: You better watch out..you're prettiest AND you're an M&M..js..makes you irresistible.. :D

    ReplyDelete
  31. shhhhh Shirley~ I think I'd get paid more where I am~ ijs~

    ReplyDelete
  33. hi er'bidee....

my goodness Shirley...you are certainly looking ...alert today...
you appear to be wound pretty tight.....

Carol.....I tried this chocolate yesterday...it is Lindt Petits Desserts....its a milk chocolate shell filled with a light chocolate mousse.....

I'd fedex ya some but it would melt...its very delicate....

the point is though...that I found it at WalMart....it is fantastic and it is inexpensive.....4.9 oz for 3.48 I think.....delicious!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. DeeDee: Don't you mean you would UPS her some? The carrier of choice at this nest is UPS..hehe ;)

We don't have a contract with "the other guys"..

    ReplyDelete
  35. UPS has an excellent air service and the delivery guys are just way hotter.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Oh, and if you take it to a UPS store..they can pack it for you so it wouldn't melt. :) Just trying to help...

    ReplyDelete
  37. DeeDee I haven't had any cawfee yet.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Happy Wednesday Owls.

Carol, I am so sorry you don't have any chocolate. Don't you have anyone who can make an emergency chocolate run for you? I think all states should have a 911 for chocolate like they do for when you run out of gas on the freeway.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Bebbi.....

Fred Smith is an old friend....I'm sure you understand...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Lynn, There you are, pretty at first again. I have to confess that I ate a BUNCH of your relatives yesterday. My oldest brought them to me on Mother's Day and I swore I wasn't going to eat them, but I am so weak!

Mary, You flew in just in time to leave again. Have fun at lunch.

Bebbi, I have to agree that UPS has the hottest delivery guys. The 'other guys' are usually grouchy too.

    Tina, LMAO @ your QOTD.

Zona, Stay cool and keep up the ppmint treatments.

Waving a wing also to Bear, Goldie, Shirley, Dee, and all the other Owls. Have a great Day everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  41. woa!!!! Chocolate will melt?!!! I'm so screwed! Actually...Carol, ur screwed!!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Oh..and the carrier of choice is Delta, of course. Although some of us have to "slum" it and take Southwest..haha.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Morning Owls....what I am doing up so early you ask....I am going to the 1:15 cheap movie to see Last Song. I never got to see it and keep hearing how good it is so I was going to go by myself. MRD has decided to go along. He is off between semesters and thinks we should be spending time together. He doesn't really want to see that movie and tried to get me to change movies. Not....I already planned to go and see this before it is gone so guess I will have company at the movies today.

We got our snow but it has already melted and we mostly got rain at our house. It is pretty cold out and gloomy though.

Congrats on first LYNN. You are making me hungry looking at you....I haven't had breakfast yet. I wonder what you eat for breakfast at my house since we usually don't see that side of morning around here?

I hope everyone has a good day. CAROL: I hope your day and life get better and back to normal so you can get some rest. I totally agree with SHIRLEY about your health.

    BBL

    ReplyDelete
  46. So we have an official Carrier and an official shipper...aren't we like the Olympics or something?

    ReplyDelete
  47. LynnD Congrats on first! You might want to hide between posts, though. You are, after all, chocolate in a thin candy shell and Carol is sounding desperate.

Carol Perfect blog today! We can all vent and whine. I'm going for the whining. I have another freakin' cold! I just got done with the cold that had me coughing all night long in Chicago (my poor roomies) and now I've caught another one from my GD! This sucks and it's wearing me out.

Waving a tissue at all the owls. Aren't you lucky?

    ReplyDelete
  48. J/L: I am in for the whining..I am so TIRED today..omg. I want a nap so bad!

    ReplyDelete
  49. J/L: I can't believe you caught another cold..uggh..bad cough again too??

    ReplyDelete
  50. Bebbi~ not the Olympics....we're like NASCAR!!! :)~

OMG!!! I'm sitting between Jeremy and Clint in this class....and these two are going to get me fired!!!! THEY ARE IDIOTS!!!! and making me laugh so hard!!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Tina: GMTA! I was thinking of Nascar too..after I posted! lol

    ReplyDelete
  52. J/L- sorry you are sick again-did you really have time to stop coughing before you started again?

Bebbi- the best carrier would be VIRGIN - well, then again maybe not with this group....ijs

Just had the most beautiful Orchid delivered. Now really, do you think they could have picked anything easier for me to kill with my black thumb?

Mr. Goldie won't let me within 10 feet of it. It is looking at me with leary leaves and bloosoms as I write this!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Tina: Great Minds Think Alike...

Goldie: I forgot your Virgin airlines..it is really good...that is a tough one. Need to do the battle of the carriers to see who comes out to be our "official" carrier of the nest! haha.

    Don't kill the Orchid!

    ReplyDelete
  54. OMG you have to see this, its in my blog for today, on main page.. fanowlstatic!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. LOL! That is so awesome..OMG>.Goldie..that is too cool! haha...how wonderful!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. Where the heck did you find a place that has one of those, Goldie? That's incredible..love IT!...you so smart!

    ReplyDelete
  57. That's what I'm talking about...911 for chocoholics! Good going, Goldie! :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Hey Goldie I've got a craving for money!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Carol tell us what's inside, so we can all drool!

    Yay!!!!! Goldie saves the day!!!

    ReplyDelete
  60. omg, can't you guys keep this place even....80~! I leave for a few minutes and we are all odd.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Shirley: LOL...craving money! You are FUNNY!....!!

Yes, Carol, we want to see what you got...take a pic, show us please!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Tina: So, how was that Jeremy and Clint sandwich today? Sounds like it tickled your funny bone.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I have been stuffing my face all day..help me Lord..please help me to have control over my hand to mouth syndrome.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Fan freaking Owl tastic!

goldie you are a wonder! How the hell did you get that to her so fast! I was thinking USPS priority but that can take 3 days and I figured she would kill someone by then!

I have not been eating today but I am so damn tired. I also had a yelling screaming client at the food bank and finally had to tell him he was no longer welcome at our shop. He has to go to the next town over. We can refuse service to assholes! Lord I am starting to feel like the damn terminator. It is taking it's toll.

You guys have met me do I look mean? Well I know I can be a bitch but really who needs the abuse? At this point I think I need to soak in chocolate.

    Shirley craving money! LMAO

Dianne have fun at the movies! I think I need an escape day maybe that is the answer.

goldie I am really starting to think we truly were separated at birth! I can kill a house plant faster than a speeding bullet. It may have something to do with watering. Like I forget and then get pissed off because the damn ungrateful plant won't man up and hang on until I remember.

    ReplyDelete
  65. you don't look mean! You actually look hot and sexy!!!!!!!

    and that sandwich....bebbi....ewwwwwwwww~

    ReplyDelete
  66. Good evening feathered friends!

LYNN...you did it!! Yay! So, what does a client of the food bank have to yell about? Maybe he was just angry at his situation and needing to rely on a food bank. but, he shouldn't be taking it out on you and your volunteers.

CAROL...we all have those days! But, as someone said (sorry I can't recall who)you NEED to take care of yourself. Have some of that chocolate and sit back and relax, ok?

GOLDIE...how sweet (get it!!)of you to send that to CAROL. I think you may of saved her!

DIANNE...how was the movie? Who is in it?

JUST LIN...sorry you are sick again. Maybe you need an antibiotic...or rum!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Happy Weds!

Wow, I am so impressed by Goldie! That was AMAZING! What a thoughtful gesture.

I think it's fine to have a "venting" blog! So here goes:

I went for a "deep cleaning" at the dentist this morning, and my mouth and jaw are incredibly f*%#ing sore (the f>>>ing was for Tina!)

    There, I feel better now.

Dianne MR. EBJ and I both LOVE survivor, we both like Rupert (still). I don't know if he will last or not.

I don't want Russell to win but he just might.

    Gotta feed the MR.

    ReplyDelete
  68. This morning, a little before 8 I was sitting here reading emails and area 51 when I heard...

BA BOOM and the house totally shook. My heart skipped a dozen or so beats. I didn't know what happened. I went to all the windows to see if a tree had fallen on the house or something, but everything seemed fine here and throughout the complex. When I got to work everyone was talking about the explosion. Apparently, a house blew up and leveled it and the houses on either side. Thank G-D noone was killed. The explosion was at least 10 - 15 miles from my house. It was felt and heard for MANY miles. How scary.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Mo this is a client we have had problems with many times. But today he started calling my volunteers bitches and was yelling and screaming. He wanted to talk to someone in charge so I went to talk to him and he started in with the yelling and screaming and the I was a bitch. So I asked him not to come back. I am done. We are all volunteers and nowhere does it say we have to take abuse.

He then tore out of our parking lot and damn near hit another client. He is older and I suspect a large drinking problem at times even wondered about his mental state. Enough is enough. I did not yell I just asked him to leave and not come back.

My desk manager was ready to crawl over the desk and cold cock him. I had to restrain her. I even had two new volunteers today who where in shock over the abuse he was dishing out. Eiyyyyyiiii yyyyiiii.

Glad your house is still standing! Thank God no one was hurt!

EBJ Mr. Lynn D is very into survivor but I just could not stomach watching that Russell guy and that Parvo woman makes my skin crawl.

    ReplyDelete
  70. The secret is the internet and 1 long distance call to NJ. I couldn't take the chance she would eat someones young....

I'm happy it cheered up Carol!

Shirley- my husband says the same thing- I crave money! When I figure how to get a whole bunch of it I will share.

Wow- Scary MO- glad no one was killed. That would have scared the bejeeses out of me too.

Lynn- I know, you give them a home, shelter and water (once in awhile) and the ungrateful bastards croak on you.

Mr. Goldie tells me not to look at them, or talk to them, and he takes care of them all. The only one which is my 'baby' is a plant I got from my Fathers Memorial Service 14 years ago and it thrives. I think Dad has something to do with it.. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  71. Daughtrey singing on IDOL right now!

    ReplyDelete
  72. GOLDIE...I too have a major brown thumb. A couple of years ago I was Trader Joe's admiring the Orchids the girl was putting out. She tried to convince me to buy one and I explained my brown thumbness. She then proceeded to scratch out the price on one and said it was a gift of T.J's to me to prove even I could keep an orchid alive! Well, suffice it to say...it died about a week later! I killed bamboo, too!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Mo: That is scary!

Goldie: I have a whole bunch of plants that I take care of but I am plant downsizing now..put them all outside for summer. We'll see who survives. I have a huge rubber tree that I have split and given to neighbors and family. I have had it for about 17 years. I have another plant from my grandmother memorial but it hasn't been doing well lately. I have had it 10 years. I have a huge aloe vera, and about 10 other plants. I get carried away. My favorites are purple passion and I love Peonies..I have two of those outside and tulips and forget me nots that come up every year. I used to do a garden but it's too much work now. I do love plants and flowers though.

I have even grown louffa! They are fun and grow like crazy. I have tomatoes every year and love growing peppers too. Okay..sorry..you got me talking about plants. I love them.

    ReplyDelete
  74. LynnD: You are very brave about the crazy man. Be careful though, you just don't know what people are capable of doing. I would be on guard for that nut. eegads. That freaks me out.

    ReplyDelete
  75. JBJ: SUPERMAN...woah..goldie..you happy? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  76. Wow..I can definitely see why you like him goldie..although, I like men that have more meat on them than that..haha. He's certainly gorgeous though. Does Mr. Goldie ever get jealous..I mean, you are a pretty and wonderful ady..JBJ could seriously love you as much as we do! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  77. Goldie what a "sweetie" you are!
btw, I am craving me some JBJ~I hear you have connections! I am looking at "Jon singing to Heidi" picture. So I know you have pull!! Can you send him by UPS as quick as Carols pleese?

    ReplyDelete
  78. LOL Mary..love it! You guys and your JBJ thing! :) Too cute.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Lynn, Goldie & Mo, I have a silk Ficus tree that is losing its leaves. I don't dare try to keep live plants.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Why are you all talking about my honey behind my back? IJA!!

He only sang to GOLDIE because I told him to :)~

    ReplyDelete
  81. SACBARB...I think you win! I don't recall killing too many silk flowers!!! I wanted to plant them in my yard so it would be pretty all summer and my friends wouldn't allow me to do that!!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Sacbarb..

    LOL 911!!!

    Shirley..

    LOL craving for money!!!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I did not open it yet as its just so pretty.. but I will def open it tomorrow and take pics so everyone can see the goodness inside..

    ReplyDelete
  84. Did you see it? JBJ sang to me again. G-D I love that man!

No, Mr. Goldie doesn't get jealous, he gets benefits!! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  85. It came hand delivered today, by a local business.. This women walks in with the biggest smile on her face and asks for Carol.. which I say is me, she handed it to me and said enjoy. I just stared at it cause it was not registering what it was, by the time I realized she was out the door, I did not even tip her.. it happened so fast..

    Just a sweet surprise..

Now I can't wait to see whats inside.. but that will be tomorrows surprise.. I will post the pics on todays blog and will let everyone know when they are posted..

Wow.. totally blown away by Goldie thoughtfulness..

    ReplyDelete
  86. LOL Goldie! And I did see it..I have to admit..he is singing to you. I TOTALLY see it now! :) (Not sure about Mo telling him to, but it could be...)

    ReplyDelete
  87. Carol: You deserve it, and that was so awesome of Goldie. :)

    ReplyDelete
  88. Mo, LOL @ wanting to plant silk flowers outside.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Carol, I can't believe you are going to be able to wait til tomorrow to open the emergency kit. I would have eaten half of it by now.

    ReplyDelete
  90. BEBBI...every morning when we wake up we discuss which friend he can sing to and be with. I am very generous in sharing MY JBJ with my friends!

    ReplyDelete
  91. ******BETTY WHITE ALERT******

She will be on the Tonight Show, tonight

    ReplyDelete
  92. Mo: You are so thoughtful!

Barb: Me too! I can't wait for nuttin...I wouldn't have even thought of a picture until my face was covered in chocolate..and I was in chocolate ecstasy!

    ReplyDelete
  93. The only reason why I waited is I was crazed at work today, and did not want to rush thru it.. I will open it up in the morning when its quiet and I can enjoy..

And I get to have chocolate for breakfast.. how fun is that!

    ReplyDelete
  94. I love these no blog days as well.. we don't have to think.. we will def do them more often..

    :O)

    ReplyDelete
  95. oh and I left out how pretty the box was and did not want to ruin it..

    ReplyDelete
  96. Tina: Well, sometimes! After all, we do live apart for much of the week... ;)

    Goldie, you are a sweetheart!

    ReplyDelete
  97. I missed American Idol.. crap.. I brought home work that had to get done and forgot all about it..

    Crap!

    ReplyDelete
  98. Carol: I saw parts of it, been on here playing Lexulous.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Goldie What a super idea! That was really thoughtful of you.

Carol How fun to get a surpise gift like that!

SacBarb LOL @ you killing your silk plant.

Mo Thank goodness for friends to reign us in.

    ReplyDelete
  100. CAROL...when does Sal come back to work? Can you hire one of the Italian Stallions?

    ReplyDelete
  101. Mo I liked the idea of planting silk flowers. No weeding or watering and who's going to know unless they go to pick one?

Good night Owls! Chocolate dreams everyone!

Carol things will get better. Take care of yourself. Don't worry about the blog. It seems to be it's own entity these days. We don't need specific topics to comment on. As long as Tina continues with her fashion disasters we will have plenty to talk about. Plus there is Dianne's "accountant" and Goldie's "inspection" and Lynn's gorgeous green glow. So relax and eat some chocolate and take it one day at a time. (((((HUGS)))))

    ReplyDelete
  102. (((HUGS))) for you too Goldie!! Great job with the emergency kit!!

    ReplyDelete
  103. Goldie ~ what a sweet and wonderful thing for you to do.

Carol ~ I hope your day tomorrow is better!

Everyone else ~ hoot hoot! Hello!

I am so bad with plants, I killed a cactus once. True story.

JBJ lovers... Jon and Richie sweated on me once. Is sweated a word? Hmmm... they were both sweating and they touched me.

I just scored tickets to see Lee DeWyze on Friday for his Homecoming Concert. Yeah me!

    Night all!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Hi Annie! Sounds like fun, lucky you!

    ReplyDelete
  108. OK so much for going to bed and trying to sleep. Not happy! Ever try coughing with a CPAP mask on you face? Annoying! My sore throat is better but I have developed an annoying cough which seems to get worse when I lie down. This could be tricky cause I"M TIRED AND I WANT TO GO TO SLEEP!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Annie, How lucky for you. I killed a jade plant once after I was told it would be impossible and honestly, I wasn't trying to kill it.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I'm going to try going to bed again. It's 2:30 and hopefully my cough will let me sleep. Good night...again!

  111. Hi Sleeping Owls....The movie was Last Song by Nicholas Sparks (same person as Notebook, etc). It was with Myley Cyrus and a very good movie but sad too. We both liked it. It was like all of his movies and books and I like his style of writing.

SHIRLEY AND J/L: Sorry you are both sick. J/L: what a drag to get sick again after just getting over it. You must be keeping Depends in business! lol SHIRLEY: If you are going to stay up playing games so late (I see you on FB) could you start playing Family Feud too, please?

GOLDIE: How nice of you to send CAROL chocolate today. You are a very thoughtful and quick owl.

BEBBI: WE have to use UPS to keep my SIL employed. BTW, he hasn't gotten that route you promised yet...how much longer?

Well, TINA looks a little better and SHIRLEY looks scary. I want the sun back SHIRLEY< ....please???

Thought of all of you while watching Bon Jovi tonight on AI. I do like him but not like all of you and I mostly like him because he and John Elway used to own an Arena Football team. (Goldie, just ask MRG).

Guess I had better head off to bed as I have PT tomorrow and hope I can do that bike again.

Sweet dreams and hope you are asleep by now SHIRLEY Oh yea one more thing. SHIRLEY, my "accountant"and I broke up for a few months...I hope.

  113. Annie How cool that you will get to see Lee. I like him a lot. I loved Chicago, too.

Dianne I hope your separation from your accountant really works this time. And yes, it is definitely a drag to be sick again. It's mostly in my sinuses. The cough will come later. Oh, and I hope the PT goes well tomorrow. Good job on doing the 20 minutes the other day.

Shirley I hope you can sleep. Coughing really wears you out.

  116. TINA...we have an agreement...what he does with you (or BARB or GOLDIE) stays between he and you! Kinda like what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!

  118. Dianne: I am working on it..every day..shows you how much clout I have, huh...haha. What market is he in? I will light a brown candle. :)

  119. Goldie: I am bummed! Virgin is stopping the incentive program because of no sponsorship. But, I can still use the pedometer and download my steps every day for a mere $2.75 a month. I am thinking of doing it because it has value to me to keep me in check with my steps. Not sure though, would love your opinion.

  120. Mo: I want more sleep too..been running on too few hours lately and a lot happening..I am going to have a serious "vedge" weekend to replenish myself.

  121. Dianne: I am with you on JBJ..I think he's okay but have never really been a huge fan (lover)..like Barb, Mo and Goldie..
