This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!

Lady Gaga Medley
by Jodi
This piece was performed by the Oregon HS Chamber Orchestra June 2, 2010. Sam's friend Willy Subach wrote the arrangement during Spring Break. ENJOY!!!
When I dance they call me Macarena And the boys they say que soy buena They all want me, they can't have me So they all come and dance beside me Move with me, chat with me And if I could I'd take you home with me.....
CAROL- just wanted to say that I am so sorry about Sal. For him it may have been the best, but for you I know the hurt knows no bounds. (hug)
EBJ- The Sea Lions were my favorite part of our vacation to F in March. We stayed right on Fisherman's Wharf and the Sea Lions serenaded me every morning while I sat on the balcony and drank my coffee. Lovely!
You might not see Sam in the Orchestra, but listen to the sweet music-that's her!! She is a terrific talent, and I have had the pleasure of watching her perform.
DeeDee- so glad you invented the Macarena, I learned it and we danced to it all the time while we were in the Bahamas (slamming Bahama Mama's)- an that was 14 years ago!
Great video Jodi! What talented kids! I could play "Mary Had A Little Lamb" on the recorder at one time. Don't know if I could do it now though. Thanks for sharing!
Carol there is lots of cawfee in the kitchen if you stop by today. Lynn is out raising money so the coffee supply should be good for a while. Stocked up on tissues too if you need them. ((HUGS))
DeeDee Congrats on first but STOP SMACKING YOUR LIPS!
EBJ We've been having beautiful summer weather this weekend. Sorry I wasn't here for your blog yesterday. Those sea lions are fascinating, aren't they?
LynnD Good luck with the fundraiser. Hope you make lots of moolah.
Golide I can invision you doing the Macarena. It was fun but goofy at the same time. I remember doing it at my husband's niece's wedding.
Shirley Mmmmm. Pizza sounds good. Why'd you have to say that?
Jodi Thanks for the great vid today. They are excellent! You sure do grow talented kids there in Oregon, Wisconsin. :)
I never did get back to sleep after I posted at 6:00 this AM!
That noisy birdy of mine wanted me to get up.
Jodi, I loved the video! I wish I'd learned to play an instrument when I was young. That music is awesome!
Goldie, I love the wharf, lots to do there. There is or was a bar called Lou's that is super fun. I think it might still be there, had some great times at that place!
The sea lions are coming back. They all left early this year, and the thought was they were out looking for food.
JL it is supposed to be 95 here today. It is about 80 already and steadily rising.
Glad I got my laundry done early, my last load is in the dryer.
Shirley the pizza sounds good! I'm not into soccer at all. Luckily, MR. EBJ isn't either!
Lynn, good luck with your fundraiser today! Hope you make LOTS of $$
oh no Shirley...bullshit was my first invention back in the 40's....you know of course that every time you eat corn or do the macarena you owe me money...right??
J/L...lol....sorry...sometimes I smack without realizing it....
and speaking of Mary had a Little Lamb....may I offer this....
Mary had a little lamb, A lobster and some prunes, A glass of milk, a piece of pie, And then some macaroons; It made the naughy waiters grin To see her order so' And when they carried Mary out, Her face was white as snow.
CAROL: Though words often fail me at times like this I just wanted you to know you are in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.
JODI: I loved the video..the arrangement was so inventive and the kids were excellent..they are all so talented..especially Sam..I wish she would have been up front! Thanks for sharing this today!
DEEDEE: You're not only pretty but damn you're a good dancer!
EBJ: I'm sorry I missed your blog yesterday..I love watching the sea lions..they're so cute and playful. I'd love to go see them someday!
LYNN: Good luck today!
GOLDIE: I could never get the steps to the Macarena down right..now I know why..I needed a couple of drinks to awaken my creative side! ;)
SHIRLEY: Good morning Sunshine! Who won?
J/LIN: LOL! I thought DEEDEE's avatar was a llama...too much farming I guess.. ;)
Little Miss Muffet decided to rough it... In a cabin quite old and medieval... A rounder espied her and plied her with cider.. And now she's the forest's prime evil...
[accepts bouquet and takes several bows waiting for applause to die down]
LOL@ Dee Dee! I hope you're front and center at the Tony's tonight!
Hello, Owls! We were supposed to go to the beach today, but the fog has rolled in along the coast one day ahead of schedule, so nada on the beecha. Oh well!
Thank you all so much for the txt's, msg's voicemails.. you are all the best..
I am feeling much better today, and I am only working on 1hr sleep.. go figure!
It is starting to sink in.. and with each day, I am sure the realization will come to be..
Sal is being cremiated.. a service with his ashes (in urn of course) will be Thursday nite at the funeral home, and Friday morning a mass in the church he grew up in..
He new many priests/nuns/bishops as he attended the seminary for three yrs.. I have spoken to some and many will be there.. I am sure it will be beautiful, just has he wanted.. his ashes will also be at the church..
Carol I'm glad you decided to drop by. Whatever DeeDee tells you is not true...I didn't do it! I do hope each coming day will get a little easier for you. Sending you lots of ((((HUGS)))). Now get some rest and take care of yourself! Don't make me come down there!
Assorted nuts Pretzels plain or chocolate dipped Potatoe chips and dip Fresh fruit Strawberry shortcake Ice cream sundaes Chocolate chip cookies still warm Ice cold milk Chocolate cake Assorted sodas/pop Coffee/tea Water Juice Apple pie with ice cream or cheese
