  12. Gee, Tina... I've seen those old typewriters in pics and films, but never in real life. My first typewriter was... a computer.

DeeDee, my compliments to your plastic surgeon.

Just_Lin, it takes a helluva woman to brave the elements on a cruise. Lots of respect from this end.

  13. Bonach. You must be pulling my leg. My most difficult trial has been deciding what to wear for dinner. LOL. We just left a goat farm and fell in love with a barn kitten.

  14. Good Morning!

TINA: I saw it coming..but it still made me laugh!

DEEDEE: Happy Corn Day to you too!

BEBBI: You might want to talk to DEEDEE about getting a percentage..lol.. ;)

    GOLDIE: Enjoy your weekend! :)

J/LIN: I googled where you are cruising..well that sounded strange..lol..now I understand the cold weather. For some reason I thought you were on the west coast!

CAROL: You mean monitors don't look like that anymore? ;)

Waving HI to all owls near and far..have a great day everyone!

  15. Nope, not pulling your leg, Lin. Round about this time of year, I start to look like the Sta-Puft Marshmallow Man with all the layers I wear to keep warm.

  16. Bonach.I'm doing okay today in sweater, scarf, lined windbreaker, and jeans. The other day I wore tights under my jeans. I could have done that today, too. I'm sure I have more "natural" insulation than you do.

Zone. Started out in New York which is still located on the East Coast. ;)

  17. ah...so Bebbi...ur growing corn?? I need to know how long you have been growing it...where...and what you do with it...

I'm assuming your papers are in order.....

Zona thank you for the "Happy Corn Day"...ur the only one other than Bebbi to mention it...

I don't think that the other day when we were discussing pride in America that I mentioned that the U.S. Treasury is considering adding my picture to the twenty dollar bill in addition to the dollar bill that its already on.....

    Isn't that exciting!!??

    ReplyDelete
  18. lol at J/L...

be careful not to step in any google that Zona may have left behind...

so THATS WHERE YOU'VE BEEN ZONA!! you have been googling around P.E.I. haven't you? ...well you just admitted it!

    ReplyDelete
  19. J/LIN: I wrote that info down for future reference..you know..just in case I ever get out of AZ..LOL! ;)

DEEDEE: Well sheesh..now I have to Google P.E.I.!!

    ReplyDelete

  23. DeeDee,I checked my calender twice and could not find "corn day".Was there a calender mix up? Do I need to call someone?

Tina, I had seen this before but forgot what it was about. It caught me by surprise...again! Too funny!

Justlin, cold or warm I would still like to be where you are :)
I see a cruise in my near future! I need to invest in a lottery ticket so I can take some hooters with me!!

It is sunny & cold in Mich. today. i worked our VFW this morning. A sweet lady friend passed away. I helped at her luncheon. She was 87. She never lost her cute southern accent. She was a from Tennessee, perfect example of a Southern Lady. RIP Miss Kitty.

    Have a great day all!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Zona. Correct! :). Geography is not my strong suit, either. I only know where it is because I was just there.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Mary. Wouldn't that be fun to take a cruise with all the HOoters?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Mary...you must have overlooked Corn Day....some people call it maize...

I SAID MY PICTURE IS ON THE DOLLAR BILL!!!

    I guess everyone knew that!

Zona...I did that to you on purpose....therefore...u have had ur geography lesson o the day....

Hey! My Etiquette Hell questions petered out....may be I should ask and answer a geography question everyday....hmmm

    ReplyDelete
  27. DeeDee. I knew that was you on the dollar bill. I recognized your hairstyle instantly.

    ReplyDelete

  29. That's GEORGE WADDINGTON!!!

    ....crikey!

thats my EYE above the pyramid on the reverse side of the great seal. My eye represent the all seeing eye and watchfulness of the Deity....

yeah...I knew with that explanation that you all would better understand why it is my eye they wanted to use....

so the next time you pull a dollar bill out of your wallet...or your ample bosom....you'll look at the eye and think of DeeDee....

    I COMMAND IT!! ...ah..I mean...ah...isn't that interesting?

    ReplyDelete
  30. DeeDee,"I'll keep an eye out for you"!

    ReplyDelete
  31. DeeDee, I pull dollar bills out of my thong. Don't know how they get there...

  32. Evening DeeDee, Goldie, Just Lin, Carol, Bebbi, Tina, Whabbear, Lynn D, Bonachi, Zona and Mary!

I have seen this video before Tina. It's very funny! Good choice!!

Just Lin I'm glad you're enjoying your cruise. Did you spend any time in Halifax? If I had my own car I definately would have gone to meet you. I'm a little over 2 hours away. Sometimes I'm glad I don't have a car anymore, with gas prices, insurance and repairs. But sometimes I really wish I did have a car.

    ReplyDelete
  33. DeeDee I'm on to you! You told us what day it was today, but I'm not going to say it cause if I do I will owe you money. Very clever!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. omg...Shirley!! I thought you had it!!

And that was very good...but no cigar....its much bigger than that.....

But I do imagine you will probably be the first to figure out my plan!!

of course thats assuming I have a plan....oh listen to me...you have gotten me all carried away now!!

    Thats silly....plans and ulterior motives....

(backs hurriedly out of room and the sound of burning rubber is heard as she her Rolls disappears into the night...)

    ReplyDelete
  35. Shirley. We did spend a little time in Halifax. Took a tour out to Peggy's Cove and FROZE OUR ASSES OFF! LOL
