Let it Be....

Gyldne Tider (Golden Times) is a Norwegian TV-show, where the three guys (in red shirts in the video) travel around the world to visit the stars they loved when they were kids. These are the stars they have visited. They are all lip-syncing over the Stock/Aitken/Waterman produced version of  Let it Be (Ferry Aid) from the 80s.
I loved it!

  6. OMG.. all the bad weather in the midwest.. they even changed the Giants game to tomorrow nite cause MSP is so bad.. I read everything is shut down.. so glad we don't get blizzard weather till January, just don't think I can handle it this early in the season..

Today here in NJ.. the wind is howling and the rain is coming down.. but I would take this weather over what the midwest is having any day..

    Hope all is safe

  14. DEE DEE...our nurses don't even wear those white nurses shoes. They wear sneakers.

    ReplyDelete
  15. DeeDee dear THIS is the shoe you should be wearing. Throw those other hideous things away!

  16. I know a lot of people enjoy that type of shoe....many enjoy them so much that they have a hard time giving them up judging from the amount of filth I see on them...

I know Americans have the right to wear them under the Shoe Freedom Act that comes right after the make up act that still allows women to wear baby-blue eye shadow....

but personally I wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of them.

I say if you can't do it in heels that you don't have any business doing it!!

If I were going to start wearing "tennies" I might as well get some stretch pants and cut them off at the knee...tear a couple of holes in them...apply a couple of well placed stains...leave my brassiere at home and get a poly blend t-shirt that says...

    SARAH PALIN FOR PRESIDUMBITCH!"

  17. Carol you have come to the right place to find your Ho's!

  24. Alexander McQueen Armadillo shoes barely sold in stores... There are only 21 pairs in existence range in price from $3,900 to $10,000... depending on the style.. material and embroidery....
The shoes are pretty much impossible to get...unless, of course you’re DeeDee... Lady Gaga or style icon Daphne Guinness....

  25. DeeDee they are the most bizare shoes I have ever seen! $10000.00, wow!! But if it makes you happy, go ahead and wear them!

Tina,it's about time you did something useful!! ijs

I believe the Giants game will be played in Detroit tomorrow, which surprises me considering our blizzard conditions.I know we have a dome, but travel will be bad!

  31. Hmmm... methinks Carol should have been at our Christmas party last night to perk up her spirits. SacBarb and J/L were VERY naughty! But it was... nice!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I sure wanted to go to your party :(
I would have loved to have gotten snowed out of Mich & in Cali!!!

Why am I not surprised the girls were naughty lol!!!

  33. Good evening feathered friends!

I just got home and I am a bit shaky. Seems the rain and snow has left the roads rather icy. I almost totally spun out. I think I lost at least 2-3 years of my life. So glad to be home and cozied up in front of the laptop!

Saw a really cute sign in front of the church around the corner:

FAITHBOOK: GOD HAS SENT YOU A FRIEND REQUEST.

    I love church signs!

  34. SHIRLEY...glad to see youi. I was afraid you did something nasty at the mall on Friday and was awaiting the bail money!!

DEE DEE...I have to be honest here. Those shoes are FUGLY! Should be Alexander McGross! Even the "sensible" shoes SHIRLEY picked are better!!! IMHO!!

WHABBY...glad the party was a success! Why are you up so early? LOL! Rumor has it that JUST LIN had a great time!

MARY...I agree...getting stranded in Cali is certainly a fate to be desired!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I wasn't as naughty as SacBarb. :)

I said it before and I'll say it again. Had a great time, Bear! Thank you!

Tonight I go to our "office" party which is being held in the banquet room of a restaurant at the local golf course. Should be fun.

    ReplyDelete
  36. HEY...What happened to "what happens at the party, STAYS at the party" I really thought I could trust you guys!

We had good food and libations in copious amounts, especially in my case. Plus, one of Bear's friends made some 'special' chocolate chip cookies. Yummmmmm

Well, a great time was had by all and that's all you need to know! However, I wish you people would be a little quieter. I have a really bad headache.

Thanks again Bear and I really love the remodel.

  37. J/L, Have fun at your Office party.

Mo, LOL I love church signs too. Didn't someone do a blog about church signs? Maybe it was you?

Waving to all the other Owls. I am off to church to repent. BBL

  38. Hi Guys!

CAROL: That was fun to watch..it's cool to see how celebrities look when you haven't seen them in a while!

DEEDEE: I don't think the crab claw shoes are 'you'..ijs.. ;)

MO: I'm glad you're ok and safe and warm at home!

SACBARB: Hmmm..I got an interesting text last night..you wouldn't happen to know anything about that..would you? ;)

    J/LIN: Have a great time tonight..again! :D

BIRRRDDEEEE!! I think you beat me this time! :D

Waving HI to MARY, BEAR, TINA and SHIRLEY!

  39. It's going to be 82 degrees here tomorrow..just take your sweet ol' time Winter..sheesh..

BEAR: I think I hate the smart meter..our electric bill was $50 higher than it was last year at this time..and that's with no ac and no heater running. I don't even want to think about how high it's going to be in the summer.

    ReplyDelete
  40. SacBarb and J/L: Thanks for the kind words about the remodel, and glad you had a fun time! We spent the morning cleaning, and it doesn't look like there was ever a party here!

Mary: You should have surprised us!

Zona: That's nuts! I hope you can track down where the extra charge is coming from.

    So to apeak!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Zona, I cannot be held responsible for anything I texted last night. I'm sure SOMEBODY put those words in my head.

  42. Sorry I missed the party last night! Sounded fun!

Bear, does that gal still live next door with the little black doggie?

Hope everyone had a nice weekend...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Judy: She does! She couldn't make the party because she was going out to Modesto for a Mother/Daughter get together. But she did drop off a bottle of bubbly as a party favor!

She was a saint through the remodel. While they were installing the new shower in my bathroom, they actually hit the wall with enough force to dislodge her soap dish and a mirror. She didn't freak out, just alerted me to it, and it got fixed up.

    Thank heaven for understanding neighbors!

  44. SHOOT...just looked at the weather report...expecting 8-16 inches of snow tomorrow. And not supposed to stop until Wednesday. I hate, no, HATE this.
