This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!

The Dreaded Stairs
by Zona
Even with my bad knee..I think I'd try walking up these stairs instead of taking the escalator. It really does look like fun!
Zona I would take those stairs. Of course make something fun and more people will try it!
Eva update: She saw the Neurologist yesterday and he is very happy with her progress, from his testing he thinks she is right were she should be at for a 1 month old baby.
He wants a new EEG done and if that comes back normal we will get to ween her off of the anti seizure meds.
Her audiology test yesterday showed some hearing issues in both ears, but the therapist did not seem very concerned about them and they will retest her at 9 months.
Next week is the speech therapist to determine if her swallowing issues are getting better.
We are cautiously optimistic on a full recovery for her.
Kathy!! That was the funnest and best video I have seen in a long time!! YAY..for FUN. :) I love it..wow, how nice is that. :) :) What an innovative idea!! I would take those stairs every day! :)
That really put a smile on my face. Thank you so much!
YAY Lynn!! I am so happy to hear that...that even makes me more happy today. God Bless her sweet little soul. Such good news to hear she's coming off the meds and is where she should be for a 1 month old. :) :) Prayers work, especially prayers for children. :)
LYNN...YAY!!! What good news! Eva is a fighter...of course she is, afterall she is YOUR grandaughter! Still keeping her in my prayers that she continue to thrive. How is Leah doing?
JUST LIN...Hmmmm, hungering for a scoop or two of custard? :)~ Me thinks you will be plenty warm and have no need for that coat and hat. Of course the boots can be for fun!!!!!
ZONA...can't watch the vid, so no commentary from me. I did get a bit nervous when I saw your name and stairs on the same page!! ijs!
I hope everyone is staying warm (even ZONA!) and safe if you have to venture out.
Thanks for the comments on my blog today. I really thought this video was..well..fun! I wouldn't be able to resist..I'd have to try it!
TINA: Love lookin' at Mr. Dempsey every morning..it certainly does make it a good moanin'! ;)
LYNN: I am so freakin' happy to hear how well Eva is doing! Just a reminder..take it easy on that knee!
BEBBI: LOL..you had the same reaction that I did! :):)
BEAR: I'm pretty sure what you said was good..lol.. ;)....:D
DEEDEE: I know, I know..you're right..I probably would end up in traction..but I have a feeling I would have fun getting there! :D
BONACHI: I would only be able to play 'Heart and Soul' and Chopsticks..I learned those from a friend who took lessons..then she quit and my piano education ended.. ;)
J/LIN: I think I would keep using the stairs..until I broke something anyway.. ;) btw..have a wonderful time in Boise..like I have to tell you.. :D
It was cold here today..with the windchill it was about 30 degrees all day. The weatherman said it was 20* with the windchill this morning. Tonight it's supposed to get down to 26..hopefully without any wind! I know it's colder other places..but dang..this is the desert..we're not used to it!
Time to turn on the heat and try to find an extra blanket! Stay warm tonight everyone!! :)
Evening Owls! My avatar picture is for DeeDee...it's a glare, cause our storms last night and today originated in Texas and I KNOW she had a part in sending it up to the north east.
DeeDee Oh, thank you! You are way too kind. That hat and coat look so warm and cozy I probably wouldn't even have to wear clothes under it. Of course, then you'd probably insist I not sit down in it. LOL
J/L: I was about to ask TINA the same question. It sounds like summer where you are J/L. SOOOOOO>..going for some custard are you? Haven't heard that mentioned in quite some time
ZONA: I would take the stairs at least once just to hear the tunes. They would be sloooooow notes but just the same I would try them. Funny blog....thanks.
Went to a couple of appts and grocery shopping today. It was 8 during the day but with our sun it didn't feel too bad. Very cold and below 0 again tonight. We have our faucets dripping too.
LYNN: I am so glad to hear about the positive recovery of little Eva. I hope you and your daughter are both feeling better too.
That was cute Zona~ Thanks for sending it~
