This is so freaky! I know I talk religion, probably more than some of you would like, but it's what gets me through the rough patches. When I need it, it's there. In a big way. At mass on Saturday night, it wasn't just the first reading, or the second one, or the gospel.....it was all three that spoke to me. It was perfect. Then today, I went to log into the blog, and never made it there.
When I use my daughter's laptop, I always have to type the entire address for our site. I messed up this time and left off an 's'. Imagine my surprise to find a bible study website. The real web address is www.biblestudy.us. I typed www.nightowlssb.blogpot.com and got to the same place! Go figure.
Check it out if you want. You don't have to. I went straight for the "evil people hate light" page. So interesting. (all my lights are on!)
Hi
ReplyDeleteJust stopping in to say hello and now going to sleep and will read later. Good morning to. All
ReplyDeleteMorning glories!
ReplyDeleteDianne Muwahhhh
Just crawled out of my coffin before dawn lights the day to say have a lovely Tuesday.
Good Afternoon!
ReplyDeleteTINA: I was kind of confused by the title of the blog..because my house has all north and south facing windows..except two..and is often dark..and when I have a migraine, there's nothing worse than lights. But I get what you're saying. Religion helps me get through the rough patches as well. I went to that website..but it was just a little too harsh for me.
DIANNE: Even through bleary eyes I can see how beautiful you are today! But what were you doing up so early? Yikes!
LYNN: My family is from the Carpathian mountains..I totally understand.. ;D
Well, Mr Z decided to turn the heat up to almost 70 when he went to bed..it's not cold enough for the heat to be so high. I hate when he does that..I always wake up with a headache. Ugh. I have to go prepare my speech for when he gets up.. ;D
Have a nice day everyone! :)
Tina: Interesting..I couldn't get the website to come up by dropping one of the "s"..not sure how you did that.. Maybe you could explain it better?
ReplyDeleteHi Dianne: Wow, you are certainbly beautiful today! Oh my! :)
LynnD..goood morning..prayed for Eva and all...how is she??
Kathy: I agree, the site seemed a littlle harsh to me.
I try to live in the light so much. I know I am a sinner and I am damned to hell. Most certainly by Catholic criteria, I am going to hell. But, well, I figure any good I do from now on out will just be for me and God, whether he likes it or not. Mostly because it brings me joy. So, look out hell here I come. :) Watch me burn in the fires of damnation and say a prayer because I think that God is Love and God Loves me...damned or not.
And I am glad I am damned..because I love all people and would help anyone if they needed me. Good, bad or whatever, we are all children of ONE God. All encompasssing..good bad, whatever. So I am bending over and kissing my sinner ass goodbye.. And loving all the lezzies, gays, freaks, athiests, goth, jews, Catholics, Baptists, Methodist, Zen, Zing, Zang, Islam, Muslem, Hindus, budhhists, and on and on all inclusive...
ReplyDeletemuah.. :) xo Love & Light..God help us all and I Love You.
LOL LynnD..just read that about crawling out of your coffin...
ReplyDeleteMy love includes Vampires, Werewolves, Aliens and the like as well. :) he he.
Tina I think your computer is possessed.....ijs.
ReplyDeleteDianne You look so lovely crossing the finish line in first place today, your mane flowing regally behind you.
ReplyDeleteLynnD Don't go in the kitchen. There's some cloves of garlic on the counter.
ReplyDeleteOh and btw, I fall under the "freak" category. And several other categories not mentioned. lol
ReplyDeleteJesus stood exactly outside that circle with the people who are excluded. I'm there.
ReplyDeleteBebbi LOL I don't believe you'll be burning anywhere. None of us can be perfect. We can only be the best we can be. Do you still have the same email address?
ReplyDeleteJ/L: yes belaine11@gmail.com I am not afraid anymore of my fate...because God said Be Not Afraid for I am with you. So, heck.. I am not afraid! :)
ReplyDeleteWith further review, I would have to say I am Goth as well. I love to wear all black... :)
ReplyDeleteTina I haven't gone to the website but I am assuming they are talking about metaphorical light. Certainly not the hot lights of the cameras, as there are plenty of evil people standing at pulpits in the glare of studio lights, urging the old and poor and desperate to send all their money to them.
ReplyDeleteBebbi LOL I guess I am goth, too, then.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of evil people.....I just read that the pirates killed the Americans that they took hostage the other day.
ReplyDeleteBebbi You have mail.
ReplyDeleteWell went to the site and I have to say as soon as I see anything that says Prayer Warriors or Warriors for God I am out of there. I am going to say this because I truly believe this is the evil amongst us. No different than Al Queda or the Taliban in my humble opinion.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't believe as they believe you are evil and dead to them. Blech.
Tina all your lights may be on, but no one is home! ijs :)
ReplyDeleteEvening all! Another long busy day so I'm going to bed. Nighty night owls...and DeeDee!
ReplyDeleteGood evening feathered friends!
ReplyDeleteHope you all had a great day and have an ever better tomorrow.
Hi Diane, bye Diane~~
ReplyDeleteTina, I was raised under the "fire & brimstone-scare-the-hell-out-of-you" theology. It took me a long time to get that crap out of my head. I fear God in a healthy way, but won't let writings like the web site you suggested get to me although a smidgen of Mex/Jewish guilt tried to creep in lol!! I obey God's laws (commandments)& man's laws and try to still have a good time :):)
Tina, the only thing on the site that I object to is the piece by the guy purporting to show "proof that the Bible is true".
ReplyDeleteI've gone to great lengths over on the Whabblog to show how a literal reading of the first chapter of Genesis CANNOT be true. Yet, he says
"I may have been the biggest skeptic in the world, but now I know—the Bible is true and is the perfect Word of God."
"Perfect truth"? As in every word is literally true? Arrrgghh!
The good news? At least the Catholic church, unlike the more conservative Christianist sects in the United States (like the Southern Baptists) has long since embraced a metaphorical, rather than a literal, interpretation of Genesis. And I have no problem with that!
Tina, from what he said, I think Whabbear likes you...I think!
ReplyDeleteI love Tina and like her and respect her opinions very much. I think she is a beautiful mother, wife, daughter, person and a true wonderful light in this world. I absolutely think she is wonderful and has an incredibly loving heart. :) !!!! xo Although, I have to agree with DeeDee..she does talk about Janice too much.. he he. :)
ReplyDeleteWhabby: You are so incredibly smart!!! :) Can I be you for a day just so I can say I had an incredible brain at least for 24 hours?
ReplyDeleteoh by hell..I have to do it...29
ReplyDelete..maybe "by hell" wasn't the thing to say on this particular blog..oopsy...30
