This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
Bon I think an engraved invitation would have been tattooed on his ass.
Seems everyone got all serious up in here yesterday. Boo to that. Sending everyone hugs. I just crawled out of bed because I just did not want to pull back the covers and face the world today. So no fighting please just laughter.
Hi Deedee Seems your up early facing the day! BAM back at you!
I love this blog and I love all of you! Please, if you could add my cell number 502-802-0990. I lost all my numbers and I wouldn't mind getting a few of yours, if you are will. Be sure to identify yourself in the text or if you call so I can put your number back in my phone. Jodi..I know I don't have yours. Mary I got yours back.. MO: I need yours again!
Thanks and feel free any of you to take my number and call me anytime.
Tina, thanks for all you do. If you need someone to take over posting the blog sometime I could try to do that. I am sorry for not sending any blogs but you could use the things I send to you from work for a blog if you want. :)
Oh I always get up early Lynn! And I have an exciting day today!
First there will be lounging about and catching up on the news...then after I lounge about a little more I will get dressed for the day....I have to go to the attorneys office...then I need to go see my friend Beth in the "home"...her 64th birthday was yesterday....she had a leg amputated last year and will probably lose the other one soon....diabetes you know....she has a good attitude about it....and also about the fact that she is fat and bald....she told me to find her a hairpiece with a suction cup on it...lol.... She has told me repeatedly that I'd better hurry if I want to see her alive....I told her it would be much easier for me if she were dead...you know...not to have to put up with her antics...I know she just wants to go to a hotel and get drunk and high and whatever she can get....its always disastrous...lol
I think going to spend 2-3 hours with her will be easier....that will give me a chance to see just how big she has gotten so I can buy her some clothes....she said she is so fat that she figures that her son will have to bury her in a piano case.....of course she is Buddhist and wants to be cremated but her son insists that he will bury her body next to her Mother and Father...
Beth is the best example of Murphys Law I have ever seen....so I told her it wouldn't matter if she is cremated or embalmed...it will be a diaster.....
she agreed...
Beths bad luck started in the 1950's....she was one of the few children in the United States to be actually given Polio when she was supposedly being immunized against it....
Finally in the 80's these people were compensated for being crippled for life....the government paid them $250,000.00 each.... generous huh?
But through all the hard knocks in Beths life...she has never stopped laughing....she has the greatest survival instinct and a truly wicked sense of humor...and I have loved her for 35 years....
Never in a million years would I have thought we could be friends...we were total opposites..and that just goes to show you....some of the best things in life are unexpected and come as a total surprise....and in mine and Beths case....
shock...
We have had our ups and downs...but even when I pushed her down a 70 foot sand dune in Monahans Texas on a makeshift sled...she forgave me...
here are some facts about Japan...for perspective...
Japan has a total of 6,852 islands extending along the Pacific coast of Asia. The main islands, from north to south, are Hokkaido, Honshū, Shikoku and Kyūshū. The Ryukyu Islands, including Okinawa, are a chain of islands south of Kyushū. Together they are often known as the Japanese Archipelago.
About 73 percent of Japan is forested, mountainous, and unsuitable for agricultural, industrial, or residential use. As a result, the habitable zones, mainly located in coastal areas, have extremely high population densities. Japan is one of the most densely populated countries in the world.
Japan is 10% smaller in physical size than the state of California, yet it is home to almost four times as many people.
California area: 42.4 million hectares population: 34,336,000
Japan area: 37.8 million hectares population: 126,686,000

Glad to see everyone posting yesterday and today. It was nice to see so many comments on the blog yesterday.
MrD comes home tonight and I am just getting ready to head to the airport to pick him up. His mom is already calling here for him....very sad.
ZONA: Almost your Anniversary. Hope you stick with your plans and have a great celebration (wink wink)....that pool water is never too cold for "ails" you, right?
MO: I was not asleep but wasn't close to cell so didn't hear it. As a matter of fact, I got up at 8:30 today for an appt. SHOCK
My daughter was very sick last night (actually for a week) and ended up in ER. She received two bags of fluid along with potassium and glucose. She still doesn't feel much better today. It made it extra hard with out of town family staying at her place this weekend.
Sorry I wasn't here earlier. I had a lunch date with one of my step-daughters and it turned into an all day visit. Hard to think of her as a step-daughter since she is only about 13 years younger than me. Anywho, wishing you all the sweetest of dreams.
Alright, enough of this Tina shit! Today is Shirley day and I want to see MY name in every single post!!! Could someone please copy and paste this to today's blog, thanks.
