This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
Yes it is hilarious....Matt Lucas is hilarious....
He got a standing ovation for his role as Thnardier in the 25th Anniversary Concert at 02 in London of Les Miserables. (which I recommended that you each buy on DVD...it is incredible)
My avatar is Lucas and Jenny Galloway as Thnardier and Madame Thnardier...comic villain innkeepers....here is the clip of one of their performances at 02 Arena...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1s_H-IyC2Co
Jenny G is such a fav that she was even in the 10th anniversary...
That is a funny video. I had no idea it was a man until I read your comment Michael about Matt Lucas. I guess I don't get around much because I had never seen him before. I just watched the video again and he surely has a woman's voice. How does he do it I wonder? HIs voice is higher than most women.
Have you walked for me today Bebbi? I wish I had my scooter. Our weather is so nice and the weather man says it's not going to last. What is your weather like where you are Bebbi?
Knowledge of all things fabulous is a prerequisite for being an A-List gay man....
I still have friends that are my window on the world since I don't travel and "do' as much anymore...I have been fortunate to live a pretty fantastic life....
So its probably just total recall and as I said....I do keep up with things although I seem to have an aversion to jumping on a plane at a moments notice anymore...
I'd rather stay at home and just hear about things most of the time....unless it is one of the few thing on my "must do before I die" list...there are still a couple of things that I shall have to force myself to do....lol
Zona - I am glad we could send you some cool weather. Ours is perfect today. It could stay like this all summer and I would be happy. It is 6:00 pm and I am sitting on the lounge on my deck. The soft breeze brings the fragrance of lilac and there must be a hundred little birds singing to me. On the grass on the other side of our fence a family of deer are sleeping in the sun. Tango and Tia are staring at them. If only it would last. They are calling for rain on this our long weekend. It is Victoria Day weekend with its big parade coming up. The weather determines how successful that parade is. Oh well there are bigger things in this world to worry about. Have a good evening my dear. I will talk to you in the morning.
Michael - Thank you for answering my question. I would love to know what things are left that you are going to force yourself to do but I respect your privacy and I won't ask. Have fun tonight.
Tina - I just watched "America Idol". I saw it on the Eastern feed so I won't comment on it until the West coast has seen it. Talk to you tonight about it. I would like to hear your opinion.
Michael: One of those things you must force yourself to do is jump on a plane and come to the BABB this year! A-list gay men must visit the Bay Area regularly, as you know!
and I do love San Francisco....ur absolutely right Whabbear!
I too have seen AI....and wrote Tina a note asking if she had seen it because I didn't want to spoil it for her but I did anyway...
She just called...said.."I HATE YOU!!"...and hung up...lol
Tinka...
I LOVE hot dogs...and one of the things I want to do is have hot dogs at Baejarins Beztu Pylsur in Reykjavík They are supposed to be the best in the world....its just a little hot dog stand that has been in business since 1937....they have lamb sausages...
I will make a run to Iceland for a hot dog!!
and I want to be a first class passenger on the new Airbus 380...just for the ride...the experience you know....they have private cabins and showers on Emirates Airlines...but I dang sure don't want to go to Dubai....
