Anvil Chorus

by Michael

This is the "best" I have ever seen this done....and it is done many different ways...watch as the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles thrills audiences with Verdi's "Anvil Chorus" from "Il Trovatore."

  2. Good morning Trina!!

If you have ever seen Il Trovatore when some old bearded man on a cape and hood does this with a tiny bell or one of the several other ways I have seen it done....you will certainly appreciate this.....those guys sure made it fun!

But the gays always do make everything more fun don't they?

  4. Good Morning Tina, Michael and Zona.

    Tina - Congrats on first.

Michael - Thank you for this morning's entertainment. I loved it.

Zona - I think the nicest place to be while it is so hot would be in a movie theatre. It is air conditioned is it not?

  5. I have be MIA these past few days because Kevin and his family got the flu first passing it on to Jack and me. It has not been a pleasant week. We missed my little granddaughter's 4th birthday that was on the 9th. We have rescheduled her party to a later date. She was too sick to know the difference.. Now we are all almost on the mend.

  10. Glad to hear you're having nice weather on the island, Tinka! It's very gloomy in San Francisco today. Zona, I wish I was in Palm Springs this weekend! Desert heat, as long as it's below 100 or so, suits me just fine!

Good morning Tina, Michael, and Jennifer!

  19. Here is some great news!

Chaz Bono to be grand marshal of San Francisco's pride parade.

    speaking of Chaz...

Chaz has worked wonders with his willingness to help people better understand transgender issues by speaking out in the way that he has....candidly and with his great sense of humor. And people are listening.

All the important shows have treated him with respect and dignity.

I know I always looked forward to the end of the Sonny and Cher show to get to see Chastity!!

Being part of a family that has been with us and popular for over 40 years in show business....he has been able to shine a bright light on an often misunderstood state of ones gender identity and to show that these are just people...like you and I...who have the right to life... liberty and the pursuit of happiness.....

    curtsies and exits stage left...

The Book Of Mormon is up for the most awards....

this musical was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone...the creators of South Park...its controversial...and I hear it is hilarious.....

NPH Said they r having a hard time choosing songs for tonight that won't get censored...

Here is an interview with them...

  28. Shirley Thank you. Still not packed. Guess I better get my meds together. My stomach is in knots about this trip.

Plus, Custard's fire crew is on two week rotations to go fight the Wallow fire. He is to deploy 2 weeks from tomorrow. I wonder what the chances are that that evil fire will be under control by then.
