Before I go to bed, I turn the TV on to one of the music stations and set it to turn off after an hour. One night I heard this song just as I was dozing off and thought...who it this? It sounded kinda like the Bee Gee's! I had to look to see who it was. The Scissor Sisters (yes, I know what it means and what they're about....go ahead and wiki) is my new favorite band and I love this song!~
Good Moaning~
ReplyDeleteomg! LOVE this song~ :)~

TINA: Good Moanin' Gorgeous! Well I learned two new things this morning and my eyes are barely open! One is this song..I've never heard it before..and I like it! The other I had to google..the name of the band..didn't know that either! Sometimes I feel so old..lol..
ReplyDeleteThank you TINA for keepin' me up to date on terms and tunes! :D
Good Morning beautiful SHIRLEY! Don't hurt your feets..there's always tomorrow! :)
Getting ready to go see a man about a Lantern..I've always been intrigued about the things that ring could make.. ;)
Have a good day everyone!
I will google these people later, but they do sound like the BeeGee's. I love it!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning everyone have a peaceful Sunday!
Good morning! Enjoyable video..loved the song... Very fun and yes, sounds like the BeeGees!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Shirley...lol at your tantrum.
Good morning Zona. I don't understand what you mean about "going to see a man about a lantern"..totally clueless. Just FYI, I played Sinatra this morning on Facebook! :)
Good morning iteach I hope you are having a great Sunday. I am taking a lazy day..and it feels nice.
Good Morning Tina, Shirley, Zona, Iteach and Bebbi.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday to one and all. I love Sundays.
Tina - I am sorry. I guess I am too old to appreciate this song. I will ask Zona what it all means.
ReplyDeleteShirley - I hope your feet aren't sore from stomping. You have to get up awfully early to beat Tina.
ReplyDeleteIteach - Are you on holidays now? Our kids get out on the last day of June.
ReplyDeleteZona - I really think you and Mr. Z should spend the summers with Jack and me. It its gorgeous on our deck this morning. The birds are singing. The sun is shining and the lovely smell of the Mock Orange tree is drifting up here. It will be 80 degrees here today, a perfect summer day. Our guest room is ready for you.
ReplyDeleteBebbi - I love the songs you leave on Facebook. I will go over and listen to Frank Sinatra when I finish being tedious here.
ReplyDeleteJust_Lin - ((((Hugs)))). Thinking of you my dear.
ReplyDeleteSorry I have been MIA lately. We just found out this week that my sister's oldest girl (my favourite niece) has been diagnosed with cancer and is having it removed on Tuesday. I have been so upset about it that I have been burying myself in my farms so as not to think about it. Any prayers will be appreciated. We can't lose her too. She looks and acts exactly like my sister did. We are very close. I hate Cancer so much.

ReplyDeleteMy delete, sorry. My comment wouldn't post and then it posted twice. Have a great day everyone. I can smell bacon cooking so I guess Jack has breakfast almost ready. I love being spoiled.
ReplyDeleteTinka, very sorry to hear about that! I hope they got it all.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pride Day, everybody! For the first time in over a decade, Huz and I are actually going to the San Francisco parade, and in a New York frame of mind!
Zona: LOL! Thank goodness for Randy! That was one of the funniest SNL skits evah!
Whabbear - Thanks I hope they will get it all too. The two MRI's she had told us it hasn't gone to the lymph nodes so we are hopeful. She is 54 and it seems like yesterday she was a toddler.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday Owls.
ReplyDeleteTina, I like this song. Taking a page from Zona's book, I had to Google, too. Very interesting, but I feel really old...ok, I AM old.
Shirley, almost....
ReplyDeleteWaving a wing to all the Owls. I hope you all have a good day.

ReplyDeleteMy mom is on her way over this afternoon to help me hang up pictures. I bought new pics. to hang up in the living room, found them at Kohls.
ReplyDeleteFor the past year I have been adding or removing items from each room to make this "my" house. It seems to help a lot with the healing process.
Kathy, let me know what you think of the Green Lantern. Matthew wants to see it, but I think it is PG-13. I told him maybe on DVD.
ReplyDeleteTinka, Yes, I have been out since June 1st, and lovin it!
ReplyDeleteTinka, I am so sorry to hear about your niece. I prayed for her and your family in Church this morning.
ReplyDeleteTinka I'm sorry to hear about your niece. I hope everything goes well for her. ((((HUGS))))
ReplyDeleteTina Well not only are you the prettiest today but you also chose a great song for today's music video. It was a very catchy tune. I was a little confused at first because in my mind I was thinking "Twisted Sister". LOL
ReplyDeleteTinka I'm so sorry about your niece. I will be including her in my prayers. I hate that damn cancer, too.
ReplyDeleteShirley Gee, with all that stomping, you aren't going to win Miss Congeniality, either. ;)
ReplyDeleteiteach Yes, changing things around in the house can help. You will be making new memories in your new surroundings.
ReplyDeleteZona How did you like the movie?
ReplyDeleteBebbi It is the day of rest, right? I had a nice day having lunch with a few of my step-kids. We had lunch at my step-daughter's home down in Butano, which is in the redwoods. It was fun and relaxing.
ReplyDeleteSacBarb How are your eyelids today? And you're not that old. Crap, you just got tattoos! :)
ReplyDeleteJ/L, My eyes are getting better every day. Just a little swollen yet. We have an appointment to go back in 5 weeks for a 'touch-up' if needed. We plan on keeping the appointment.
