  7. Morning Glories!

Iteach I am so happy for you. It is so hard for people to understand what happens in depression and it can take time to get back to where we are our old selves. In group I learned with every depression I slide into it will be deeper and take longer for me to pull out of it, but we will get our old selves back if we work at it.

    Sending you Happy Hugs!!!

    Waving at Zona and Bebbi!

  15. iteach Thank you for the blog. That's wonderful that you are getting back to those things you enjoy. I have tons of scrapping stuff but haven't felt inspired to get it out. I wish I had a bigger house so I could have one room set up just to do that kind of stuff. I enjoyed it when I did it but thinking about getting it all out and then putting it all away again is kind of daunting.

  16. Zona What's your plan for the day? Swimming? My brother in SoCal used to swim laps every day in Mom's pool but now that there are duckling using it, not so much. While I was there, he was swimming laps on the far side of the pool from where the ducks were, and Mama Duck suddenly attacked his head, beating him with her wings and trying to peck him. It was funny to see. He's decided to forego that part of his exercise routine until the ducklings get flying feathers and leave to go wherever the mother's main body of water is.

  18. Michael What a moving blow by blow of your, uh, movement. Funny thing....I just got out of the bathroom, too. Thanks for using the air spray.....not!

  19. HOdi Ah, you were in the bathroom, too? Well, I guess that was quite a while ago now. When my husband was stationed in Japan for a bit, long ago, he used a public restroom and was surprised to see that it was basically a hole in the ground with a pole stationed next to it so hold onto to keep your balance, help you get back up after squatting, etc. Anyway, he was squatting and doing his business when a petite little Japanese woman came in and squatted over the hole next to him. He was shocked and kind of clammed up. What is the etiquette, I wonder. Would one introduce themselves or just pretend like you're alone?

  22. In Japan...you never go into a public restroom without a supply of "chuugi" to offer your neighbor...

    ReplyDelete
  23. SLIN - Oh that's quite a dilemma...I guess I would just pretend I was alone!!

TINA - Waving back attcha! Did you get the email(s) I sent?

MICHAEL - Thanks for the etiquette lesson ♥

  25. J/L...?

If you let go of the pole to shake hands wouldn't you fall on the hole?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Michael I think the most you'd want to do is nod and smile, maybe. Actually, I think I'd just try to pretend I was alone. There is no way, though, that I could have a BM with someone squatting next to me, nor would I want to be present if that's what they were doing. I'd probably end up constipated. That story took place many, many years ago so maybe they don't have that kind of restrooms any more.....one can always hope.
