Just some random pictures of my trip to Daytona Beach.
Bridge to the race track. |
Dale Earnhardt statue in front of the Daytona speedway museum. |
I used to be able to get a lot closer to the track without taking the tour. I guess they are concerned about stalkers now...imagine that!!! |
Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. |
Daytona Beach. It was so freaking windy. |
These two birds cracked me up. They were playing....or fighting....or somethin' else altogether~ |
And I wore my dang freaking crocs!!! Ga!!!! I thought I'd never utter those werds~ |
Good Morning!!
ReplyDeleteTINA: I'm sorry..I'll have to come back and look at the rest of the pics in a bit..after I get over the fact that you were wearing...CROCS!! ;D
fascinating...simply fascinating....
ReplyDeletethey finally have said what killed Amy Winehouse...
ReplyDeleteA ruling delivered Wednesday by a coroner in Britain, Suzanne Greenaway, said the official cause of Ms. Winehouse’s death was “death by misadventure,” The Associated Press reported. Reuters reported that an inquest found that the singer had 416 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood when she died; the legal driving limit in Britain is 80 milligrams.
seems like a great deal of booze...
Morning Zona and Michael!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures Tina! I think those two birds were probably having a domestic dispute. Maybe it was Birdee and Mr. Birdee! Did you stop and ask?
Good Morning Zona, Michael and Shirley. Hope you are having a lovely Fall day. At least Zona I hope you don't go over 90 degrees. It is almost 8:30 but it still seems a bit dark. I will be glad when we go back an hour.
ReplyDeleteNothing new to report here so I will just say. "Have Fun Today".
Tina - I loved your pictures. It looks like you are having a great holiday.

Zona Congrats on being first and the prettiest in the land. Yes, Tina wearing Crocs! What is the world coming to?
ReplyDeleteMichael Yes, that does seem like a lot of alcohol.....well, apparently it was, judging by the results. She basically poisoned herself.
ReplyDeleteShirley I bet you're right! It probably was Birdee and Mr. Birdee arguing about if those were really Crocs or not on Tina's feet.
ReplyDeleteTinka Nothing new here, either, except my back hurts. I'm supposed to go to a Zumba class this evening that they are holding at the Curves that I go to. I'll have to see how my back is by then.
ReplyDeleteTina Thanks for the pics. Too bad you can't wander around the race track area like you used to. Maybe they heard about you and your Crocs. What in the world made you change your mind about them, anyway? At least they don't look plastic. What are they made of?
ReplyDeleteTina is wearing the Crocs™ Surrey in espresso.

ReplyDeleteMichael -Thanks for the linek. I will get that song. I have never heard of it before you posted it.
ReplyDeleteHi Just_Lin - I hope you make it to your class. Sorry about your sore back. I have the same decision to make. Tomorrow is my water therapy day and I have aches and pains from yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI keep telling myself "No pain, No gain" but I am not sure I believe it.
Just checking the blog and see that I thanked Michael for the linek. I do know how to spell "link". A gremlin must have changed it. LOL

ReplyDeleteTerrible storm and day today. A large portion of my brothers house burned down from a tree hitting a power line that fell on the house. Over 75000 damage and won't be able to live there for six to eight months. My heart is hurting for them
