This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
Merry Christmas Eve owls! I have been thinking about each of you this past few weeks. I have received some beautiful cards and I really have enjoyed them.
I am starting to crawl out of the hole I have been in most of the year. Enough that I have been contemplating writing some blogs. Progress slow progress but still....
Good Morning Shirley - I know what you mean. The houses that are decorated are lovely. The trouble is you can't drive down your street if there are a lot of beautifully decorated houses because it's full of cars slowly driving by. I do love to drive around and see them however. I heard a man on TV talking about the thousands of lights on his home. It takes about 3 months of work and his light bill is 5 thousand dollars for Dec. I think I will stick with what we have and drive by the winners of the decoration contest.
TINA: Love the vid..it's very cool!! Randy would do that to our house in a heartbeat if I gave the ok..which I won't..ours is decorated enough as it is! :D
DI: Congrats on FIRST pretty lady! Come ona my house..we have lights..and music..and music and lights..js.. ;D
TINKA: Our street isn't even decorated that much..I mean not anything like the vid..and we get so much traffic..even buses! It's crazy!
LYNN: I'm so glad you're feeling better!
SHIRLEY: We'd turn the music down for you if you lived next door.. :)
Gotta run..we're having perogies for dinner and I'm late getting the filling made..
Have a wonderful Christmas Eve everyone..if you're travelling today..please be safe! :)
Tina Thanks for the blog. That was really cool. My husband used to put lights up outside the house but the most I can muster these days is to get a wreath on the door.
I wasn't dreaming of a wet Christmas but thats what we have...cold and rain...
Zona....who are the Perogies...is that tribe native to Arizona? Its nice to mix Christmas traditions!
I am on the list of a progressive party houses starting at 4pm. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Mostly people who don't have family here...some that do...lol They started at 2pm so the who ever shows up should be well into the Christmas spirit...
I might even have a little tequila..
Looking forward to a quite house later so Belle and I can cozy up and watching the last 3 episodes of Survivor...
I hope you all have a nice Christmas Eve...
and remember...the flower trip depends on the lottery tonight!
And just so you know Maureen...if we go...no need to snap ur fingers at me....just glance at your luggage and that will be my que....I'm well trained...
Lynn My bad for missing you earlier. I haven't quite been myself lately. Let's chalk it up to that. I'm glad you are feeling better. I've been better today, too.
Tina I knew what you meant. Maybe it meant the kind of hug that people sometimes do where they stick their butts out to make sure their torsos don't actually touch each other. LOL
Good morning and happy Christmas Eve to everyone
