The difference between Grandpas and Grandmas

by Dianne

Have you ever wondered what the difference is between grandmothers and grandfathers? Well, here it is:

There was this loving grandfather who always made a special effort to spend time with his daughter's family on weekends. Every Saturday morning he would take his 7-year-old granddaughter out for a drive in the car for some quality time--just him and his granddaughter. One particular Saturday, however, he had a bad cold and really didn't feel like being up at all. He knew his granddaughter always looked forward to their drives and would be disappointed. Luckily, his wife came to the rescue and said that she would take their granddaughter for the drive. When they returned, the little girl anxiously ran upstairs to see her grandfather, who was still in bed. "Well, did you enjoy your ride with Grandma?" he asked. "Oh,yes, Pap Pap, it was really wonderful. We didn't see a single asshole, piece of crap, horse's ass, blind bastard, dip shit, or son of a bitch anywhere we went!" Almost brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?

  3. Jack feels fine this morning but he is going to do nothing for the rest of the week, (if I have to tie him to a chair). I feel like I have been hit by a truck. I guess it's the stress of the last few days. I ache from head to toe. But enough about me, how are all you owls this morning? Are you feeling the "let down after holiday blues"?

  5. Good morning ladies....

Zona...I thought that chair was perfect for Tinka too. Its by MacKenzie Childs and its called the "Aria" chair and ottoman. Those 2 pieces and the "Toulouse Goose" table make a lovely statement for just under $12,000.00!! The pillow is available separately for $410.00.

    Shirleys chair is tomorrow!!

  6. Michael - I am sorry. I didn't realize your avatar was my chair today. When I read Zona's comment I quickly made the avatar bigger so I could see it. It is lovely and oh so comfortable. I think that's Tia who is sleeping on the footstool. Thanks for thinking of me. I need a boost today and you gave it to me.

Good Morning Zona - Please send your sunny weather here. I am sick of the wind and rain. If we could we would jump on the next jet and camp out in your backyard or maybe your guest room is still waiting for us. One of these days ------

  9. Shirley Well, that was a quick entrance and exit. What gives? Are you angry that we didn't offer to help clean up after the NYE party?
