Apology letter -Hi Sweetheart,
I am sorry about getting into an argument about putting up the Christmas lights.
I guess that sometimes I feel like you are pushing me too hard when you want something.
I realize that I was wrong and I am apologizing for being such a hard-headed guy.
All I want is for you to be happy and be able to enjoy the holiday season.
Nothing brightens the Christmas spirit like Christmas lights!
I took the time to hang the lights for you today and now I will be off to the hockey rink.
Again, I am very sorry for the way I acted yesterday.
I'll be home later.
Love you;
Her response
Hi Honey,
Thank you for that heart-felt apology. I don't often get an apology from you, and I truly appreciate it.
I, too, felt bad about the argument and wanted to apologize. I realize that I can sometimes be a little pushy. I will try to respect your feelings from now on.
Thank you for taking the time to hang the Christmas lights for me. It really means a lot.
In the spirit of giving, I washed your truck for you and now I am off to the mall.
I love you too!
Splat!!

ReplyDeletehere is a portion of a famous song. Can you name this tune?
ReplyDeleteShe danced new dances now and then.
The sort that make you blush.
Each time she did them, scores of men
Got injured in the rush.
They'd stand there gaping in a line,
And watch her agitate her spine.
It simply use to knock them flat,
When she went like this and then like that.
At dancing Cleopatterer,
Was always on the spot.
She gave these poor Egyptian ginks,
Something else to watch besides the spinx.
Marc Antony admitted,
That what first made him skid,
Was the wibbly, wobbly, wiggly dance,
That Cleopatterer did.
Good Morning!!
ReplyDeleteDI: Cute joke..the first pic cracked me up..thanks for the giggles! :)
SHIRLEY: HA! Nope..not us..you can tell because they didn't sign the notes.. 'love you..forever' oh..and it would be a T-bird..not a truck..hehehe.. ;D

ReplyDeleteShirley Good morning, Sunshine. You are looking bright and beautiful today.
ReplyDeleteShirley, Splat back at ya, sunshine.
ReplyDeleteMichael, I didn't recognize those lyrics and I had to Google it too. It had quite an impressive cast. I may have to watch it soon.
Zona, LOL You are way too practical to ever do that to any vehicle!
Good morning J/L. We were typing at the same time. I hope you're having a nice sunshiney day!
ReplyDeleteMichael Okay, I had to Google the lyrics, too. It still isn't familiar to me. I guess it was before my time. :)
ReplyDeleteZona I hope your computer is kind to you today.
ReplyDeleteSacBarb I hope you are doing better every day.
ReplyDeleteDianne Thanks for the blog. Hoping Louis is doing well today. What a relief to have the surgery over with, right?
ReplyDeleteSacBarb Waving a wing at you!
ReplyDeletethe song is "Cleopatterer"..
ReplyDeleteI was looking over the songs from "Little Mary Sunshine"... they are all based on earlier songs...
and "Mata Hari" was based on this one...
Anyway....I love Little Mary Sunshine.....
Back in the 80's our local theater group was called Stage Center. My dear friend Wanda Daisa headed the whole thing up and the productions were always great fun!
Well! They did LMS. This lady named carol was cast as LMS. Great voice...very comedic...made the show...After closing night as I gushed over her performance Wanda mentioned that she had heard that we were looking for a receptionists at the salon! Well it just so happened that LMS was in need of a job! I know! Exciting...right?
So I told Lisa about her and she came in for an interview...she was short and dumpy but looked great at her interview and certainly seemed to be exactly what the doctor ordered and was asked to start the very next day!
That woman came to work in a western costume with a fringed vest and skirt...six guns and all! Turquoise tiny cowgirl boots and a tiny cowboy hat perched on her head like the ones Blaine Merriweather used to wear on "In Living Color!"
It was over before it ever started....lol
Michael LMAO!! "Two snaps up!"
