  1. A photo! A photo? Thats it?

When there are so many things to say about our country?

Like Betsy Ross... according to legend...sewed the first American flag in May or June 1776, as commissioned by the Congressional Committee!! And that fact that she was in a hurry to add the finishing touches before the celebration and sewed the flag to her dress which was stripped off her body when the flag was hoisted!!
Several of the politicos wanted to change the name to "HUBBA HUBBA DAY" Day but cooler heads prevailed (Democrats) and it remained Independence Day....

...just a little independence day trivia...

  2. Michael LMAO! From that day forward, she was known by her friends as "Boobsy" Ross.

Michael, You have to admit, it is a beautiful photo.

    J/L, LOL @ Boobsy.

I have no big plans. Just hanging around the house and reading my book. Have a great day everyone.

  4. SacBarb Happy 4th to you, too. I got my car serviced today and they said it's in excellent condition. Yay! I'm ready to roll.

It already sounds like a war zone around here.

  5. Tina Thanks for the pretty pic today. I hope you are having a fabulous 4th of July on your cruise. Did they decorate the dining room accordingly?

  6. Happy 4th of July. We went gambling and lost money---as usual. It was very crowded at the casino today. The weather was 80 up there versus 93 down here. Now we will watch fireworks on TV.

Great picture Tina. I would imagine you are having a great time right now. Wish I was with you. I wonder if you are wishing I was with you too? Hmm

    Hi Michael, Just Lin, Barb.

  7. The dog is not liking the fireworks. Actually, she's okay with the fireworks, it's the damn bombs they keep setting off that has her very worried. She won't leave my side.
