Crocker Art Gallery and Museum

by Lynn D

The picture below was taken at the Crocker Art Gallery and Museum, when I went to Barb's last month. I would like everyone to take a stab at what this exhibit looks like to you.

Barb and J/L don't give it away. I will post the Gallery description at the end of the day. :)

  18. Evening Glories!

I wish Michael was here because I know he would have a few choice descriptions of these! LOL

Tina your welcome. I will try to work on more. :)

Now contrary to what we all think these might represent, The piece, oh excuse me exhibit was called:

    Devastation Trees
    By Toshiko Takaezu

Ms. Takaezu became known for her thin ceramic trunks,(;0),inspired by the scorched trees she had seen along the Devastation Trail in Hawaii's Volcano's National Park.

I have to say I am impressed that these were made with out of ceramics. They were quite long and large.
