This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
I love Pink, she could sing the phone book it would sound good.
I am typing on my laptop! Mr. Lynn D resurrected it! Yay! Lets hope it holds for at least another year. :)
Going to be a busy day today. We are taking the kids to the zoo and Angels tribe is going with us. Part of an early Bday present for Richard. This should be interesting. :)
TINA: Love this song! I was listening to it yesterday and came thisclose to sending it in for a Sunday blog..I told Randy you probably already had it queued up! I smiled and said 'AHA!!' when I saw it this morning! :D
LYNN: Hellllooo Gorgeous! Yay! Your laptop lives!! :D I agree with you..anything from PINK is terrific! Have fun today..did you take some B-12? I have a feeling you might need it! :D
It's going to be a nice day here today..I hope everyone else has a good one too! :)
t seems like Fall up here today. Yesterday we woke to sunshine and a warm 5th Wheel. Today it is cloudy so Jack put the furnace on for an hour to warm us up. The forecast is for sun again starting tomorrow.
This is our Anniversary of the first time Jack and I met. It's 50 years ago this week we were introduced at a Staff meeting at Riverside School in Terrace B.C. He was my Vice Principal and a great one at that. He was only 22 at the time. If you worked in the North of B.C. and you were an excellent teacher you could be Principal by the time you were 25. They were crying for teachers up North. Everyone coming out of Teachers' College wanted to work in Victoria or Vancouver and jobs were easy to come by. In those days you could be a teacher after only one year of training. Now it's 5 years of University and then you can't find a teaching position unless you go up North. I went North because I wanted a different experience and BY Golly I got one. Mind you I was only 6 at the time. I had to be didn't I Dianne? We got our University degrees by Summer School, Night School, and finally going back to UVic for our final years. It seems like yesterday but I guess it was a half century ago.
Tina - I will listen to the song when I get home. We keep all radios and T.V.'s off when we are here. The only sounds we hear are the birds and the aerators that that keep the fish oxygenated.
LynnD Have a super fun day. I hope there are no tears, drama, skinned knees, or other disasters that might afflict an outing with the little ones. I used to take my kids to the zoo quite often when they were little. Great memories.
Tina Thanks for the cool music today. I like Pink a lot. When I saw the title it made me think of the fact that my son, who has been doing a little part-time work acting as a bouncer at a local bar, has been approached to be bouncer at a bar in the city, a gay bar as I understand it or maybe they just have a gay night. Anyway, it is an after hours gig. He has no problem with gays but if he takes the job, he will have to tell people occasiionally that you can't give BJ's in here. Talk about AWKWARD!
Good Evening Everyone: here I am laying in bed with knee propped watching broncos eating a subway sandwich. My life is beyond exciting!!!! Our first game with Peyton Manning so Broncomfans are pretty darn excited.
Tink: Happy Anniversary for your meeting with jack. You must have met in the nursery at the hospital being 40 already. Farm sounds nice. I have a complete visual of it and you relaxing there.
Lynn: glad your husband got your laptop up,and running for you. I would hate to be without my iPad too.
JL: well, that sounds like an interesting job your son is looking into. Tell him I say "no" as I don't want someone throwing a punch at him. I'm sure he will listen to me.
Tina: I'm sure you will find it hard to believe that I too like Pink. I like her on Ellen so therefore, I like her music. I still like the Barry manilow kind of music too. :)
Hi Zona: don't want to interrupt you while you are watching the Bronco game and cheering them on to victory---I can't hear you!!!!
Dianne Last night at the bar where my son was acting as bouncer, they had a bunch of Hell's Angels come in. Everybody was cool, though, and no problems.
I had a Subway sandwich for dinner tonight. I guess we both like to cook the same things. LOL
Morning Glories!

Good Morning Lynn - It's great you have your lap top for another year. It's seems like every time we turn around it's another expense.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Zona-My-Baby - I am happy your weather is cooling off. I was afraid you may melt away and what would I do without you?
