This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!

Titanium x Viva La Vida
by Zona
I found this while be-boppin' around youtube last week..I just love it..I hope you like it too.
Zona, That was beautifully done. I am so envious of people who can play an instrument. I made all my boys take music lessons but none of them play now. What a waste! Maybe someday they will pick it up again.
Lynn, Love that last pic you painted. Are you going to continue our lessons?
Dianne, I hope you are doing better today. At least there is football you can watch to distract you.
Today has been a better day. My friend Barb came to visit and we had pizza and pumpkin pie. Tammy and family will be here soon. I'm missing my nap today but that's okay----glad to have company. I even hobbled without my walker a time or two. Once I get up and get going I can move some. I'm thinking of trying no meds and go to my pt work at least a day this week. I seriously cannot lay here for the next 24 days!!! Ok, enough about me.
Zona, that guy looked so happy playing and yes, I really watched it. Are you wide awake today?
Barb, my daughter played the flute for years. Of course that went aside many moons ago. My son was busy playing football for his whole life and now coaches one of his sons teams. Doesnt get out of his blood.
Lynn: you're not going with your husband this time? It's nice you can travel with him.
Hi Tina:: I saw you were eating guacamole and chips last night. Yum, that sounds good along with a marg.
Bronco game on tomorrow night so that will keep me busy for the night.
LynnD Are you not going with Mr. LynnD this time? My day hasn't been exciting, either. Currently doing laundry, watering the back lawn, and doing general cleanup around here now that the kiddos have left.
SacBarb How's the weather up there? It was rather cool and overcast today. My body is going to go into shock when I fly down to southern California on Wednesday.
Dianne I'm glad you had a visitor today to break up the monotony and keep your mind off of your knee. Maybe another surgery will get cancelled and you'll be moved up even sooner. That would be nice. I'll root for your Broncos as long as they aren't playing the 49ers. ;)
JL: we r playing the Atlanta Falcons so you can root for us. Are you going on vacation? How long are you going? Can you drop by here for lunch? I'm right on the way. Yes, it would be nice if things moved along a little quicker.
We are supposed to have a cool front tomorrow. I think in the 70-80's. Nice if I can get out in it and Im damned sure going to try!!! Goal for the week.
We need to find a blog with that guy that dances The Horse dance. I think his name is Psy. I don't know how you find those things. He was on Ellen and the Today.
Loved the vid Zona! Oh to have such talent. I love the sound of the violin with the flute. I have a few cds for relaxation with the sound of the sea, flute & Violin. Now I need to check in on you. I hope you are ok1 Waving Monday goodbye and hello to Monday. Have a great week all!
Dianne I'm sorry I can't swing over to Colorado and have lunch with you. Maybe when you have a new knee we can plan a get together. That would be fun. I am leaving on Wednesday to go spend a week with my brother in southern California. He will be turning 60 on the 21st.
I love both these songs....and he didn't do too bad himself....lol ~
ReplyDeleteMorning Glories!
ReplyDeleteZona I totally enjoyed that. It is such a pleasure watching someone play who seems to love what they are doing. Thank you for sharing.
Dianne I am glad they moved your surgery up. I feel for you stuck in bed. Hang in there!
Not much going on here today. I have to get Mr. Lynn D ready to go back to Vancouver and he plans on watching the Seahawks. So exciting. lol

ReplyDeleteZona Spinning when you don't want to is no fun at all. Hopefully, you just need a good night's sleep.
ReplyDeleteMary Hope you have a great week, too. It's alarming how fast the weeks fly by as I get older.
