AMAZINGLY SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES

by Sac Barb

I checked these out on Snoops and it's for real!

1. AVOID CUTTING YOURSELF WHEN SLICING VEGETABLES BY GETTING SOMEONE ELSE TO HOLD THE VEGETABLES WHILE YOU CHOP.

2. (FOR MEN ONLY) AVOID ARGUMENTS WITH THE FEMALES ABOUT LIFTING THE TOILET SEAT BY USING THE SINK.

3. FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUFFERERS ~ SIMPLY CUT YOURSELF AND BLEED FOR A
FEW MINUTES, THUS REDUCING THE PRESSURE ON YOUR VEINS. REMEMBER TO USE A TIMER.

4. A MOUSE TRAP PLACED ON TOP OF YOUR ALARM CLOCK WILL
PREVENT YOU FROM ROLLING OVER AND GOING BACK TO SLEEP AFTER YOU HIT THE SNOOZE BUTTON.

5. IF YOU HAVE A BAD COUGH, TAKE A LARGE DOSE OF LAXATIVES. THEN YOU'LL BE AFRAID TO COUGH.

6. YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

7. IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

DAILY THOUGHT:

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING, BUT THEY BRING
A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS

  2. LynnD Good morning! Looks like it's just you and I. Think we can eat all the donuts and no one will know? You're looking really cute today, by the way. It's gray out today, maybe rain coming? It feels like fall.

  4. Speaking of fall......Yesterday, my son and I heard a loud noise in the back yard and looked out to see the top third of a tall rotted out tree truck in my neighbor's yard had fallen and landed in my yard. Since this is my "weird" neighbor, my son called the cops to have the incident documented. The neighbor says he will make arrangements to get it removed from my yard. Our dog, Ursula, goes over to it periodically and barks at it. She was in the yard when it came crashing down so I'm thankful it didn't land on her.

  8. Did you all notice I checked all these out on SnOOps not Snopes? I have high blood pressure, but I don't think I'll try this tip.

It's actually raining in San Diego for the first time since April. Todd and I went to breakfast in LaJolla and ate outside and the rain started just as we finished. We walked along the path near the ocean til it started to rain harder. The seals were loving it.

  9. Lynn, you are looking lovely today.

J/L, I thought you were going to say Ursula went to the tree and peed on it. :-)

Zona, smiles for your electric bill.

Dianne, still thinking 'bout you and praying for a speedy recovery. I hope they are giving you some good drugs.

  12. SacBarb I forgot to thank you for the cute blog. I did notice you checked them out on Snoops! LOL

It sounds like you and your son had a nice morning and walk along the shoreline. I just looked out and see that my deck is very damp. I think it's just fog falling at this point.

  17. I may not be back until Wednesday night. This weekend we have family coming from Dayton, so I will be over there. Sunday is the unveiling of Nicky's headstone.
(Jewish people wait at least 6 months before putting a headstone on a grave)

And I have to stay at Sharon's Sunday night so we can watch the RHONJ reunion show!!

And since we are spending Tuesday together, I will just go back there after work on Monday.
