  1. Morning Glories!

    Very wise advice! Hoot Hoot

Dianne maybe you did wake up in Wisconsin. :)

J/L Yes I am still taking classes. I have another one this Saturday. I actually have a busy weekend, painting classes in the morning and then I am driving down to my Dads to check on him and his wife.

Sunday lunch with a good friend I have not seen in awhile and then in the afternoon I will head to my Aunts to check on her and my Uncle.

Seems like most days I am checking on or babysitting someone. :)

    Waving at everyone!

  2. Dianne, that fits all of us wise Owls.

Lynn, one way or the other, it's all like babysitting. Now I know why you need to get away to the beach occasionally.

Have a good day everyone. BBL

  3. DI: These are all good..but I have to admit..if I ever have to live off the land..I'm in big..big trouble.. ;D

I hope your appointment goes well today! :)

LYNN: You sure do have a busy weekend! I see that painting class as the well deserved rest in a whirlwind of activity..enjoy that creative respite! :)

BARB: I watched it! And I found it! Will wonders never cease..in both cases? :D

Happy Friday everyone! I'm off to be-bop and sock slide to some loud music..I think it's gonna be one of those kind of days! :)

  5. LynnD It sounds like a very busy weekend for you. My son and his new girlfriend (who is a doll!) are picking up the grandkids to bring over here. They are also bringing the new girlfriend's youngest son who is 9 and has never seen the ocean before. I think we are grilling something for dinner but not sure what yet.

  6. Dianne That was really cute. I'm with Zona. If I had to live off the land, I'd be really skinny. Hey, maybe that's the answer!

  7. Zona I missed Glazer donuts? Damn!

Be careful with that sock sliding!

  9. J/L, Not much going on this weekend, but I am going out to dinner with my sis, son, and DIL tonight. We are going to Olive Garden. Love their endless salad.

  10. Barb, they have a good special right now. Buy your dinner and then they give u a free one to take home. Can't beat that offer. I like their soup too.

Thanks for the comments today. Couldn't resist that owl saying for us.

Went to dr and had my staples taken out. Hurt a little. Dr wants me to straighten leg out more and more ice on leg/knee he seemed pleased with my recovery except I have to go back in two weeks to see how stretch is doing. I wasn't thrilled about that but can live with it. At this point, I'm at rehab until thurs at noon and then two weeks of home health care and then outside pt. I'll still be surprised if I'm driving by thanksgiving. I hope so as Louis goes to his moms that week.

  11. JL, glad your son has a girlfriend you like---that always helps. How fun for her child to get to see the ocean for the first time. Do they live in CA?

Lynn, sounds like you have a very busy weekend. I think it's always fun to have plans for the weekend.

Jodi, how was your Ohio trip and visiting family? Enjoyed your FB pictures.

Zona, no sock sliding. They say my rehab place is full as of today so be careful.

My GD goes to DC tomorrow for a school trip. It was almost canceled because of the hurricane but now they are going and taking rain gear. I hope the storm holds off for them. Never mind ---she just called me trip is canceled. It's been planned for a dang year---stupid weather. I hate to hear her so disappointed.
