~ When Reindeers Attack! ~

by Tina~in_ut

My twins wanted me to see a video of a kid from their school. He was long boarding up in the mountains and gets taken out by a deer. The next day they wanted to show me that the video went viral. Take a look. That kid had to be really banged up~

  2. Dianne Good luck at the doctor appointment. You look pretty all spiffed up.

  3. Tina That looked more like a collision than an attack. I'm sure that kid was banged up pretty good. If it would have been an actual attack it would have been even worse because deer can be relentless with those hooves.

  4. Oh, that looks terrible in the video. I hope he wasn't hurt too much

Our city is pretty much shutting down hwys, etc., for the big debate tonight. Most companies closed early as the main hwy is closing at 5pm until 10pm. Glad I don't have to drive in it.

Just came home from dr after a four hour appt boy, are they thorough. I think I'm ready for surgery physically anyway. I think they are going to try and work home health care for me for two weeks.

I'm sure tired this afternoon but can't even take a nap right now as we have yet another appt.

Hi JL. How ya' do in' today?

  6. I couldn't open the video, but I saw this on a news show and couldn't believe it. I think they said the kid was pretty bruised.

Dianne, I know you are going to come through this surgery with flying colors with all the prayers that are going up for you.

J/L, I heard it was really hot in SF yesterday. Does that mean Pacifica was hot too? Our weather is supposed to cool down next week, just in time for me to be in San Diego. Hopefully it will mean that we will actually have fall weather until December.

Dean is here to move my refrigerator so I can clean under it before the new one comes tomorrow. I REALLY need to clean under it more often. YUCK!!!

  7. SacBarb It was hot here, too. Today was warm and beautiful but not as hot as yesterday. Last night my thermometer indicated that it was 80 in the house. I opened windows and it felt much better in a short while.

Oh, yeah. Under the refrigerator. I tend to forget about that. Out of sight, out of mind, right?

  8. Dianne I am doing fine, thank you. Boy, that was a loooong doctor appointment you had today. No wonder you were tired. That would be great if they can get you some follow-up care at home after the surgery.

  9. JL, 80 inside would be too hot for me. Do you have air conditioning or is it too normally cool there? I couldn't be without it.

Yes, I was there for a long time. I hope I can have the home care. They wouldn't go for rehab because I have a person at home and a ranch house. I'm okay with that if I have some help. Louis is a good nurse. We take turns.

  10. DIANNE...you will do just fine. And if you have a Home Care agency even half as good as ours you will be up and about in no time. Lots of prayers being sent your way.

We are having a bit of a warm spell here, too. And HUMID!

  12. Sorry DIANNE, we go west but not that far west!

  13. Dianne No air conditioning. I would only need it once or twice a year, maybe. When I was recently down in southern California it was in the high 90's so having it be 80 in my house the other night was really not that big of a deal.
