~ Help Wanted ~

by Tina~in_ut

So....who wants to take over posting the blog everyday? I'm ready to pass the baton. I've been ready. I only kept it up this long for Michael. The hubby wants me to pass it on to someone else, too. I don't mind helping someone else with is, but it's just too much for me to keep up with. So who's it gonna be?!~

  1. Good morning HOoters!! I wouldn't mind helping, but don't think I could do it alone.

  2. Is everyone still in a turkey coma? Ha!!

  3. Heading out today to get my nails did. Hoping my gal is back. She was in the hospital last week with a Lupus flare up ♥

  4. Good Morning Jodi - You look lovely in first place. Did you have a great turkey dinner yesterday? I was thinking of all of you and feeling a little left out.

Hope your friend is back and well.

Happy Black Friday to all owls.

I nominate Just_Lin with Jodi as a helper. I don't think we need a blog everyday. We proved that. We do need a marker like a song or even a Title so the numbers start from #1 instead of #492. It's not easy to scroll through three pages to see where we left off. OK who is going to second my motion to nominate Just_Lin/Jodi?

  5. TINKA - I agree!! A weekly, or twice weekly blog would b fine with me. But I already nominated ZONA!!!

  6. TINKA - Thanksgiving was lovely. Work was crazy in the morning, though. I really enjoyed our time at my Aunt Jane's house. When they went around the table and asked what I was thankful for I said my friends that I made here. So, you really were not left out ♥

  7. Thank you Jodi. I am glad you had a lovely Thanksgiving.

Remember a nomination isn't an election. There may be more nominations yet or maybe even a volunteer, like perhaps Dianne. There are a lot of capable owls out there.

  8. Happy Black Friday. For the record, I am NOT going near a shopping mall today. Sharon and I were going to see the final Twilight movie today, but it's playing at the theater in the mall, so we are going Monday instead.

Tina, I am too tech challenged to take over the blog. I don't do much more than email, FB and read the blog. I have to have help putting pics on my FB page every time. Plus my computer is crappy. I don't play any of the games any more because it locks up every time. Too frustrating. I will help with supplying blogs, though.

My turkey breast was a success. I even made home made cranberry sauce and I used Splenda instead of sugar and didn't tell anyone. They must have liked it because it was almost all gone.

Gotta do some laundry and empty the dishwasher. Have a great day everyone. BBL

  9. Tinka, Dianne is a perfect nomination. She even has Louis who is a computer guru who can advise her.

  10. Nope, I'm very the challenged too. Just ask Tina about the blogs I send her....if there's pictures, forget it. I'm really good about sending blogs in to help but I decline the nomination.

Btw, Louis isn't the most patient instructor (at home) that I've ever met. :).

  11. Dianne Well, maybe if you buttered his biscuits once in a while....ijs.

  12. I second the nomination for Zona! I'm not super computer savvy and there's no second person here to help me out. I think Zona would do a great job and if she has trouble with the computer, Randy could help her, right?

Maybe we should start a tradition where the blog master only holds the position for one year at a time.

  13. SacBarb I realized last night that even though I only cooked for myself this year, I made the same mess in the kitchen. :(

  14. HOdi I am kind of in a turkey coma, truth be told. Plus the physical therapist has me doing a bunch of exercises twice daily and I feel like I've been hit by a truck.

  15. Tinka I was thinking that a comment entry of line after line of capital X's would be a quick visual cue that a new day was starting.

  16. Tina, will you keep doing it if we only do a blog a week? I think that's good for all of us and it would take the pressure off you othe every day thing. I think withnallmof us sending in blogs to you, you would always have one available please?

  17. Tina, I don't blame you for wanting to step away from setting up the blogs. It is a lot of work especially with a full time job!
I wonder if you could just set one up a month.
We are good at talking amongst ourselves. No fancy vids or big topics. We can supply that ourselves as we comment.Just blog something like, It's Dec. I am fucking tired, now go at it!: LOL!"

I don't have trouble finding the last comment..First I just click at the top of the first page where it says "NEWEST comments" then I look for my avatar so I know where i last commented and go from there.
If that doesn't sound good, then I nominate anyone but me :)

  18. hmmmmmm~ Somehow I knew it would end up like this~ I was hoping J/L~ would take over~ Kathy refuses to do it~ Dianne would lose the blog...that's not a put down...it's a fact~ :)~ I wasn't sure about anyone else~ Where the hell is Carol?!~

    I have to go chopping~

    ReplyDelete
  19. I wouldn't exactly lose it, it might just be somewhere that we can't find

    ReplyDelete
  20. TINA - I would totally consider it, especially if it was only once or twice a week

  21. MARY - "It's Dec. I am fucking tired, now go at it!".....works for me!!!

  22. Long ass day...heading to bed. Will check in when I get up. Working til noon, then Paul and I are heading down by LOIS's. Big fundraiser for a kid that dove into a river in June and is now a quadriplegic. He just came home this last week. Only 20 years old. I've met his Aunt and a cousin. Super great people!!

  24. Tina I'm thinking it over but I was hoping to have less responsibilites in my life now that I'm OLD. I don't email with many people so I don't even see many jokes that can be used as blogs. I'm kind of a hermit. But don't confuse that with a troll. I don't hide under a bridge. LOL

  25. SLIN - Thank you! She is such a good writer! I like the pic you ended up with. Totally pops ♥
