This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
TINA: I liked all of the ones you posted..my fave was the Bud commercial..and then the Coke one. The Big Bang spot made me laugh! I think a lot of people watch the Super Bowl more for the commercials then the game..I know that I do. :D
LYNN: Have a wonderful..relaxing time at the beach..paint paint paint!! :)
JODI: What are you guys planning for today? Do we need to contribute more to the bail fund yet? ;)
Zona, you are bee-you-tee-ful. My fave commercial was none of the above, but the Tide commercial with the Montana stain on the husband's 49er Jersey. The wife washes the stain out with Tide and whispers "Go Raiders." Ha!
Tinka, I hope you will be able to have the surgery to correct your vision. (((HUGS)))
I missed some of the commercials and part of the game because there was some excitement outside my house and I watched it all through my front window. Three cop cars and an evidence van were parked in front of my house. The house next door to me is vacant and some homeless people have taken up residence in tents there. It's a long story, but the short of it is the owner has let them stay there and even gave them a key to his house so they could use the bathroom. He is a complete idiot. A lot of neighbors have complained to him and the Sheriff's department and finally they came out yesterday. They didn't do much, but arrest one of the women because they found drugs on her. I guess since the owner gave them permission, the cops can't do anything about it. It started with only one person and now I don't know how many are living there, but they have three tents. The neighbors and I are NOT happy.
Zona, you look brilliantly bright at first today. Quite chatty too. :) that's nice early in the morning. You all know what kind of a morning person I am.
Barb, sounds like you sure had some excitement around you yesterday. I wouldn't be happy with tent people living next door to me either. The owner sounds crazy. It seems like there should be some rule about that going on.
Jodi and Mary, did you have fun on your lunch cruise? Did you see any whales? It sure sounds and looks like fun. What's on tap for tonight?
Tink, it's sure nice to see you. I miss you. Hope the dr can help you.
Tina, thanks for the blog. I think I liked the Tide one best too. Actually, I didn't think any were too memorable this year. I loved half time though and it was a good game.
DIANNE - The cruise was great. Saw a couple of whale tails, and some very playful dolphins jumping just in front if our boat! Lunch was delicious!
SLIN didn't want to be the one to pick where we have dinner tonight. My suggestion is to watch the sunset at Waikiki Beach. It will be LOIS' and my last night with het. I thought it would be a great way to spend part of our night.
LOIS and I are heading to Kauai tomorrow for 2 nights. Going to visit my friend Angie!
Good Morning!

ReplyDeleteLYNN: Oooops..enjoy your time in Vancouver..good gosh..I think I need to go back to bed..lol..
ReplyDeleteFor like a week... ;)
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Zona - You are on fire today. I hope you are feeling well. I will wait to hear about your weekend.
ReplyDeleteI will watch the commercials after I give Tia her insulin shot and phone Jack. His ferry is just landing in Vancouver. He will be home by seven.
I am continuing to use my eyes as little as possible. No reading and very little writing. Surgery is possible but I will know in a few weeks.
Canada doesn't get the good commercials so it will be fun watching them all.
Wishing every owl a wonderful day.

Sorry for the rant!
I also liked the Big Bang Theory commercial because I LOVE that show. I guess it was my second fave.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting these Tina because the only one I saw yesterday was the Bud.
TINA - Love the Bud commercial, but the Dodge Ram one really touched my heart. What a nice tribute to the hard working farmers!
ReplyDeleteZONA - Getting ready to go out on a lunch cruise. Hoping to spot whales!!
ReplyDeleteWaving a wing at TINKA and BARB :)
ReplyDeleteI will report back later on what we see!!
