It was a beautiful day here in Mich. We took a big leap and pulled out the patio furniture :) I am sure it will snow again, but hopefully no blizzards!!!

JL, I hope you changed your clocks! :)
Seems like I am always running behind!

My G.M. co-workers were going to meet for lunch at the Red Lobster in Lansing. The dang thing caught on fire this week end! I was looking forward to it :(

  6. DIANNE - We've had a couple of days of glorious weather and it's suppose to last all week! I'm looking forward to having tomorrow off. Best part...Paul is going back to work and the boys will be in school!! Woot!! I'm hoping that we can go out for dinner tomorrow night as a family for my birthday. Tim has the night off, so we have to do it when he has off!

  9. Mary Yes, I did change my clocks. What I really need to do is change my attitude and make a conscious effort to eat less calories. Easier said than done. I am getting better about exercising more consistently again so that's a step in the right direction.

  10. HOdi I hope you get your family dinner out. Is there any special place you want to go? That's wonderful that Paul is going back to work. That must be a relief.

  11. Not much going on with me lately. When I had my hair cut and dyed last week, I had her put more brown and less red on my hair. I feel more comfortable with this color. It was too red for a while there.

  12. SLIN - Looks like it's a go! I've been craving Fat Jack's. It's a fabulous bbq restaurant in Monona. And I must say you are beautiful no matter what shade you wear!

  13. Enjoying a cup of coffee while easing into the day. Paul gave me my present early. He got me the newest Hunger Games movie that was released last week. This way I can enjoy it without any commotion! I also am dropping our taxes off...nearly a month earlier than I normally do ;)

    Have a great day HOoters!!

  19. I've been feeling a little under the weather today so just stayed home and took it easy. I finished watching the Amazon original series, Bosch, and really liked it.

  20. J/L, Yesterday I had a mani/pedi scheduled then I was meeting Sharon at the Folsom Lake College to see the Buddy Holly Story on stage. When I left the house to go to my nail/toe appointment, my car started and immediately died and the battery light came on. After saying all the curse words I know in English AND Italian, I called my sister and she agreed to loan me her car. I was too late for Sheenah to do both nails and toes, so just got the mani. I was late to meet Sharon because there were accidents on the freeway that backed it up forever (it seemed). I finally got off the freeway and took surface streets and meet up with Sharon 90 minutes late. We grabbed a quick bite to eat and rushed to the theater and I was so stressed I wanted to just go home. But Sharon calmed me down and we saw a fantastic show. I was glad I stayed.

Today I had a hair appointment at 11:00am and my guy was running late so I didn't get done until 2:30pm. When I came home I had to deal with getting my car fixed and my neighbor was going to help me, but we couldn't find a battery for my car. Luckily it wasn't the hybrid battery. I finally called AAA road service and they brought out a battery and installed it for just the price of the battery. I should have called them first! It was almost 9:00pm when it was finally done. And I was DONE!

Tomorrow I have to get my sister's car back to her.

You're probably sorry you brought it up! LOL

  25. Barb Wow! You had two very frustrating days. I'm glad you were able to make it to the play on time and that you enjoyed it.

Actually, I felt better by last night and seem to be fine today. I don't know what was going on with me except that my stomach just felt kind of unsettled.

  26. Thank you for the Birthday wishes! It's been an interesting week. After work on Wednesday I went home to change clothes because I was meeting my Aunt Jane for lunch. When I walked into the house I heard a noise. It was a squirrel. In my dining room!!! I quickly changed my clothes and opened the front door in hopes that it would run that way, but it didn't. I could see that it had tried getting out via the patio door. So I opened the patio door and propped open the door to the screen porch and left for my lunch date. I felt like I was in the movie Christmas vacation. SQUIRREL!!! By the time I got back from lunch it had left. Tim made a sweep of the house for me to make sure! Pretty sure it had gotten in via the chimney for the franklin stove in the living room. Sam said she had heard something "scrambling around" in there on Tuesday. OY!!

  27. I'm working today, but leaving by 1 pm to head down to LOIS's for the weekend. I had called her the other day and told her I didn't know if I could make it Friday or Saturday. She made me laugh when she said "don't you know that's all I want for your birthday?" It's been since October that I've been down there. Too damn long!!!
