This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
Well it's a Bah Humbug for me lol! All 3 of us are down with colds. I am sure it was from Jim hanging around the old Geezers at the VFW or from the Casino! I can't remember the last time I was this sick! Mostly from the neck up. I was already miserable from seasonal sinus crap.
Just before Christmas my favorite Nephew passed away suddenly. We won't know until the autopsy what happened. His wife was unable to wake him. The EMTs tried several time to revive him with no success. His obit on FB gives you a glimpse of how wonderful a person he was. Christmas was very sad around. You can imagine how it was for his family. This is one of Jim's brothers, sons. They are all devastated.
I hope all of my sweet owls have a wonderful pain free 2024.
Mary, I am so sorry about your nephew. It’s always very sad when someone passes away suddenly, but worse, imo, near a big holiday. My hubby died 8 days before his 52nd birthday. It’s also sad that you and Jim ane Matthew are all sick. I hope you are all getting better.
Dianne, how are you doing now that you’re home? Did they give you exercises to do at home? I had an appointment with the PT two weeks ago and I’ve been doing stretching exercises to loosen up my upper arms. It still hurts, but I can stretch a little farther now. I have a follow up appointment on Jan. 17. He thinks is a rotator cuff issue. Because of my kidney disease, I can’t take any pain medication except Tylenol and it really doesn’t help much.
JL, Did your daughter come down for Christmas? I saw that you’re gecko sitting. That must be fun. The word must be out that you’re a good pet sitter.
MERRY CHRSTMAS, SWEET OWLS.
