Summer, and no good TV!

i do love the summer, i really do!
however there is one thing, and only
one, that i don't like about it,
there is nothing on TV!

i miss my shows, they keep me company,
they give me something to look forward
to on certain nights, its like i know all the
people on the shows, and enjoy a visit
with them each week, and then "poof they
are gone" leaving me in the lurch

it was so fun watching American Idol
routing for a winner, seeing the winner
and then "poof, gone" just like that!

my dear grey's, gone!

so now i find myself, looking for things
to do at night, grasping the air, flipping
the channels, reading book after book,
and watching videos on you tube!

when i was younger i so looked forward
to summer, as it was a time of no school
and playtime had no end

now, its just, well, summer is here!

nothing on TV

how age changes everything!

in my travels on you tube i found
this video and immediately smiled

i hope you enjoy as well!

I have been up since around 5:45 am!:(

I am not a big fan of summer tv either Carol! MOSTLY re-runs! There are some original shows coming on this summer, but most look boring haha

    Have a great day y'all!

I was REALLY first! Love that song!

Anyone ever seen the video for the RuPaul/Elton John version!? I LOVE IT!

He originally did it with Kiki Dee!

    RuPaul and Elton

  5. Morning Glories!

Oh boy thanks for the morning laugh Carol.

I forgot about Captain and Tenille!

Tony Tenille and that mushroom haircut! LMAO Well it was the 70's!

Daryl: The straight faced side kick! There was always a little something ummmmmm different about him!

John of course was so adorable!

I remember summer was a time to run around and play too. But I always loved when September hit and the new TV season would start. I recall being very excited to see the new shows.

Unlike many of you I am looking forward to checking out some of the new and older shows that I have not had a chance to see in the last 10 years as we finally got cable.

I have The Closer on my list and a new show I forget the name, about witness protection. Also I will finally get to see Kathy Griffin and her show My life on the D list.

So yes I miss my regular shows but am excited about making some new friends!

Hell I even enjoy watching the History channel and more!

The last few days I have been glued to CNN when I have been home.

Zona is that furry thing in your picture called a muff?? LMAO You are too cute!

Iteach: I hope you have a fun and fantastic trip!

MEK: Thanks for the morning laugh from area 51. The jokes on Zona the rest of us are not sending in pics. ROFLMAO

IBB: Keep safe today! All of you in WEsconsin and the mid west too. The weather looks like it is going to be scary!

What is this that Eunice died but is back? Does that make her the undead? LOL

  6. Good morning!

HEY Joey is first today! Woohoo!

    Hi Lynn!

There really is not too much on tv right now. We started watching the Mole on Monday and it was ok.

We are also watching The Bachelorette (AMAZING) and Wife Swap.

I love Animal Planet and that is on when there is nothing else to watch. My huz loves TRU TV (formerly Court TV).

If I'm home on a weekend, I like to watch movies on Lifetime.

We love Survivor so are waiting for the next season to start, I think in the fall. We also like AMAZING Race.

Hope everyone has a great day today!

  10. Good morning, Joey, Carol, Lynn D, and East Bay!

Good night, Jodi and Sleep! Sorry I fell asleep!

Summer and TV shows: Yes, Carol, age changes perspective mightily! What has changed the most for me is the perception of time. All the seasons just fly by now; I can't believe it's less than three weeks before the days start to shorten again, and we enter the long slide to winter darkness!

The availability of TV shows, I'm not so affected by. The only one I watch is Ghost Whisperer!

Have a great day, everbody! Joey, I can't believe I missed Ross's call too!

I'm just a celebrity stalking failure! LOL!

  11. Tina: We should blog about the time we had sex.

  12. On a related topic:

Lynn D: Yes, I rather think that IS what its called! LOL! But only Zona knows for sure.

  13. Good morning everyone!

At home our channel 9 (WGN) is showing 70's shows at night for the summer.

I think it was Monday night and it was all Mary Tyler Moore. I have seen all her episodes it is my favorite show. I was so excited to watch them again.

  14. Good Morning Owls!

I have a Blockbuster Online account that I only use during the summer months. When the new TV season starts, I cancel my Blockbuster membership, but they save all of my account info so all I have to do is reactivate it the next summer. That's when I catch up on all the good movies I've missed. :)

I had forgotten about John Travolta's perfectly feathered hair. LOL!

Waving HI to Joey, Lynn, EBJ, Carol, Whabby, Iteach!

    ReplyDelete
  15. I think John misses that feathery hair.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Good morning Hooters, congrats on 1st Joey!

What is this that lynn is saying? Zona is showing her muff?????

Lots of rain and thunder boomies during the night and this morning lynn. Going to get HOT AND HUMID and more storms coming today and tomorrow. But, it is supposed to be sunny on Saturday when we have an outdoor wedding to attend. Keep your fingers crossed for that.

I watch a lot of HGTV, History, TLC and the foodnetwork. Throw in the reality shows and I am good to go for summer. I find I watch a lot less tv in the summer anyway.

    Have a great day everyone!

Thank you everyone for the nice congrat comments, emails and messages. It is always nice to celebrate with friends and you guys are the best!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Iteach: I miss my feathered hair too! After I found my senior pic last night, I actually looked in the phone book to see if the guy who cut my hair back then is still in business. :)

  18. Good morning night owls!!
There is 1 summer show that I am looking forward to! MADMAN It previewed last summer and I enjoyed it immensely! I don't know if it is shown in all parts of the country, but I know it was renewed for another summer!
Carol, thank you for keeping this place going. I appreciate it.

  20. Morning everyone! (Joey, LynnD, EBJ, Carol, Whabbear, Iteach, Amicus, Goldie, and Grandma Moses)! Morning to all those who post after me too!

    Joey, Congrats on #1!!!

Carol: I love the video! I also forgot about Captain and Tenille! I remember thinking how cool her hair was back then! LOL!!!

I'm sure glad that John Travolta stuck with his acting career! I don't think he was that great of a singer! Anyone remember him on American Bandstand? OMG! That song he did was so corny!!! I still laugh when I see it! (Someone needs to post a link to it...as I'm SURE they would have it on U-Tube!)

OK...off to make my "to do" list for today...

    See you all after while!

    ReplyDelete
  21. AhhhhhhhHAHAHAHA!!! I love it! Who would have ever thought you could go on the web and search "Hmmmmm let's see if I can find The Capt'n & Tennile w/John Travolta.....)

  22. Happy Thursday!!

    Good Morning...

    Joey - Congrats on First

Lynn D - I, seriously, was just joking with Zona - I know she would absolutely SHIT if that were true!!

EBJ - I like to watch Animal Planet also -

Whabby - I'm not a fan of Gabby!! sorry!!

Iteach - when do you go to CA? Are you packed.

Amicus - summer time is a great time to get caught up on all the movies that we didn't get to see in the theater ... good idea..

Goldie - you sure have a TON of weddings to attend...... glad your anniversary was fun!! I'll cross my fingers and say a prayer that the weather holds out..

Grandma Moses - i've never heard of that show - I'll have to check it out....

Jennifer - I think all girls were jealous of John's hair.. it was perfect!! and I do remember him on Bandstand -

Barb in WA - :-) - yes, who knew - but maybe the challenge now - is to find unusual YouTube videos and write blogs about them!!

Cpgem - can't wait to see who the next "senior" is!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. cpgem - thanks for your blog today - I also miss my shows - I started watching the Bachelorette just cuz nothing else was on - and it is just truly AMAZING!! LOL

There are some shows that were on opposite my favorite shows, so I can watch them now - I'm watching So You Think You Can Dance.

The next FoodNetwork Star started on the Food Network and I love to watch cooking shows -

Baseball is usually on at night!!

Movies on the movie channel -

Sometimes it is sad to have SO many channels and nothing is on..

Well, I need to try to put another small dent in my major project upstairs...

I hope everyone has an excellent day!!
    :-)

  24. oops - it was Iteach that eluded to John's hair..

  25. Hi Everyone, Great video, Carol. I wonder what Captain and Tenile look like today and if they still sing. My favorite song of that twosome was Muskrat Love. Anyone remember that one? I think some boyfriend and I had it for "our song"..weird, huh?

WHABBY: Last time I saw your post about the wedding you said "you hadn't even proposed yet". I am thinking that might have happened and I missed it? How is your surgery healing and how is huz's arm..all healed now? I also hate to be the one to inform you but I don't think Hooters specializes in "cups of tea"!! lol

GOLDIE: Happy late Anniversary and I am glad you had a nice evening and many more happy years to come! Maybe we can all attend the 50 year party...I will only be 111 years old, so I might need some help!

Jennifer: I was divorced from my childrens father when they were 2 and 5. They are now 36 and 39. They went to their dad's every other weekend and sometimes more with his new wife. I had a hard time with it too. They always were financially able to take them on better vacations, better presents, etc. BUT as the kids grew older they now see their dad for what he is really like. They love him and they have a good relationship but I never had to say a word negative about him..they figured some of those things all out by themselves. He and his wife also had a child..It has worked out. We attended the same fuctions for the kids and now for the grandkids. Thirty plus years have gone by and I still know I made the right decision. Once when my daughter was young she wrote a paper at school about how lucky she was to have four parents (probably for the bdays and holiday presents too). Anyway, you are doing the right thing and just keep alert for love as it can smack you in the face and you don't even know it sometimes.
    Sorry this is so long.

  26. Good Morning All Owls - There are too many here to name all of you. Tia let me sleep until eight this morning so that makes up for not being amongst the first.

Joey - First today. Good for you. You were sure up early.

Up to a few years ago I would watch T.V. every night with my set of favourite shows. Mondays and Saturdays always seemed like good nights for me. I remember when Saturday night would have one after the other. "All In The Family", "Mary Tyler Moore", "Bob Newheart", "Love Boat". That was great fun. Over the years the sit-coms went out of fashion and now Reality shows are the big thing. Except for "American Idol" and "Dancing with the Stars" I haven't the enthusiasm to watch the rest of them. I watched "Survivor" season 2 and enjoyed it. Then there was too much angst for me and I haven't watched it since then. I now love "Ghost Whisperer" because Zona and Bear got me onto that show and I watch "Desperate House Wives". Other than that I no longer notice the difference between Summer and Winter on T.V. I buy every DVD that appeals to me and every T.V. DVD set that I like. Some of them I have seen many times and still enjoy them. I watch the old re-runs on the Family Channel as well. At one point I watched 3 or 4 Soaps but I don't do that either. I have no idea why my watching habits changed. I think being involved with my computer had a lot to do with it.

Carol - I loved the video. I think John got far more handsome as he got older.

  27. There are a couple of new shows coming on in the next two weeks. MEK, have you ever watched Nashville Star or something like that? It is kind of like Idol only country and it is switching to NBC this coming Monday night. My dil tells me "it is better than Idol" and I do know you like country. Also, America's Got Talent will be starting in two weeks. I kind of enjoyed that last summer.

SACBARB: Do you still watch DOL? I check in on it a few days a week. I kind of like the "new" John's attitude.

I watched an Oprah (probably repeat) the other day and it was all about organ donating. Did anyone else see it? It was pretty powerful and really stressed to let your family know if you want that done not just having it on your license as it is a hard time for anyone to think of looking at your drivers license right at that moment. Just throwing that in for yesterday's topic.
    Time to rest again!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ahhhh...only 50 degrees here today..You had better hurry MEK!!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. I remember people keeping their banana comb in their back pocket so they could keep their hair feathered.

    ReplyDelete
  30. MEK- Packing for me is easy.

However, the kids are all staying at grandma's house. So I have to pack their clothes, special toys, and special snacks. That is what is taking so long.

    Also, I keep procastining (sp).

    ReplyDelete
  31. Dianne in Denver!!!

YES - I have watched EVERY season of Nashville Star - and I did see that it was moving to NBC - SO, I will be watching that as well!!!

I KNEW there was something else to look forward to this summer!! LOL

While you enjoy your 50 degrees - we will be DOUBLING that today!! YIKES!!

    ;-)

Okay - upstairs I go!!! I wandered onto the scrapbook message boards and got consumed!!!

    Good morning - Tinka

    ReplyDelete
  32. Iteach - I tend to pack BETTER after procrastinating - if that makes sense - if I start TOO early - I tend to think about it WAY too much!!

    Good luck...

okay - I'm REALLY leaving this time!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Good Morning Everyone!

Yes, it is me, Donna Jean returning to the flock after a considerable absence!

I want to thank each of you who have emailed me and those that have wondered where I have been. It means alot to me that you all care enough about each and every one of the Owlettes to miss them when MIA!

No big mystery or story involved. I just needed some time to take care of some family business, and to re-evaluate some priorities, and basically, just take some "me" time! These past six months have been pretty stressful on both myself and My Laurie, and I was just plain tuckered out!

I do want you all to know though, I have been keeping up with reading the blog as often as I can. All of the blogs have been so touching, funny, thought provoking, or just plain fun!
I thoroughly enjoy reading them every day. I hope I will be able to get back into a routine of posting again.

No news yet about Laurie's upcoming surgery. She still has to have that last MRI (the one that was cancelled in April due to UCSF's mistake). They have her scheduled now for July 7th. Hopefully then we will have more definitive answers.

Laurie is continuing doing well, losing weight, and being a good girl by sticking to her new diet, and I am so proud of her!

So many of the Hooters have been having tough times as well. I want to send my love, and positive thoughts to each and every one of you!

I can't believe how long Dianne has been sick! Thanks for the email, sweetie, and my prayers and positive healing thoughts are with you each day!

As for the Blog today, I must admit I don't care much for summer! I prefer Fall and Spring. The summer's just get too hot for this old Owl anymore. I can remember though, those Lazy, Hazy Days of my youth, when we would go to the beach every day, ride bikes to the park, and play outside until dark and it never seemed to be too hot for me then!

And, I too miss my regular shows during the summer. They used to run the shows as "re-runs" during the summer so you could catch up if you missed an episode, but with the Internet, and the DVD's coming out as soon as the season is over, they don't do that.

I just got my new TV Guide in the mail yesterday with a preview of the summer shows, and nothing really looked all that interesting. So, I guess I will just watch old movies in the evenings, or catch up more on my reading. I have tons of books that I have yet to start.

Maybe we could start a Summer Reading Club, like we used to have to do when we were in school and see who can read the most books, and give a report on each of them. Anyone up to doing that??? It might be lots of fun, and we could recommend interesting books we have read.

We could call it "Night Owls Summer Reading Club".

I'd be willing to start it, as I just started reading "What Is The What" by Dave Eggars. It is not light reading though, and it might take me all summer to finish!

Well, I have certainly written a novel myself, this morning!

I will be back though, and check in with all of you later today.

Peace and Love to all, Donna Jean and Laurie Elizabeth

  35. Happy Thursday Owls. I'm just doing a quick fly by because I'm leaving soon to go see Phantom of the Opera again. I love that show. Sharon the Chaperone will be here soon and we are going to lunch first.

Have a nice day and I'll be back later to check in.

    P.S. Joey, congrats on first.

It doesn't bother me that TV series are over. I get to catch up on all the movies at Blockbuster. Last night we rented UNTOUCHABLE. It was fascinating how quickly the FBI can zone in and arrest people who scam or threaten others over the Internet. It's funny how the law works. A man can beat up his wife and spend the night in jail and back out BUT anyone who dishes out threats on the Internet then the cops turn it over to a detective and then the FBI because that is a federal offense.
Anyhow I've got a list of great movies that I look forward to seeing including Over Her Dead Body, Great Debators... I already saw Juno & 27 Dresses. Both great!

    ReplyDelete
  37. DonnaJean, I've missed you! Thanks for checking in.

At one point I think VIG talked about doing some type of book club.

I will go back to the library tonight and check out "What is the What".

I've been reading about Queen Josephine. She is very interesting.

  42. MEK- you are right, and I just sent back a "regrets" to a wedding in Aug! Have to go to this one though, it is our goddaughter.
Between the traveling, the gifts the clothes and so forth these weddings are costing a small fortune! And my son gets married in Oct too. OY
At least NO ONE from last weeks wedding will be at this weeks, so I can wear the same outfit. Only this time no pantyhose, bare legs and sandals. REALLY WHITE bare legs, but what the hell.

I am just starting to read "The Last Lecture". A book club sounds fun to me.

Hi DJ- good to see you.

iteach if you have snow, then you are really farther from WEsconsin then I thought!! LOL

  43. Oh, I want to pat myself on the back and hope it doesn't come back to punch me later... We miss you VIG and I know I will be happy when you are just a few miles from me. Love, Tinka

Nice to see Dianne & DJ!

Goldie~~Good luck with the weather for Saturday's wedding. My daughter's getting married outdoors in NC Saturday, too, so ALL my fingers are crossed! She said it was 99* last night. Please, no tornadoes!!

Iteach~~Have a blast in L.A. with the Mr.!!

Bear~~"Hear, hear!" for your comments over there-there :o) .....and no snowballs from this corner!!

I pretty much avoid nighttime TV during the summer unless there's a can't-miss movie on. PBS and daytime HGTV/FoodNetwork/Travel Channel is about it for me (but I only subscribe to 33-channel cable so I'm sure i miss some good stuff.)

Heads rolling at the Pentagon (USAF) today.

    Happy Over-the-hump day to all!

  72. I did goof it all up! LMAO

    I put 92 when I started and it should've been 91 haha

    ReplyDelete
  73. That was fun Joey! (Glad to know I am not the only one who messed up)!

    You still got 100!

    Good for you!

    ReplyDelete
  74. OHHH I see what you meant..I go by the number at the very top! You did mean to say 91 when you put 90! lmao

    FUN either way;)

    ReplyDelete
  75. Joey, I think you and I are not a good pair to keep count when we march! LOL!!! Neither of us can count right! ROTFLMAO!!!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Yep...that's how I know if I end on an "even" number!
    LOL!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Ok...one more to get me an even one...then I have to figure bills! : P (I hate this task)!

    ReplyDelete
  78. WOW, this is pretty awesome! We all knew about the custom M&M's with words, but now you can put PHOTOS!! OMG! LOL
Seems like they'd be too little to look right! Interesting though!:)

    PHOTO M&M'S

  79. I'll throw my vote to the picture being BARB/WA too. She's absolutely beautiful.

CAROL: Mr. Z has that DVD set..it is a trip to watch. I was not a big John Travolta fan when he was young..but sure do like him now. Wasn't his big hit "Let Her In"??

JOEY: Congrats on FIRST. I watched the EJ/RP version..and the EJ/KKD as well. Loved them both...THANK YOU!

LYNND: Watch what you say about my muff when I'm not here..;)

EBJ: I just can't watch Animal Planet..everytime I tried, they were putting an animal down. Drove me crazy.

CPGEM: I don't know how I got so bold. Thank YOU!!

WHABBEAR: I can't wait until the summer solstice..watching for the days to get shorter helps me get through the summer. In fact, reading about you and TINA would be helpful too! ;)

AMICUS: We have On Demand through the cable company, you can order movies, TV shows anytime and it's free. Pretty cool.

    splitting this up..

    ReplyDelete
  80. MEK: You're right. ;)

VIG: I MISS YOU..get your butt back here!! Bring the pump...;)

DIANNE: Good to see you!! Now get back in bed and rest! ;)

TINKA: Hi pretty lady!! Remember..you will have a new show soon.."Grey's Anatomy"!!

ITEACH: I remember those combs!! LOL!

    GOLDIE: Well..HELLO, DOLLY!! I hope you're match-making works out!!

    HI DONNAJEAN!

    ReplyDelete
  81. is guessing I need to send a Hawaiian Snapper to Zona

    ReplyDelete
  82. KGRL: If you think it would help..please do!! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  83. I'm having a hard time guessing, but she sure is pretty.

I'm trying not to cheat by looking at people's myspace pages.

    I'm going to guess Birdee.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I have no idea who the pretty lady is.. but since we get better as we get older...she must be a really beauty now!

Zona- don't make me come down there and snap you! Actually I 'thimp'. Right between the eyes- LOL :)
Just think- I could have a whole new career as a matchmaker and I can name it "Miss Dolly's". Thanks for the idea!! You wanna be partners?

Don't talk about the days getting shorter- they are just getting to be long enough!

    ReplyDelete
  85. GOLDIE: I'm not much of a matchmaker..but I'm a pretty good "keep them togetherer". I guess we could cover all bases!

The paper here prints a chart to show us what time the sun sets and rises during the summer. I cut that out and put it on the fridge...I am so glad when it shows less daylight, cuz it means less heat!

    "Thimp" away!! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  86. Jennifer and Joey - I would like to see you practise the numbers from 50 to 100, write them out twice please and in order.
    Miss Tink

    ReplyDelete
  87. Zona:

You got Jodi Snappin, Goldie Thimpin, and me Finnin....

Are you there yet? It eventually hurts girlfriend...lol

    ReplyDelete
  88. ZonaBaby - I just woke up from a 2 hour nap. I usually sleep for an hour in the afternoon so either I was tired or I am getting lazy. The rainy weather isn't helping either.
I can't wait to start on Grey's. I will have a whole new obsession to keep me busy. That's great.
I think maybe a Diet Coke will wake me up. I should be getting something constructive done today.

Iteach - I forgot to report back to you about the movie "27 Dresses". I enjoyed it. It's my kind of 'chick flick'. I don't think it would appeal to the men so you may have to watch it with a girl friend.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Dear Miss Tink:

I will work on my numbers this summer! (Darn....I thought I was homework free)! ; )

    ReplyDelete
  90. TURTLE - lol @ are you there yet!!! Raising my hand.....yesssssssssss!!!!

TINK - So cute that you're still giving assignments.......and you'd think JENNIFER would be better (with just finishing college and all....). :D

    JOEY - Let them talk!!!

ZONA - Still working on a package for you....should help keep you snapping for years....and in style!!! :P

    ReplyDelete
  91. Nope I need it to be sunny....lmao

    ReplyDelete
  92. KGRL: Therein lies the problem, I'm so use to it..I hardly feel a thing!

    JODI: Now THAT sounds interesting..;)

TINKA: I am breaking down and getting Season 3..so even when you think you are done..you won't be!! Please send rainy weather this way!

    TINA: SMACK! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  93. Ok I am so stumped!

    What a pretty owl!

I am throwing the names in a hat and guessing........Scrishy!!

    ReplyDelete
  94. I have no idea who the mystery Owl is, but I'll guess BarbWA just because everyone else did. :)

My old scanner won't work with Vista so I took my senior pics to Walgreens today to have them put on a disc. My mom bought my senior portfolio so I had 12 pics added to the disc, and it only cost $2.99.

Zona: My cable company offers the On Demand service, but I would have to pay for the digital cable package to get it. I only have basic cable. :)

    ReplyDelete
  95. Zona - That is exciting about Season three. We won't be bored these summer evenings. It seems more like early spring here. I am so sick of the rain. It isn't heavy, it's just drizzling. At least there is some stimulation in heavy rain. Drizzle makes me tired and lazy. I am blowing the rain down to you. It may take a few hours but it's coming.

    ReplyDelete
  96. That was 135. Is anyone still in the nest.

    ReplyDelete
  97. 137 I am going very slowly hoping to be jumped on.

    ReplyDelete
  98. I guess all little owlettes have gone home for dinner.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Jennifer and Joey - You can e-mail me your homework.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Psst....hey Joey....you wanna work on the homework assignment together? Maybe Whabbear can help....I hear he's pretty smart! ....shh...don't say anything to Miss Tink!

    ReplyDelete
  101. OK...I don't have a clue who that beautiful person is! Could it be MEK?

    ReplyDelete
  102. Jennifer - I saw that. Now stop trying to get Joey into trouble. You know what a good boy he is. I have warned you about Whabbear. He will get you talking about the stars and you need to concentrate on the work at hand.
    Miss Tink

    ReplyDelete
  103. ROFL @ TINKA!!! JENNIFER...I should have warned you..my cybermom keeps a close eye on everyone in the nest!! Only because she loves us!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Is it cheating when you look at people's myspace pictures? I just looked at Barbara's wedding pictures. They are beautiful and there is a similarity between them and the senior photo but I still am not certain they are the same.

    ReplyDelete
  105. 149 Why is it when I arrive at the nest all owls disappear?

    ReplyDelete
  106. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I deleted my comment because I had two grammar mistakes in one sentence. That won't do for Miss Tink.

    ReplyDelete
  108. TINKA: I ran to feed Nikki...she was gnawing on my toe...maybe it would have made it smaller!! LOL!

Congrats on 150!!! YAHOO Cool mom!! :)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  112. Hey do we all have to practise our numbers. How did we jump from 169 to 174 in 3 jumps. The number now says 175.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Mr. Mek came home - asked me if I wanted to go out to dinner and I jumped on the opportunity!!

YUMMY!! went to Olive Garden -

I do not think that the pic is barb in wa -

Tinka - you are marching all over the place...

    K'girl - LOL - :-)

Jennifer - thanks, but it is NOT me!! sorry - haven't tried the scanner thing yet and trying to take a pic with my digital camera did NOT work.... SO - mine is not even submitted yet!!

hope everyone had an excellent day!!

    I'll be back later -

    ReplyDelete
  114. Mek - I am marching because I am bored waiting for some owls to come out to play. Actually I have just given up and I am off the watch the extras on the movie "27 Dresses". I always find the extras as much fun as the movie itself. I will be back later to see who the Girl OF The Day is.

    ReplyDelete
  115. MEK- I love the Olive Garden.
