Everything!

I got everything! Yep I do!

Everything is so over whelming with the holidays
coming to a close, everything is just a blur

It seems everything went so quickly, shopping, wrapping,
gift giving, eating, New year, everything mixed together

Even tho everything moved so fast, I still have the
memories of everything that occurred

And yet, with everything that had to be done for the
holidays, I still had everything to do at work

I was so proud of myself cause everything got done,
and everything was a success

And today, I have a everything to do list, and we all
know everything can be just about anything
so as I get on with my day
everything will be first, so then nothing is last

Wish me luck, cause everything has a purpose
and without everything we have nothing!

:O)

  8. Carol~ I agree with you about EVERYTHING. Yes, everything got done to perfection this season, now we continue on to manage everthing else.

Love the blog, there was really a lot of everything to do this season....

    We had Nothing...
    We had Something...
    We have Everything...

I'm grateful to have had all three.

    ReplyDelete
  9. No the children are not up, yet.

However, the empty house across the street from us will wake them up.

The city workers are in the front of the house putting in city water pipes.

So I wonder, if that means we will be having new neighbors soon.

    hMMMMM

  10. Have a great day, iteach, and hug the children for me that will be soon coming to the breakfast table all sleepy-eyed.

  12. Morning Glories!

Ohhhhhh Ronnie is making a run for 1st in the New Year! LOL Congrats.

Carol I woke up after another night of weird dream, this one involved owls, and was thinking I needed to get everything done today that I have been putting off. I went outside a moment ago and we freaking have an inch of snow! So everything will have to wait until tomorrow! Oh well another day and more of everything to do.

Good morning Ronnie and Iteach. Will be back after some more coffee!

Well, I got up early to do everything..so I better start on something before I end up doing nothing. Have a nice day everyone. I'll be a peeker-inner today!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Good morning!

Ronnie is the fast owl this morning! Congrats! MR. EBJ got up early and went to Sacramento, I could have been first today if I'd gotten up with him! haha!

Hi Zona! What the heck is a widget? I have heard and seen of a widget, but have no clue what that is.

I always have stuff to do, but bein the procrastinator that I am, have learned to just do what I can and the leftover stuff will get done another day. It seems to work!

I don't do lists anymore, I found that a list just stressed me out, and took longer to get things crossed off.

Shout out to Ronnie, Iteach, IBB, NN, Mary and Lynn D.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Happy Friday Morning!!

  30. Morning Owls! It is still morning right? I don't know why I seem to be sleeping in lately. I'm usually up at the crack of dawn. I doubt I will get everything done today....

  33. Checking back it is daylight and there is more snow than I first thought!

IBB WTH indeed! I thought we were past this. Yargggggh

Zona I have to think about this weird dream as it was kind of scary and then it just got really weird. Don't know if I will share. I guess I must have some worries rolling around in my head and must be in denial and maybe my dreams are acting things out for me. Who knows? It could just be the ham sandwich I had before bed.

Glad to see everyone land, off to read some news and pray the damn propane truck shows up! I tell you they better snow or no snow.

  40. Good Day to RONNIEGIRL, ITEACH, LYNN, ZONA, EBJ, IBB, MARY, SCIRISH, NN/LL, MEK.

I am a little less fuzzy today, at least for now. I guess this bug just takes a while. Not only do I need to make a list, I need to post it in an obvious place and actually not only look at it, but DO IT!

ITEACH, I would advise a plunger as a house warming gift for the new neighbors in order to avoid possible plunger syndrome trauma:)

MARY, "I am on my way to the shower so I can wash everything" lol!. I have to make lists of everything or I forget something! LOL

RONNIE, Try not to get picked up for FUI. :)

LYNN, Since you are so active in your sleep, you deserve to take it easy during the day. Were the 100 mile an hour winds anywhere near you the other day?

ZONA, I think I found a good place for music on MS. It is more like project playlist. And, thanks, I am feeling better.

MEK, I am sorry you have a headache. It is pretty heard to think straight when your head hurts.

EGJ, You already have enough TO DO lists at work!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Good Morning Lovely Owls.

Ronnie - Congrats on being first and for having such a great avatar.

Good Morning - Iteach, Lynn, Lois, Zona-my-baby, Ibebold, Mary, East Bay J, Scirish, Carol and Bebbi. It is such fun writing all those names again.

I have so much catching up to do with messages and reading blogs and comments it is going to take me a while to get back to normal. That's not even bringing in the fact that I have a house to undecorate.

I have so much to tell about New Year's I could almost write a blog, NOT!!!!!! Let's just say it was a fun one and not the sad one I had expected. How is that for adding suspense to the blog?

Must answer some messages. I will be back as soon as I am able and not one minute later.
Be good. Be safe. Love, Tinka

  42. Ronnie....Congrats on first!

Ibb, Shirley, Justlin and EBJ....Kudo's on staying smoke free..

Mo...I am thinking about quitting too...I want to try Hypnotism to help me quit, but first I think I have to convince myself that I really want to! (she says as she lights a ciggy to go with the fake coffee)

    Lynndeeeee....Loved your story!

    Zona...I agree...Don't change a thing!!!

    Carol...Sorry about your uncle. (((hugs)))

    k...back to catching up!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Carol, I forgot to say I loved your blog. I especially loved the New Year videos. I watched them many times last night.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Oops...Sorry Tink...I didn't see you there.

  45. Shower is done,breakfast served
paper read, grossery list made, piles of recyclables are by the door,

  46. Good Morning, Owls!

Ronnie Congrats on 1st through 4th plus 6th! LOL It pays to hang around by the manor door until it gets unlocked.

Zona I am now using a MS player and so far, so good. I also have found songs on there that I couldn't find on Project Playlist.

MEK I'm sorry your head still hurts. Maybe you really should tie one on. It might make you forget about your head.

Mary LMAO @ "Hold your beaks"!

Carol Great blog about everything! I forgot to put everything out for snacks on Christmas day! There was still more than enough to eat and nobody missed it. Yesterday, I went gross-ry shopping and got everything on my list but I forgot to put something on the list so will have to go back today. Crap!

How come when a man asks a woman if something is wrong, the usual answers are either "nothing" or "everything"? It's never "a couple of things".

Lani I'm glad you're feeling better.

Waving a wing at LynnD, IBB, LL/NoNewz, iteach, scirish, Tinka, EBJ and anyone else who flies in while I'm typing. Hope I didn't miss anyone. I've only had one cup of coffee so far.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I love being TEDIOUS!!!!!!!!! And I got 69!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. EBJ Loved your march! Congrats on 69! Love your dapper little owl!

    It's been raining here.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Good afternoon Owls.

Carol, I have a list of everything I need to do today and so far I have nothing done. I really need to get something done soon.

Wait, I am checking in on the nest. That's something.

And I'm watching All My Children. Should have put that on the list.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Ronnie, Congrats on waiting in line for first.

Iteach, congrats on getting some 'you' time before the kids wake up.

LynnD, Maybe you should hold off on the ham sammy before bed tonight.

Zona, glad you finally got to open everything.

MEK, What was that herbal remedy that an Owl gave for headaches? I think Zona knows.

J/L, We have rain too and it's cold.

Tinka, WB and glad you had a good New Year's celebration.

Waving also to NN/LL, IBB, Mary, EBJ, Scirish, Bebbi, and all who land later. I am going to try to get everything done today.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Hi SacBarb! I will be lucky to get anything done today. I have been so lazy the last couple of days. Maybe it's the weather, the fog, etc. I have a rented video to return. At least that's something. BBL

    ReplyDelete
  52. JL thanx! I don't usually get to march so I had to take it while it was there!

It has been raining all morning here too.

OOPS it's afternoon now! Geez where has the day gone? haha!

    ReplyDelete
  53. CAROL - I can totally relate today!!! I had a co-worker call in and NOT find a replacement for her shift, so I ended up doing a 12 hour one. I feel like I've done EVERYTHING!!! And then some.....

I'm too freakin' tired to name you all individually, so I'm just gonna say "HI HOoters"!!!

I think it's time to crack open a Spotted Cow and put my feet up!!

    See ya later. :O)

    ReplyDelete
  54. Congrats on first, Ronnie! Don't forget that something at the store again!

iteach, I hope if you're getting new neighbors they'll be great!

LynnD, snow again???!!! You poor dear, I know you're tired of it.

Hi Lois! I'm about to go read your blog--I always do but never comment. That's rude so I'm going to comment this year. :)

Zona! I'm so happy to see you back in the nest--missed you!

IBB, I have a not-so-nice neighbor next door, too. She lets her dogs bark all night and gets mad if you ask her kindly to make them stop. I really think she's one fry short of a happy meal.

Mary, I hope everything got all washed and twinkly! ;)

    EBJ, nice march!!

MEK, hope your headache is better!

Carol, thanks for nothing. And something. And now everything! ;)

  55. We have been doing everything today!

From fixing a flat tire to cleaning up the snow in the basement.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Scirish, did you switch to the hard stuff? Hope the caffeine is doing the trick!

Hi Bebbi! Walking today? It's raining here. I got soaked going to Walmart.

Lani, so happy to see you! I hope that means you're feeling better.

Yea, Tinka is back!! I'm so glad you got your power back. Can't wait to hear about your New Year celebration!

J/L, did you have that second cup of coffee yet?

Hi Sacbarb, I hope you get everything done today.

Jodi, I think you've done it all today. It sounds like it's time for you to do nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Yes, that is right I said snow.

My newly four year old decided he wanted snow in the basement.

So while mommy was doing the lunch dishes he took the styrofoam out of the garbage can and shredded it over the whole basement carpet.

He was very proud of it until he saw my face.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I live by lists. I think I would wander around aimlessly if I didn't make a list everyday! Lots of times things just roll over to the next day's list but that's okay.

Today I wanted to take the outside decorations down but it's raining and I don't want to put them away all wet so I'll have to wait. I did finish the inside--yea!

I'm still working on my closet--it hasn't looked like this since ... well, since never!

Hope ya'll are getting everything you want done today!!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Sandi, I love lists today.

In fact I love them so much that I thought about making a blog about it. You would be surprised on how I take it to a extreme.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Lani, nice to see you!

Shirley, I'm waving a wing at you!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Thanks Sandie. It's okay. I have a steady flow of people who don't comment on my blog. It's just nice knowing someone's been there, so thank you! :)

How sad, first Mia Farrow's daughter passes away, and now John Travolta's 16-year-old son. We are so blessed to have our health.

The pot of spilt pea soup is a cookin'. Kids call it swamp soup, and both are trying frantically to find a friend's house to go to before dinner is served. *shakes head* Some days, I wonder why I bother.

What's everyone having for supper? I need some new ideas. These people are getting sick of my stew, chili, soups, casseroles and spaghetti, which are the main staples here during winter.

How's the head MEK? Much better I hope!

Oh Mary, and Dianne, I didn't mean to leave you out of my earlier hello in Area 51. My recall on all of you owls isn't as great as I hoped. But I love ya all just the same!! Is there an attendance list I could copy from? Iteach?! LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Oh dear, the old styrofoam trick. I hope you got at least one photo, Iteach. Laughing with not at. :D

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yes, iteach, do a blog on lists! I love lists. Hey, you can write on your list "do a blog on lists" and then cross it off when you're done!!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Afternoon All

Well I got exactly nothing done today! LOL I did watch Ritchie so we cuddled and napped.

propane finally showed up and I have decided in February or March we are going to switch companies. The price is still high even tho the price of gas has dropped. Robber Barons I tell you!

So we are discussing neighbors. Well Ok who wants to switch? I have the crazy Bob the Builder across the street always construction noise or would you rather have the neighbor to the right of us that shoots his pistol randomly day or night to scare the coyotes???

I am thinking about taking up an air horn to scare the pigeons off the roof just for some neighbor pay back. I will sound it at all hours of the day or night just like they do what they want when ever they want.

You know I just thought of the air horn thing but I think I am actually going to get one!

Ok like Mary I need to go shower my bits and pieces.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Everything?

Uh oh! I already talked about dark energy! LOL!

OK, off to Wangs. If it's as crowded as usual, EVERY LITTLE MISS THANG will be there!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Good evening feathered friends!

    RONNIE..congrats on 1st!

CAROL...you never cease to amaze me! Fun blog!

SCIRISH...maybe we can quit together. JUST LIN had a great tip yesterday...visualize yourself as a non-smoker. I am going to try that...soon!

MEK...hope your head feels better soon.

I am blessed...I have good neighbors...I never see or hear them! ;)~ On the day I had to have the garage door guy out, one of my neighbors came over to me and told me to "tell Maureen I wish her a happy holiday"!! She didn't even realize I AM Maureen! Gotta love it!

    ReplyDelete
  67. LynnD LOL @ bits and pieces!

I went to work today and actually did something but I can't take credit for doing everything. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  68. Maureen Are you sure that neighbor isn't related to Mr. Z's aunt? Better check with Zona. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  69. JUST LIN...anything is possible! ZONA does have ties to Cleveland!

    ReplyDelete
  70. TMI ALERT! I sat down on the potty and wondered why it felt so warm and realized after it was too late that I was sitting on my robe! I guess I should be grateful that I am cognitive enough to realize what I did. I feel better, but no energy.

ITEACH, the snow in the basement episode reminded me of the time I painted my grandparent's garbage can and part of the side of the house with creosote. I thought I was doing something so wonderful.

LYNN lmao over the air horn. I am picturing a neighborhood noise war.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Iteach, how cute! snow in the basement lol!! I was driving on the expressway today from Lansing and I noticed a lady trying to change her tire in this freezing weather! The wind was blowing like crazy too! I hope somebody stopped!

NoNewz "HI". I sneak into your blog too lol!

MEK, Hope you are feeling better.

I paid almost $200 for grosseries today! and that was with a pile of coupons! I was low and many staples, but man!!

    ReplyDelete
  72. It seems there are some OWLS missing. I hope everyone is okay.

ZONA & TINK it is nice to see you back. I am looking forward to VIG'S return.

CAROL & BEAR I am sending my condolences.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Slani I like your new owl! Very sweet!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Thanks SLIN, I like your new owl. He could wear your other owl's glasses with those big eyes.

Now I am watching some of the I Love Lucy marathon on the Hallmark Chanel.

HODI, I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

I have a lot of hang to dry stuff today... I had this house sooo HOT ... most of it is dry already!!!!!
That just doesn't happen in humid Virginia...

    ReplyDelete
  77. IBB Custard let me know that his favorite college team, the Hawkeyes, beat the Gamecocks yesterday. Now, why would a team be named Gamecocks? I'm afraid to ask what their mascot or logo are.

  88. I should be in bed, but I am avoiding it because as soon as my head hits the pillow I will start coughing. I just took kind of a quick look at the comments.

MEK, I am sorry you are so sick. It sounds like the same thing I have had. I didn't get dressed at all today or comb my hair. I look like an old dis shoveled woman who you would see on some show like Law and Order, living in a tenement house shuffling to the door in her slippers.

IBB, I feel like I am my own grandmother.
