I've been watching VH-1 this week as they show their picks for the top 2009 music videos. I'm getting such a kick out of seeing videos I haven't seen for a long time. I've also been surfing Youtube trying to find some of my own favorites. Bette Midler's "Beast of Burden" with Mick Jagger. The Rolling Stones' "She Was Hot". Ciara's "1-2 Step" and on and on. There are also some that I never liked..."Everyone Have Fun Tonight" by Wang Chung always gave me a headache..and I know I'm in the minority, but "Thriller" never thrilled me.
One of my very favorite videos is Elton John's "I'm Still Standing". Just a bit of trivia as you watch it...the guy at the door that EJ sprinkles with glitter?? He's Bruno..the judge from "Dancing With The Stars". He appears all through the video..kinda fun to watch him. Oh heck..the whole video is fun. I just love it.
Try to remember some of the music videos you use to love to watch on MTV and take a few minutes today to find them on Youtube. I guarantee..they'll make you smile!! And if you find one you think we'd really like..be sure to let us know!!
first?
ReplyDeleteShirley, Shirley, I got first!!!
ReplyDeleteOff to read the blog.
SANDIE...woo hoo! is this your 1st 1st???
ReplyDeleteThe video won't work for me! It says "embedding disabled by request." I'll go to youtube and watch it.
ReplyDeleteShirley, Shirley, I got 3rd!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Mo! No, it's not my 1st first ever but it is for this year!
ReplyDeleteLOL Mo!! Will the video work for you?
ReplyDeleteGotta run but wanted to say from Area 51:
ReplyDeleteJoey, I'm praying for your honey and hoping all turns out well.
Tina, I'm so sorry for your friend. How horrible. And, I'm sorry your daughter has to go through this at her young age.
Donna, continued prayers for your Dad and your family. Take care of yourself.
i can't watch the videos on dial up. sorry i can't shed any light on this
ReplyDeleteOops, and Sacbarb--I hope you're on the mend!! We miss you.
ReplyDeleteMorning Glories!
ReplyDeleteI can't get the video to play either. Hmmm
I have been watching VH1 occasionally and they run the top 100's from the 70's, 80's 90's etc... It is a hoot and then I hear songs I had forgotten about or really liked and what is fun for me is the background on how the song was written or became a hit. Totally enjoy that.
DonnaH I am so sorry about your Dad. I was thinking about you yesterday. Thank you for your post and Thank you Shirley for the update. Will keep you and your Dad in my prayers.
Tina your post broke my heart. That is so sad. I am sure it is so hard for your daughter to understand. Sending (((Hugs))) and prayers your way.
Joey also saying prayers for your honey.
Seems there is a lot of sadness in this new year. Mr. Lynn D lost 2 co workers last week. One was a sudden death the other had been ill for a very long time.
My best friend called me yesterday and one of her nephews died in his sleep, cause unknown yet. He was 30. So very young and he was the father of a 3 year old.
I will be back in a bit.
ZONA...please forgive me for this, but I had to chuckle at the title of your blog. Miss Fall up the stairs, fall down the stairs, fall over the dog...and you ARE still standing! You rock!!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the video guys..don't know what happened, it worked last week. If you get chance, check it out on Youtube...it is a good one.
ReplyDeleteSANDIE: Congrats on FIRST!
MO: Yippee for THIRD! Ya know, that didn't occur to me...but I AM still standing...for now!! ;)
LYNND: I'm sorry for all the losses you've seen all ready this year. dang.
TINA & HART: Please see Area 51.
Good Morning Hooters!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 1st Sandie!!!
Great blog Zona- I have been watching some of those old videos too. Great fun and memories that they evoke. Haven't tried the video here yet though.
I was able to stop for a moment yesterday, but was really busy. Hope you all had a great time at the anniversary party.
Mr. Goldie taught a self-defense seminar yesterday and I went along and helped. Then out to lunch with friends, and home. Got busy baking and doing laundry and I was pooped early.
Today my SIL is coming to town to go shopping. For what ever reason possesed me, I said I would go with her. UGH............
Lynn - so sorry to hear about your losses.
Joey- Hope things get better for your Honey.
Tina- I'm so sorry. Hugs to your daughter.
Donna- Hope your Dad improves and your life gets back to normal.
Wishing all the Hooters my best and think we need a group grope!!
Zona!! Dang, I knew I forgot something. Thanks for the blog! I watched it on youtube and had a good time rockin' out to it!
ReplyDeleteMo, did you say more snow on your ms status??
LynnD, my gosh, so sorry for your friend's nephew. What is going on lately?
Hi Goldie! Don't you just hate when you tell someone you'll do something and then you don't feel like it and you have to do it anyway?? Though, sometimes that's when you have the most fun--so that's what I'll wish for you today!
We have had no kids all weekend and I have REALLY enjoyed it. LOL I miss them but hey, I got over it kinda quick. ;)
Sandie:
ReplyDeleteCongrats on First....

ReplyDeleteBack in the early 80's, not too long after MTV made it's debut, my mom had open heart surgery. Since she was going to be homebound or a while, I got her cable tv. The first day she had it, she spent the WHOLE day watching MTV!! She would call me at work all day to tell me what videos she liked and didn't like! She loved Pat Benetar and hated Mick Jagger and the Stones! She was an MTV addict!
ReplyDeleteGeeze, do they even still play music videos? It seems it is all "reality" programming.
good morning....
ReplyDelete(my computer is slower than molasses today).....
Sandie - congrats on FIRST!!
Zona - Bruno was on a talk show and they showed a clip of this - I literally LMAO - too funny - Thank you for finding this and sharing it with us today!!
waving howdy to Sandie, Mo, Lynn D, Zona, Goldie and cpgem - and all who land.
I hope everyone has an excellent day!
:-)
Tina - OMG - I can't imagine what your friend is going thru - thoughts and prayers and extra hugs for you, your family and your friends family......
ReplyDeleteDonna - continued prayers for you and your dad......
ReplyDelete25
ReplyDeleteShirley - somehow - I missed you -
ReplyDeleteGOOD MORNING........
Zonawoman....fun, fun blog! When I think of videos I tend to think of the 80's and the videos I remember are definitely from that era. Your blog inspired me to check out a couple that stood out in my mind...I remembered that they made me laugh. Check out Robin Wiliams in Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry, Be Happy"! Classic!
ReplyDeleteTinka...neighbour lady...hope you are feeling muchly improved today. Thinking about you! Feel better quickly!
Tina...how very sad...that poor family! Many prayers for them and for your family as well!
DonnaH...I am PUSHing! Good thoughts and prayers for you and your Dad!
LynnD...some sad stuff .. good thoughts to you and yours! What's happening in your area with the floods...hope you are high and dry!
Joey..hugs and good thoughts for you and your honey!
Big Canadian sized hugs for all that need them!
Zona:
ReplyDeleteLoved the video today, I had no idea Bruno was in this video, thanks for sharing. I listened to Elton John all the time growing up, he was one of my favs..
And MTV, was def a staple of mine, I remember the first Vjays. I miss those days of simple videos and music that can be understood.
I am actually thrilled with
musicians such as Jason Mraz, Taylor Swift and such, as I understand every word they are saying, and their videos make sense.
I hated, the rap, hip hop era, so glad that has faded a bit.. Lots of violence came with that era as well...
Thanks for writing todays blog and sending it off to me.. It is appreciated so...
:O)
I am going to venture out a bit, so I will see ya all later..
ReplyDelete2nite the Golden Globes, I will def watch some it, I have heard John
Travolta will be there, I am hoping to see him. I have been thinking of him and his family.. so sad...
so.. see ya later..

Tinka update....still not feeling well, so will be off the blog today. She says thanks to everyone for yesterday's good wishes! Has appointed me to be her substitute marcher today so off I go....
ReplyDelete35 for Miss Tink
ReplyDelete36...for Tango
ReplyDelete37 for Tia
ReplyDelete38 for the kitty cat who's name I think is Teddy
ReplyDelete39 for Tink's beautiful grandkids
ReplyDelete40.....woohoo for Tink and feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteSandie Kudos on getting first today!
ReplyDeleteZona Great blog today! I love that song! LMAO @ Bruno! Too funny! One of my favorite songs of Elton's is "I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues". I love the line "rolling like thunder under the covers". You can see the video at:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBc168KPwlg&NR=1
I never really got into MTV. I guess I was a little old for it as I was busy working and raising two little kids. I did think "Thriller" was spectacular, for its time, though.
Mornin' Hooters! Anybody see that biggest of the year full moon last night?
ReplyDeleteMany hugs to Tink, and to all needing them when such bad things happen to good people we know and love.
ZONA~~When I think of the Golden Age of MTV, the videos that immediately play in my head, without even Googling, are:
*Robert Palmer's 'Addicted to Love'
*Wham's 'Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go'
*Dire Strait's 'Money for Nothing (& the chicks are free)'
*Peter Gabriel's 'Sledgehammer'
and, of course, MJ's 'Thriller'.
but, maybe 'cause I was kind of an uptown girly-girl and my ex owned a Union76 in downtown Seattle, one of my all-time faves was Billy Joel's UPTOWN GIRL. Hmmmm, neither marriage lasted, but the musical memories will live on :~)
Bon The moon last night was gorgeous! It was especially impressive when it was still low in the sky and it looked HUGE! :)
ReplyDeleteBon, the moon was creepy for me last night because I'm reading a book about vampires (Dracula, in particular)!! No, not Twilight (although I am going to read that)--it's called The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. It's our next book club book and it's sooooo good. I can't put it down.
ReplyDeleteLoved Addicted to Love, Bon!
VIG, I don't need the hug but I'll take one anyway! So nice to see your smiling face back in the nest. Thanks for the Tinka update. I hope she's better real soon.
Carol, I heard that John Travolta will not be at the Golden Globes tonight. He is remaining in FL with this wife and daughter.
ReplyDeleteSandie:
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update on John Travolta..
Lynn:
I have been feeling the same since New Years Eve.. I know of about 5 ppl that have passed these last two weeks.. One just yesterday.. So upsetting to have so many in such a short time.. Just kinda puts everything in its place..
Bon:
ReplyDeleteLove Billy Joel.. and love that song.. I remember I use to sing it and knew every word.. Fun Memory..
HA! you were Christie Brinkley..
:O)
Vig:
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update on tinka, I hope she feels better soon...
Donnahart:
ReplyDeleteArea 51, good to see here on the nest, I have been thinking about you and glad we are able to stay in touch thru e-mail...
You got a bunch of pushers here..
Whenever you need one, just stop by.. Hope you dad is feeling better soon..
I have been fighting a dry cough. I am at my wits end. It is keeping me up at nights, so my days are very lethargic. I have been taking cough meds, however they are not helping. I went to Walgreens today (yes the one with no public bathroom) and asked the pharmacist what is best to take. She told me to take sudafed and Delsym which is a cough med. I have never taken this cough med before actually never even heard of it. I am so hoping it works, as I have to work tomorrow and need to be bright eyed and bushy tailed..
ReplyDeleteHas anyone had experience with this cough med?
Good afternoon to everyone~
ReplyDeleteCongrats Sandie on first this morning. Btw, your book sounds like it is meant for a midnight read. Enjoy...
Donna~ I agree with Carol, and still 'PUSHing' for your Daddy. I hope he gets better soon.
Carol~I've never heard of that drug, but hope it works. Also, I don't have anything to say about you needing to be brght eyed and bushy tailed for tomorrow. Sounds like a personal problem to me...just sayin'.
Hope everyone is staying warm and giving a ((hug)) to all of you!
Tink~ Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDelete((hugs))
Pushing for Donna!
ReplyDeleteCarol, I had a horrible cough in November, and it lasted and lasted. I got so concerned that I went to the Dr, and he prescribed an inhaler. No OTC product was helping!
On on a happier note... ZONA! This is it! LOVE it! (yes, I am a teenage girl at heart)!!
Love you, Boy!
Thank you, Zona, for a great Sunday blog. I enjoy watching some of those old videos too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Zona, for a great Sunday blog. I enjoy watching some of those old videos too.
ReplyDeleteSee, Zona, I enjoyed it sooooo much I had to tell you twice...
ReplyDeleteHa!

ZONA - Love this blog!! Sir Elton was definitely a fav, and still is!!! I for one was a total Duranie!!! ANYTHING by them is great, but especially RIO and THE REFLEX!!! They definitely were helped out by the infancy of MTV!!!
ReplyDeleteSANDIE - Congrats on first!!!
MO - Congrats on third...so close. :O)
TINA - So sorry about your friend's daughter. Please give your daughter a ((((HUG)))) from WESconsin for me. Such hard lessons for young hearts.
Waving a wing @ LYNN D, GOLDIE (the kids want to go to the mall this afternoon, too....ugh!!!), CAROL, SHIRLEY, MEK, VIG (luv'd your march for TINKA!!!), IBB, JUST SLIN, BON*BON, RONNIE and WHABBY (triple luv Madonna....I totally went thru that whole fashion episode....although I think Vogue is one her finest videos!!!)
I better get off the computer. The kids are bugging the crap out of me to take them shopping.
I'll BBL!!!
Happy Sunday Owls.
ReplyDeleteZona, I am not a big MTV fan. I guess I'm too old. I was married and had 3 kids by the time it premiered. So I don't have a fave music video. However, we did rent Thriller the year it came out and showed it at Chad's birthday party. The kids loved it.
Sandie, I see you are the early bird today. Congrats.
I was feeling better and I went out yesterday, but I think I shouldn't have. I have a fever again today. I haven't read the comments and I am going back to bed. Hopefully, I can catch up later.
Have a good day everyone.

ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteLove the video Zona! Love Elton too! He was one of the first live concerts I ever went to, back when he changed costumes and glasses freqently.
I saw him at the Cow Palace in SF, that's when he was singing that song (can't remember the name now) with Kiki Dee and she showed up too!
Congrats on first Sandie!!
Having computer issues today, my laptop keeps freezing up. Anyone know how to unfreeze it instead of just shutting it off?
Ugh, it's sooo frustrating!
Hope Tink and SacBarb feel better soon.
Carol not familiar with that cough med you mentioned.
Robitussin DM cough syrup, or anything with DM is good to try, I think they make generic products with DM in it.
That's just what my experience is!
Donna good to hear from you, continued good thoughts for your family.
I'm going to try to march to 69 with the virus scan going!
oh crap vig.....didn't know it was you~ sorry~ I saw that we were at 67....and i hurried to sign in....yikes!! can we still be friends? :D
ReplyDeleteHi all, seems to be a quiet Sunday afternoon in the nest. We had a wonderful snow-less day, it is starting to fall again ARGH!! We had a hard time getting out of our driveway on our way to get gross-er-ies. We live at the bottom of a step hill and a hidden drive. The plow trucks closed up our driveway! When we got back out wonderful neighbor had plowed us out! They never accept money, so I think I will get them a gift certificate to a local restaurant.
ReplyDeleteI used to watch a lot of music videos, not so much now.Elton John was one of my faves. any of the bee gees, and of course Madonna.
Donna, it was so good to see that you dropped in last night! We all miss you! I am "pushing" everyday!!
oops missed that one! haha
ReplyDeleteDang Tina...you're fast!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 1st Sandie~
ReplyDeleteThank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers~ I guess the family still hasn't gone home because they just can't face it yet.
Donna~ I'm praying for your family~

Hi Mary~
Hi everyone. Carol- I was told by the pharmacist last year to try Delseym too(sp?) and it worked pretty good. The alternative is the perscription cough med. with codien from the dr.
ReplyDeleteOk- the shopping trip was So Good! I came home with 2 huge bags of stuff. For myself, birthday presents for nephew- grandbaby-mother. They are practically giving it away now. I got 3 shirts for 3.00 each. I got a Nautica jacket that was 100.00 for 24.00 for my nephew. Great deals on the clearance racks!
I a officially shopped out though.
Hope everyone is having a good day and looking forward to the Golden Globes tonight. I wonder if they will say anything about John Travolta and why he isn't there.?
oops...that delete is mine...gotta grammar check and use good English better!!!

ReplyDeleteGoldie~~Good shopping! I got a $44 fake-suede shirt yesterday for $17.60. Not bad.
ReplyDeleteMay/MI~~(from Area 51) I think you'd have BETTER luck in Lost Wages if you leave the NightOwl patch and take ME instead!
Carol~~You almost had it right in your post @ 3:38, but instead of "HA! you were Christie Brinkley.. ." it's more like "YOU were Christie Brinkley?!? HA!!!

Great blog, Zona! My mind went immediately to Springsteen's "Dancing In The Dark".
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pk8VZgJkpeg
While watching that I thought of what was probably my favorite video of all time, "We Are The World".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INwB0BWVDnM
Thank you for bringing that memory back!
No time to read comments at the moment (are you sensing a pattern here?). I didn't get to the boy's room yesterday because cleaning those stairs kicked my patootie. Just finished a late lunch after taking the doggies for our Sunday beach walk and need to get to work!
Have a great evening ... looking forward to watching the Golden Globes tonight!
TINA! Do you know what a fluffer does??? lol
ReplyDeleteEBJ~ nope...what does a fluffer do?
ReplyDeleteBon'o~ are you talking you, me and Mary? or Me, Mary, and Mr. Mary? either way....interesting~ Actually, now that i think about it....you, me and mary would probably get more action than if the Mr was added into the mix~ :D
Here's the description, sorry don't know how to do the blue link!
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluffer
Congrats on first Sandie!
ReplyDeleteZona: great blog...my favorite from MTV the first one I can remember is White Wedding by .....hmm..going to have to look that up.
I hope everyone is having a great Sunday. I have been busy today!
What a great party yesterday, so much fun!
BEBBI...Billy Idol
ReplyDeleteokay then, EBJ~ I don't understand why you just couldn't explain all that to me instead of making me read all that! lol~
ReplyDeleteEBJ...i just looked at the link you gave!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI oce worked at a dept. store during the holidays and I was a "fluffer and folder"! All I did was re-fold shirts and sweaters for hours on end.
No porn involved!!
BonO Not only are you Martha Stewart but now you're Christie Brinkley, too! That makes you the perfect woman! :)
ReplyDeleteEBJ I do happen to know what a fluffer is. LMAO!!!!
Tina With the HO, the Uptown Girl and the Fluffer, there'd be no room for Mr. Mary. LOL
LynnD, that is sad..I am sorry to hear you have had to start 2009 with so much tragedy. :( It does seem like there is a lot of that lately.
ReplyDeleteWell, guys, I am officially wearing reading glasses. I bought 3 pairs today of the 1.25. I am trying to get used to them and wearing them now. Do I look funny?
J?L~~Will you and Lani EVER stop with the Martha? *lol* And, aren't we ALL perfect in cyberspace??
ReplyDeleteBebbi~~Um, funny, No. Fuzzy, yes.
SO excited...off to walk in the 5pm not-yet-sunset. Bring on the longer days!!
ReplyDeleteMO how fun to tell people that you were a fluffer! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteThey may wonder about the folding part, tho!!!
I found out what fluffer meant just recently. A friend was telling me that there was such a job and I didn't believe it.
JL how did you find out what that meant? I can't believe after all these years that I'd never heard of that before.
EBJ My former gay hairdresser told me what a fluffer was. At one time, he did hair and make-up for a gay porn production company. That included putting concealer on blemishes on guys' asses. LOL
ReplyDeleteCarol: I didn't see John Travolta and I switched it to three channels before it started. I wanted to see him too. It is so tragic about his son.
ReplyDeletehaha Bon'O, actually you looked fuzzy..now you look OK!
ReplyDeleteThanks MO!
ReplyDeleteHey Bebbi! Don't you know that glasses make you look smarter? :)
ReplyDeleteROTFLMAO!! Mr Mary would not have the energy for 1,2,or 3 owls!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is that saying :3 Owls in one hand are worth more in their bush" wait, that's not right BWAH HA HA!!
Thanks J/L..I appreciate that. I am trying to get used to them but it is hard because now, far away is fuzzy and up close is clear..I have to always either be putting them up or down. It is rather a lot of work! I have already had to go back in the family room and kitchen because I left them sitting there. I feel really OLD! lol.
ReplyDeleteMary LMAO!!!
ReplyDeleteBebbi That is why I went the optomitrist and got bifocals (invisible line type). They take some getting used to but there's none of the on and off stuff. I don't have to wear them all the time but if I want to read or be on the computer and look up at the TV, which is on the other side of the room, they are perfect. I end up wearing them most of the time for convenience.
ReplyDeleteI will probably get there but not yet, I am new to the whole glasses thing. I did find that I have to scoot my chair in closer because where I had it before was just a little too far for the glasses..lol. It does take some getting used to.
ReplyDeleteBebbi, for vanity reasons I kept hanging my glasses on everything but my nose. After dropping them, losing them, and breaking them, I finally gave up and now leave them on all the time. I figure "who gives a shit" lol! I'm sure 50 years from now someone isn't going to say " Man she looked horrible in them glass" lol!!!
ReplyDeleteBebbi, I'm off to do my machines.
ReplyDeleteTina, that's MACHINES, not toys ;-)
That was sad..thinking about Heath Ledger. :( I am glad he won.
ReplyDeleteOh,my...Golden Globes don't start here for a couple hours but I just came in and checked the red carpet pics online & on TV Guide channel. The 'What NOT To Wear' folks are going to have a field day this year! What WAS that hot pink bubble-train dress??? But, we'll always have J-LO!!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... sounds like the Nest needs a "Porn 101" blog!
ReplyDeleteNot to mention a trip to the Manor's newly installed... dungeon!! LOL!
and Drew Barrymore has my 80's hair~~I want it back!!
ReplyDeleteBack! Still didn't get in to the boy's room yet. Got sidetracked moving furniture around in the front room so I can bring his desk downstairs and take a good picture of it.
ReplyDeleteSandie~congrats on first! Off to read comments .... finally!
Zona: Thanks for that little tid-bit of information about that video. I never knew that was Bruno!
ReplyDeleteSandie, MEK, LynnD, Mary/MI, Tina: Thank you for your continued prayers for my dad and my family. I appreciate all the prayers from EVERYONE!
Carol, Goldie, Ronnie, Whabbear, EastBayJ: Thank you for your concern and support. All this positive energy is definitely helping me pass it along to Dad! He was better today.
Please feel better Tinka! You are my biggest supporter. You've even got a candle burning at church for my dad. I need you well to keep up the good fight. I need you well JUST BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!!!!!
Not going to make it through the Golden Globes. I feel like I'm coming down with a cold or something. Gosh, that's the LAST thing I need right now! Going to bed early and I'll hopefully feel better in the morning. Alarm will be going off at 4:45am. UGH!
Hey Whabby, I talked to Trey Hatfield on facebook and told him about the nest. He said that you had mentioned it to him before and he might try to stop by and check it out.
ReplyDeleteBONO, honey, if your hair looked liked that, then let her keep it! just sayin!!
ReplyDeleteHARTLDO...nice to see you. I hope you'll keep coming back {{hugs}}
Whab....i knew there was a blog i wanted to write~ :D
ReplyDeleteCaryn~ how does that wii age thing work? do i have to actually by a wii? :)~
Mary~ lmao~ mr mary~
hart~ glad you stopped by~
bebbi~ i love ur glasses~ makes ya look hotter!~
I just thought I'd drop in before the Golden Globes comes on here in the West and what do I see....a spoiler!! I should have waited until they were over.
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone had a good Sunday.
Just a reminder to all...we have owls in all time zones, including Hawaii which is 5 hours behind eastern time, so when there is something on tv that could be spoiled (like who got voted off A.I or DWTS or wins awards), please be aware that others may not have seen the show yet.
ReplyDeleteIf there is a shocker you want to share with someone, try to do it thru other means.

ReplyDeleteGolden Globes not-a-spoiler
I watched it off and on so I missed a few things. I will tell you that there was an "oopsie" shown here near the end. I am wondering if it will be deleted for the West Coast.
Hey, Mary....MS me the spoiler. I'm not sure I can take another 2 1/2 hrs. of this! (Trying to 'do stuff' while keeping one ear tuned in for anything good.)
ReplyDeleteMARY...me too! I switched to Brothers and Sisters and missed the end! Also, tell me who won for best actress in a series!
