I thought I was just going to hear Wynonna sing this beautiful song when I found this video, but when I watched it, I cried and it reminded me that when we lose someone, the only thing that we can do is give thanks for the time we had with them. I never watched Touched by an Angel, but I heard that it was a very special show. I love Wynonna’s voice. It’s so powerful and I think this song is perfect for a Sunday, no matter what your personal beliefs are.
This Night Owl Blog has given so much! It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"! We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly. And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :) It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!

hi
ReplyDeleteyippee! Off to read!!
ReplyDeleteHi scirish!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 1st and 2nd...
Morning Birdee! Are you still cold?
ReplyDeleteGood morning to
ReplyDeleteSCIRISH and BRRRRDDDDDEEEEE!!
How ya doing?
Whew...I had some kind of God awful tummy thing yesterday, it was rumbling so much that I thought it was trying to play a tune! I think I must have at least lost a pound or two!
ReplyDeleteGoing to catch up on comments!
Awww...Donna I'm so sorry!!!
ReplyDeleteIteach...Sorry to hear about your Grandma...
ReplyDeleteSacBarb...I don't remember how long it was before the facing started to curl/peel off. Mom had a home improvement company do it and they did come back to re-glue, but it just did it again. We ended up using double sided tape but needless to say, Mom was not happy!
ReplyDelete10!
ReplyDeleteSCIRISH...I'm glad your tummy is better today. I had a bit of a tummy issue last night, but mine was self inflicted...I grazed ALL day!
ReplyDeleteYou get 2 checkmarks today...1st and 10th!
I just looked out the window and there is something weird out there, something I don't recognize...SUNSHINE!! I hope it lasts. Too bad it is sooooo damn cold.
ReplyDeleteDONNA and ITEACH...you are both in my thoughts today.
ReplyDelete{{{HUGS}}}
Mo...It is a stellar day when you get 2 checkmarks!
ReplyDeleteWe have sunshine too and it's blinding!! Unfortunately it is a rather nippy 11 degrees..
Wow! I have black circles under my eyes like I was on an all night bender...Must be from all that aerobic pooping!
ReplyDeleteSCIRISH...what state are you in? We seem to have similar weather
ReplyDeleteScirish,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on first! My tummy rumbles everyday! :O) Glad you feel better..
Waving madly @
ReplyDeleteScirish, Mo, Birdee and me.. :O)
Tina,
ReplyDeleteI never watched touched by angel, this video tugs at your heart strings, however what a beautiful song, and so true. Thanks for sharing..
Hope you are enjoying the warmth of AZ, it is 17 here in NJ.. Birdee is right Brrrrrr....
DonnaHart,
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your dad, I am thinking of you and your family..

Mo....I love in Massachusetts. it does seem odd that the weather is the same in Wisconsin!
ReplyDeleteCAROL...right back attcha!
ReplyDelete;)
Errrr...That should be LIVE
ReplyDelete30!!
ReplyDeleteSCIRISH...I'm not really in Wisconsin! I WAS born there, but I live in Ohio...Cleveland-ish! I prolly should change my ms one of these days!
ReplyDeleteMEK...g-morning to you! Olive Garden sounds like a blast. I had no doubt that the 4 of you would laugh, laugh, laugh...
Ewwwwww....Dog throw up!!! Maybe he caught my tummy bug?
ReplyDeleteTina - GREAT CHOICE TODAY!!!
ReplyDeleteI was very sad when "Touched by an Angel" went off the air. I LOVED that show..
I remember this episode!!! Very sad.
Great song...
It's very fitting for today!!
(((HUGS)))
Mo...Well that actually makes more sense...lol. You really aren't THAT far away from me.
ReplyDeleteMo...We used to have an airbus that went from here to Cleveland...We were going to take it in the Spring just because it was so inexpensive and we thought the Cleveland Zoo sounded like fun. Unfortunately, it went out of business a month ago.
ReplyDeleteSCRISH...LOL! We are almost neighbors!
ReplyDeleteScirish,
ReplyDeleteYou are almost neighbors with a cute piggy.. How fun!
Mek,
ReplyDeleteI am waving my wing.. do you see me..
Shirley,
Hope you have a good day today, miss ya.. ♥♥♥
SCIRISH...there really are a lot of things to do in Cleveland and surrounding areas. Yes, the Zoo is terrific. We have the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, an awesome interractive Science Center, Art Museum, Cuyahoga Valley National Park w/ a steam engine train that runs thru it, the West Side Market is an incredible farmers market, great restaurants, quaint towns and big cities. And a river that once caught fire ;)~
ReplyDeleteThere are a few pics on ms showing a few things.
We also have the highest unemployment rate, higher then the national rate. We have the highest foreclosure rates.
ReplyDeleteI guess as they say in the lyrics to Facts Of Life...you take the good, you take the bad...
Mo...We were going to try and see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame too, but the river that caught on fire sounds like more fun....Do you think they would do that again???
ReplyDeleteGood morning,
ReplyDeleteI have never heard that song before, but it is beautiful.
This morning I got an email from my mom, her brother is dying of cancer and suddenly turned for the worse last night. They only started him on Hospice the day before yesterday.
My mom and dad immediately left to drive to Scottsdale (burb of Phoenix).
Our family has lost someone every year in Jan. or Feb. for the past 6 years, except for a break last year.
Sorry to add to the sadness the past few days, but as long as everyone is sending good thoughts I thought I would ask for some sent my uncle's way.
I hate the thought of anyone suffering or being in pain. His cancer has spread in under a year from a lung to the liver, brain, other lung, and as of 2 days ago, the spine.
Hugs to Donna H & Iteach. Scrish congrats on 1st, and I am glad you are better today!
I am getting tax stuff together today, trying to not wait til the last minute this time!
Mo my mom was born in Wisconsin too, still have lots and lots of relatives there!
OK I will be back, the sun is out and I feel motivated. Have a nice Sunday everyone!
Carol, I think I am closest to you...Don't you live near the GW bridge?
ReplyDeleteEBJ...thoughts and prayers to you, your uncle and family.
ReplyDelete{{hugs}} to all the owls and their families
Good Morning OWLETTES!!!
ReplyDeleteScirish .. Congrats on first... Glad you are feeling better today..
BIRRRDDDEEE... Morning....
MOOOOOOOOOOOO...Morning...
our weather is the same today... sun shining but we are up to 25* already/...
Waving a wing at Carol.. MEK..
EBJ... Keeping your uncle in our thoughts and prayers...
Donna.... Iteach... More {{{{HUGS}}}}} and thoughts and prayers...
I need to go listen to the song!!
Hope every one has a great day...
Glad the Owls had fun in AZ..
One of these days I will have an Owl Meeting..
Scirish,
ReplyDeleteI think I am about a hr away from the GW bridge, so perhaps I am closer..
EBJ,
Thinking of you and your family and sending good wishes...
I am off to start my day.. It is my eldest nephews birthday today 29! We are all going out to dinner 2nite, I can't believe he is 29, I remember when he was born, I was 19, I cried when I saw him from pure happiness, he has brought me so much joy, I am so very lucky..
ReplyDeleteSee ya all later..
Good Morning Scirish - first again. You must be in the lead.
ReplyDelete49
ReplyDelete50
ReplyDeleteRosie has updated her site, and her Aak Ro is working as well, I sent her a Ask Ro, telling her I missed her..
ReplyDeleteSo very glad she decided to cheat..
Oh Goodie! I got 50. Did I step on you Carol? Sorry if I did.
ReplyDeleteCrap...
ReplyDeleteAak should be Ask..
oops.. :O)
Hi Tinka! ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteNo, Tinka you did not step on me, and if you did I am very sure it would be a gently step.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Birdee, Maureen, Mek, East Bay J,and Ibebold.
ReplyDeleteVIG - I hope you are feeling better today.
Zona - You must tell me all the news.
Good Morning Everyone!
ReplyDeleteTINA: I love Wynonna, she has an amazing voice. I've never heard this song before, but love the way it shows there can be a special joy in a time of great sorrow. Thank you for the beautiful song choice today.
ITEACH and DONNA: Please know that I've been thinking of you, and I'm saying prayers that you may be comforted during this difficult time. The loved ones you have lost are not that far away..and are smiling down on you today. {{hugs}} to you both.
Tina - I loved your choice of video. I also loved "Touched by an Angel". I remember crying over that episode when it first played. I wish they would re-run them. There was one beautiful show about a young girl who adored Elvis. She dies at the end listening to him sing. That one stayed with me for a long time.

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Zona-my-baby.
ReplyDeleteI just read the comments and I see I have missed a lot. I must go back and read previous comments. I will be back.
I haven't had a chance to read the comments since TINA and DIANNE arrived, but I wanted to thank everyone for their comments on my blog yesterday. I will be catching up on Monday!
ReplyDeleteI've been having a blast. TINA and DIANNE are soooo much fun. Their tag-team humor makes me laugh so hard tears run down my face. I can barely sit still for pictures because I am constantly laughing. I'm so glad that they came to Arizona. So frickin' glad.
Waving HI to everyone..SCIRISH(congrats on FIRST), BIRDEEEEE!!, MO!!!, CPGEM :D, MEK (great fun yesterday..WHIOGSIOG!), EBJ :), IBB :), and my wonderful cybermom..TINKA!!
Have a nice day everyone..our weather here is perfect and the company is stellar. I can't believe I'm this lucky.
SWAK! Be good or good at it! :D
Donna - I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I am also sorry I haven't been there for you these past few days. I will light a candle for him today. I will also message you.
ReplyDeleteIteach - I am sad to hear about your loss. Grandma's are such special people. Not everyone is lucky enough to have know theirs. I bet you have some wonderful memories. I will light a candle for her too.

ReplyDeleteI had a wonderful day with my son and his dad, his wife, and of course my favourite baby in the world. We had a great day.
ReplyDeleteToday we are going to celebrate Chinese New Year's (which starts tomorrow) by going out for a Chinese Dinner with the whole family. It should be fun. I will be back later tonight.
Good afternoon to
ReplyDeleteIBB
TINKA
ZONA (and therefore TINA and DIANNE!)
That oddity...the sunshine...has gone back into hiding. It's 13 degrees.
Mo...Can you please tell the story about the burning river???? For some reason that tickles the hell out of me!
ReplyDeleteEBJ....Saying a prayer for your Uncle and family.
ReplyDeleteZona....I'm soooo jealous!!!! ( the exclamation points are just for you!!) Glad you are having such a blast!!!!!!
ReplyDelete75
ReplyDeleteSCIRISH...The river was so polluted it caught on fire! And if that isn't funny enough, the same mayor at the time set his hair on fire at a bowling alley! Both were accidents!! BTW, the river and our great lake are clean now! you can even swim in the lake!
ReplyDeleteCrap...it's snowing
Good Morning, Sunshines~
ReplyDeleteScirish~ congrats on 1st~ lol at you loving in Mass~ :D
Hello to Birdee and Mo and IBB~
Carol~ thanks, crackho~
MEK~ (these two are running me ragged!) :D I know, huh? I picked this song when Ellie died....not even realizing~
EBJ~ praying for your uncle~
hello Tinka~ That Elvis episode sounds so pretty~
Zona~ (even tho you are sitting right here) I don't think i really want that 69~ tyvm! :)~ I love Wy's voice too.....so powerful~
Donna and iteach~ continued prayers~
Well....i must get in the shower....Di and Zona are running me ragged......and they drink SO MUCH!!! I'm going to be a lush when i get home! :)~
scirish Congrats on #1! I wonder if you're in the lead now. You really made me LOL @ aerobic pooping! I hope you're back to normal today.
ReplyDeleteTina Gee, thanks for making me cry this morning. Love having tears with my cake!
EBJ I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle. I'll be keeping your family in my thoughts.
Donna and iteach Keeping you in my thoughts, as well.
I feel bad that so many Owls are sad and grieving.
I just heard about Donna's Dad. Donna, to you and Iteach, all my support and good wishes.
ReplyDeleteI'm struck by "circle of life" issues today. Carol's life is so enriched by her nephew, who she's known his entire life. Zona's life is enriched by the owl friends she has made, and was able to visit yesterday.
It's all so brief and mysterious! The selection of fellow humans we are fortunate (and sometimes not so fortunate) to meet and get to know is so pernicious, and before we know it, they, and eventually we, are gone!
Cherish your loved ones today, owls, and keep them close.
The Manor is hushed and decorated in dark colors today. I feel like we're all dropping in there at one time or another, just to connect with each other.
Good Morning SCIRISH, BIRDEE, NO, CAROL, MEK, EBJ, IBB, TINK, ZONA, TINA & SLIN
ReplyDeleteMy condolences to DIANNE & ITEACH & EBJ.
I did see that episode of Touched By An Angel TINA. I was a real tear jerker as is the song. Even though the song brings tears, it also brings comfort.
TINK, If you happen to get the Hallmark channel in Victoria, it broadcasts Touched By An Angel.
Yo SLIN, what did you have for breakfast today!?
CAROL, I am glad Mickey left the premises safely.
Congratulations to CAROLYN.
Slani Hmmmm, let's see if I can remember. What did I have for breakfast today? Oh, yes! CAKE!!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteJUST LIN...just how big was this cake????? lol!
ReplyDeleteCAROL...Happy Birthday to nephew #1!
Whabby,
ReplyDeleteI loved your post, I could not have said it any better.. so very true..
Thanks so much for always being so insightful.. You are a good bear, naughty at times, but good..
I am off to dinner with the fam, see ya all later..
:O)
Mo,
ReplyDeleteThank You! :O)
Good afternoon everyone.
ReplyDeleteTina,I loved the video.I love all music that has harmony. The choir was fabulous! I love to sing Wy's songs. I have many on my Karaoke files.
Yes, it has been a sad week for our owls and their Families.EBJ,so sorry about your Uncle.
Whabbear, you always know just what to say. I esp. like the "connecting" part. I feel like breaking out in "We are Family"!
I adore all of you!
Carol. I love the way you "connect" with your Nephew. I try to do the same with my Nieces. "Making memories" for them is always a "good thing"
OK, I am done "quoting" lol!
Zona-who-is-basking-in-sunshine &-owls, so glad you are enjoying the nesters!
Mr Mary is doing better. He must be, he just left for the VFW to infect his buddies lol! I can't think of a better way to pass germs, then to play cards!
Am I missing something or has SANDIE not been here in a few days?
ReplyDeleteMARY...glad MR. MARY is well enough to go and infect his buddies!!
Tina: Great video and perfect timing with the sad occasion of Donna's father's passing.
ReplyDeleteDonna: You have been in my thoughts so much since I heard. I am so sorry for your loss and hope that you are holding up okay. You did so much, both you, your sis and your mom. Just thinking of you a lot. Big hug.
Scirish: Congrats on first. I hope you haven't been eating peanut butter! With that big recall on peanut butter products, I hope you did eat any.
ReplyDeletegoing to read more comments.
iteach: I went hatchlings crazy last night and got over 600 of them. Stayed up until 3:30 a.m...sheesh.
Maureen For lunch I had soup and CAKE! It is a sheet cake and Lani only ate two pieces of it. You are right. Sandie has been MIA for a few days. Hope everything is okay.
ReplyDeleteMary Playing cards is an excellent way for Mr. Mary to infect his buddies. Kissing them would be even better but I guess he's not about to do THAT! LOL
MO: I heard sunshine was extinct!! I am so glad to hear you spotted some.
ReplyDeleteTouched by an Angel reminds me of my great uncle and Aunt. They loved that show so much. It brought them a lot of joy.
ReplyDeleteMary: Glad that Mr. Mary is feeling better! I love that he is going to infect all his card buddies..LOL!! Too funny, you crack me up lady!

ReplyDeleteWhabby: Your post made me cry. Very true and incredulous how we all lean a little on each other. Hugs and thanks for expressing that so well. I just am really sad for all the Owls that have had family deaths or sickness. :(
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bebbi, Mary and Carol! I'm getting set to shower and shave so I can be a little bad at the Lone Star Beer Bust... but I'll raise a private toast to the owls!
ReplyDeleteBig Announcement!!!!!
ReplyDeleteALL: Rosie has her "Ask a Question" BACK UP! OMG, I about peed my panties I was so excited to see that. I love that woman...go and say hi to her and I told her to come by here and visit us, because we all love her so much!! :) Woo hoo...!!
Rosie's Back...back again...*bopping all around*
*raising a glass with Whabby* Here's to all our Owls, may we all find peace and love and yellow in our lives, always. And, may we always have each other to lean on when things get a little crunchy or blue.
ReplyDelete**clink*clink**Raising my glass with Bear and Bebbi.
ReplyDeleteI got a new owl image..want to see what it looks like here.
ReplyDeleteWhat green eyes you have, Bebbi!
ReplyDeleteThanks J/L...I do have quite big lime green eyes..naturally of course! ;)
ReplyDeleteBebbi I have green eyes but they're not that green!
ReplyDeleteCan I say that one of my favorite actor's just won in the SAG Awards? Is it live, would I be spoiling?
ReplyDeleteMy eyes are brown but my daughter says they look almost green sometimes. They are lighter brown I guess. I have heard that from others too in the past. BUT, I didn't get the owl because it had green eyes. It is a new hatchling! hehe. :)
ReplyDeleteDonna and Iteach - I'm very sorry to here of your losses. I know how hard it is to lose someone close to you.
ReplyDeleteEBJ - praying for your uncle.
Hi Dianne! Hope you are well! I bet you had a wonderful weekend...I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO envious!
ReplyDeleteHi Everyone,
ReplyDeleteI had this wonderful long post that I thought posted earlier today, and now I don't see it. So I'm going to see if I remember it.
I'm really having fun in Arizona and I've enjoyed meeting Tina and Zona. They are really corrupting me and Mr. D might not let me come home. Mr. Z is excited about that!
There is one bad thing here: I have seen three Cardinals shirts, and one of them was on MEK. I thought this city would have tents, stores, banners, and flags for their SuperBowl Cardinals. Heck, we have them for the Broncos even when we're not in the SuperBowl!
Rambone, that's what I call Mr Z, has been wearing a Bronco shirt and a Bronco hat since I got here. And Zona even tells me he wears the hat to bed. When I get my "digital" camera processed, I'll post the picture of him in his clothes. I mean, in his Bronco attire. Shoot! I forgot to buy him pants.
MEK, it was really nice to see you again. Sorry for flipping food on you.
I have to go now so I can start writing my letter to the editor so they sell the Cardinals to Utah where they will be appreciated.
Also, thank you to sweet Tina for taking my dictation and typing all this for me while I prop my feet up in Rambone's chair.
Hi Bebbi - we are off to dinner and a movie. Hope you have a good night.
ReplyDeleteHave fun! Hope the movies good!! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday night Owls.
ReplyDeleteTina, I have never heard this song before but I like it. I loved the show Touched by an Angel and was sorry to see it canceled. Thanks for sharing this song with us today, Tina.
Dianne, Your long post is in area 51. Were you sober when you posted it?
Carol, Happy birthday to your nephew.
EBJ, praying for your Uncle.
Donna and Iteach, my deep sympathy for your loss.
I've been really busy today and I'm hungry now so I'm going to find some dinner. Wish I had some CAKE!
Hello and a big hug to all the other Owls. BBL
Sacbarb: I have some cheesecake if you like it. I need to get it out of my fridge! It has been a dangerous thing to have around!!! I had two pieces of it today..>>UGH!
ReplyDeleteDianne - SOOOOOOOOOO, was it a successful blog buddy meeting??!!
ReplyDeleteLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tina - i could NOT resist!!!! Did you take Dianne to buy her shirts!??
Zona - you are going to miss them when they are gone!!!
Hope dinner is good - and enjoy the movie!!
120
ReplyDeleteJust Lin - can I have a piece of cake??!!
ReplyDeletesending thought, prayers and hugs to anyone that needs one!!!
ReplyDeleteHey y'all!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about the losses of Iteach, Dianne(I think I missed something though) and Donna!
I loved your post whabbear!!
On a lighter note, Dianne, I see you call MR. Z, "RAMBONE"? lol
(here comes the porn Carol lmao)
I saw a porn many years ago called "Rambone the Destroyer"
ROFLMAO
Wonders if it was Mr. Z haha
Bebbi, I'll take some of that cheesecake please! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 1st scirish!
My DVR didn't record "Prayers for Bobby" although it was set:(
It repeated tonight and also this Tuesday night though!
*handing Joey a nice big piece of Cheesecake* ...Thank you Joey! I am too tempted by this stuff. It is so good. I got it at Costco (of course..hehe)
ReplyDeleteBebbi - the SAG Awards are just coming on in my time zone -
ReplyDelete*shaking my head about the Rambone comment* Actually Joey, I thought it sounded kinda "pornish" too. hehe...but I wouldn't ask..lol.
ReplyDeleteBebbi - I can't imagine that you went to COSTCO!!!
ReplyDeleteLMAO!!!
:-)
Mek, good, glad I didn't say who won then!! LOL, I thought it was live but was afraid to say anything in case it wasn't. Turns out, caution was best.
ReplyDeleteMEK Guess what I had for dessert tonight? CAKE! I'm afraid it was the last piece (finally). Sorry!
ReplyDeleteBebbi - did the sound kinda drag when it started ....... it's almost like those old reel tapes that get stuck in the projector.
ReplyDeletehaha..Mek! Well, actually I did. Also, that poor cheesecake got pushed off of the diet cokes and turned upside down right when I was getting in my car. I had to go back in and explain to the lady why I needed the "Happy 21st Birthday Elizabeth" redone. There was frosting all over the top of the container. Luckily, the lady was very nice and re-did it. She even gave me a new lid. Phew.!
ReplyDeleteJust Lin - I can't believe you ate the LAST piece!!!
ReplyDeletebebbi - I'm sure that you got it live - we are always on tape delay
I didn't see the beginning Mek, so I don't know. I was mostly listening to it in the other room. Just got excited when an actor I love won.
ReplyDeletedid you lick the icing out of the container - that is the best part!!!
ReplyDeleteMek, I have plenty of cheesecake..haha..:) I am being a food pusher again, huh Joey..roflmao.
ReplyDeleteNo, because I was embarrassed that I couldn't even handle a cake out to my car without messing it up. My daughter would have shot me if I had started licking the lid in the bakery before I handed it back to the lady..roflmao..Sorry the image of that just makes me giggle.
ReplyDeleteI just saw the post that Carol already reported that Rosie's "ask ro" was back up, man..I need to do a better job reading the comments..lol..
ReplyDeletebebbi - you could have taken a great big ole finger swipe of the icing!!!
ReplyDelete:-)
140
ReplyDeleteMek, True..but believe me, my daughter gets embarrassed easily and she would have been mad as heck..haha. :) It did look good though. I had a nice COUPLE of pieces of it today...!! Yummm..but I should have had only one. Oh well, I did good all weekend except for that.
ReplyDeleteBebbi, J/L, Hartldo, iteach, and all owls: Swear to God... I toasted you when, out of nowhere (never heard it before at Lone Star Beer Busts) the DJ played Seasons in the Sun!
ReplyDeleteWhabby ...That should be our THEME SONG...The nest ... Seasons in the Sun..
ReplyDeleteHow appropriate...
HEy BEbbi...MEK...
ReplyDeletedidn't watch the awards show... WORKED...
it was slow... but tips were O.K...
Whabby, that is cool. I love that song. That would make a great theme song for the Owl's Nest!!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I have in my fridge to toast with is Jello shots leftover from my son's girlfriend's b-day party..lol. Jello Shots for All!! woooo hoo..okay, maybe not for all, some of us have to work in the morning.
With that, I will be saying goodnight. I hope everyone sleeps tight and doesn't let the Bed Bug Bite! Sweet dreams!
Glad tips were okay IBB. I am back to work in the a.m., so heading to hit the hay. Take care!
ReplyDeletelol Joey~ THAT'S exactly where Rambone came from!!! Mr and Mrs Zona watched that when they were first married......and he was RAMBONE!!!!! lmao~~~
ReplyDeleteMEK!~ ur nasty~ :)~
sacbarb~ lmao....I told her to look in the old blogs for her post!!!!! I should have looked for her~ (Di really has been drinking a ton since we got here!)
ReplyDeleteMEK, I'm watching the SAG awards. The sound was bad in the beginning here too. I'm not impressed with some of the outfits and Ann Hathaway's hair looks like it needs to be combed. IMO
ReplyDeleteBear, I secretly paid the DJ to play that song. LOL
Bebbi, Thanks, I love Costco cheesecake.

ReplyDeleteTina, I hope Dianne isn't driving.
ReplyDeleteWOOO HOOO ... COngrats on 150 barb..

I have to be on the road REALLY early!!!
YIKES..........
OK SACBARB, I was not drinking that much. I had one Italian Marg and that was it. I am the oldest and I had to keep an eye on the other three...I have to be the responsible one!
ReplyDeleteWe ended up not going to the movie as TINA was too tired after dinner. You know how those kids are.....maybe tomorrow but we have to get up and have breakfast and then have lunch and then have our afternoon snack before our plane leaves. ZONA is paying for our lobster omelette in the morning.
JOEY: You are so right about the movie. I can't believe that someone really has seen this movie and it was the wedding night movie! Little Rambone---he's so cute!
TINA: Great blog today...I have never heard the song but it reminded me how much I miss the show.
Just dropping by on my way to bed.
ReplyDeleteI am loving all the Rambone banter!
Whabbear. I remember that song
I think it started like
"There was joy,there was fun"
"There was seasons in the sun"...
I hope some one googles it. I am sure I have it on Karaoke. I'll have to check tomorrow.
Goodnight all!!
Mary I'm pretty sure that's the song, too. Good night!
ReplyDeleteoh my Lord!!!! I'm so tired....but it's a good tired!!! I haven't laughed this hard in so long. All three of us feel like we've been crying....but a good cry~ Di and Zona are hilarious~ :D
ReplyDeleteFor Mary.
ReplyDeleteSeasons In The Sun
Goodbye to you my trusted friend
We've known each other since we were nine or ten
Together we've climbed hills and trees
Learned of love and ABC's
Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees
Goodbye my friend it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that spring is in the air
Pretty girls are everywhere
Think of me and I'll be there
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time
Goodbye Papa please pray for me
I was the black sheep of the family
You tried to teach me right from wrong
Too much wine and too much song
Wonder how I got along
Goodbye papa it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that the spring is in the air
Little children everywhere
When you see them I'll be there
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
Goodbye Michelle my little one
You gave me love and helped me find the sun
And every time that I was down
You would always come around
And get my feet back on the ground
Goodbye Michelle it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that the spring is in the air
With the flowers everywhere
I wish that we could both be there
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time
We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone
