~ George Not Included ~

by Tina~in_ut

I think George Clooney could sell anything. Here he is in an Italian commercial for the Fiat Idea. Who really cares about the car?!!!! I'm with her. If I found George in my car, you bet I'd lock the doors so he couldn't get away!! And then I'd drive off with him! (and then I'd wake up!) :D

  1. Di~ how are you going to make Zona pick up the necklace?~

  5. Happy Tuesday Owls.

Good Morning Tina. What a thrill to wake up to George. Thanks for that.

Thanks also to MEK for posting updates about my son and for all the prayers and good wishes. We are both hanging in there.

I am extending my stay here so I can help out a little more. I think it's for me more than for Chad. The control freak in me needs to know what's going on and be able to do something about it. Plus, there is more cleaning to do here in this bachelor pad. LOL So as of now, I will be here until July 9th.

I can't belive I spelled tieing, tying! Is either right? LOL I was just to excited by seeing George so early in the morning.

I need to get ready for the day. Ritchie and his Mommy and Daddy are leaving this morning for Wyoming and I will not see them for months. :(

I also have to go speak to a youth group this morning about the food bank. They are doing a food drive for us.

    Will be back later.

  10. Hey Zona and Lynn. Good to 'see' you.

Lynn, I had such a good time on Saturday. You are exactly what I thought you would be...sweet, funny, cute, and thoughtful. Thanks for the gift. It will have a prominent place in my home when I get back. Thanks to your daughter, too, for driving you and for the good advice about the feed back we will be giving to the hospital.

Zona, did you get my text from the other day? I hope all is well with you.

I'm off to play Mom and nurse. Will get back when I can. ♥♥♥♥ U all.

    ReplyDelete
  11. LYNND: I spelled it that way too..and then googled it..it said tying was the "present participle of tie"..right, wrong..idk..

Good morning, Tina, Zona, MEK, Lynn D, and Tina!

I'm feeling pensive today. Jim has flown back to Ohio to be with his Dad, perhaps for the last time. At 96, he's failing fast.

SacBarb, good to see you posting. I hope Chad has smooth sailing now.

Bear, sorry to hear about Jim's dad.

Shout out to MEK, Zona, Carol and Lynn!

Nancy has a problem with one of her eyes, so I will be calling the vet shortly to get her an appt. today. Here lower R eyelid is a little swollen, and it looks like she is winking.

We just noticed it yesterday afternoon, not sure what she might have done to it.

Hope everyone has a good day today!

  22. I'm back from the dog park.. the little's little friend didn't show up again this am. - so, I'm sure she'll be mooping around again...

  25. CAROL: Remember how I said maybe you should take it a little easier at the gym so your ankles wouldn't hurt? I pushed myself yesterday and did more than 20 laps..now my shoulder is aching something awful. I don't listen too well do I? ;)

BEAR: {{HUGS}} to you and Jim..

EBJ: I hope all Nancy needs is an eyedrop! :)

TINA: Order's up! Come and get it! ;)

MEK: I just went outside to turn the pool off..and it's not too bad. Overcast with a little breeze..

  27. Ok guys I am a mess! I am crying and sad. My baby left. Both babies. I will be worried until they arrive in Wyoming. I did not think it would be this hard to say good bye.

I went and spoke to the youth group and barely made it through with out breaking into tears.

Whabby I am so sorry for Jim. (((Hugs))) to you both.

Going to cry. I can't see the screen.

  28. Good morning/afternoon everyone. It is after noon here in hot & sunny Michigan.
Tina, you know I love this hunka hunka burning love! In the same Elvis theme, I would love to say to him "One Night With You, is what I am praying for" lol!!

SacBarb, I remember going to my Son's bachelor pad many years ago. I think the worst was the bathroom!
You are doing what I would do. I would not want to leave either. It's a Mom thing. He is still in my prayers.

Lynnd & Zona, I thought school was out for the summer lol!I hear some country is doing away with the "i" before "e" concept.

Whabbear,Losing a parent is so sad. I will be thinking of Jim, and your missing him :(

    Waving at Zona,MEK & Carol~~~

    ReplyDelete
  29. EBJ, I forgot to wave at you! I hope the little one's eye is ok!

LynnD,now you have me sniffling! You reminded me of when my son left for his Marine training in San Diego. As he drove away I followed him by foot until I couldn't see his car anymore!
    I was a mess!

    ReplyDelete
  30. nobody home eh?

Tina, I find it ironic that you did today's blog on My Georgie and right across is my quote-of-the-day- lol!! Now THAT mouthful I would gladly take bwah ha ha!!

  31. I'm eating my mac & cheese and having a good cry with everyone.

Sometimes a good cry is needed.....

  32. Hey y'all! flying by to say HEY and thanks for the comments(on myspace) about my Dad's death. It's been a very rough week+

I am taking it one day at a time and know that I will come hang out with y'all soon. Sunday was especially hard. My brothers and I did reconnect with our half sister through all of this! We had not seen her since she was a baby.

    have a great day y'all!

    ReplyDelete
  33. P.S. When we went to my Dad's house in Charlotte, NC, he had an owl incense burner on his bookcase in the office!!:) It made me smile & think of y'all....I'm trying to talk my sister into giving it to me!:)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Joey Again, my sincere condolences on the loss of your father. I am glad to hear that you have reconnected with your sister. Maybe that is the blessing that can come from this sad time. I hope you get the owl incense burner. I think it was meant to be yours and it was a sign to let you know we were all there with you. :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. Tina Congrats on first and thank you for bringing George to us today. What a fine, fine looking man he is. If I was the swooning type, I'd definitely swoon over him.

Hey Carol! You got 25. Did you know that? Congrats!

SacBarb Hopefully, everything will go smoothly for Chad from here on out. It must be so comforting for him to have you there to help him and maybe baby him just a little. :) Continued positive, healing thoughts to Chad.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Mary that is just how I felt. I wanted to tie myself to the car.

Iteach I have had a good cry. I hope it helps as I do not cry often.

Joey I really hope your sister gives you the owl incense burner. I hope that your connection with her grows stronger each day!

    Hi Just Lin!

Going drag myself around my empty house and figure out where to start cleaning first.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Georgie is a handsome guy, but I'll pass....now the driver....

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hugs to those that need them.....

    ReplyDelete
  39. hmmm TINA, I'll take two of the above!!

BEAR: Sorry about Jim's father. He is certainly lived a long life of 96 years! I often wonder if I will even make half that time in life.

MARY: It sounds like you deserve a day off. Is your husband out digging that trench as we talk?

LYNN; I'm sorry you are sad. Where in Wyoming are your kids moving? Do they work there? I guess you will have to come for a visit and swing thru Colorado...we are pretty close to Wyoming..only about 2 hours away. I think you need a marg and a Whopper! :)

Well ZONA, I think we have "a problem in Denver". This necklace is just sitting here in the box wishing it was on it's way to Arizona. How about you do like we did in the old days...hitch a ride?

SACBARB: Glad you are able to stay longer with your son. I know you will feel better watching over him for awhile. This is really when you are glad you don't have a job and can take care of your family...one of the advantages of getting older.

JOEY: Sending thoughts out to you.

    ReplyDelete
  40. EUNICE: Do you have a mudpack on to make you even more beautiful...if that is possible? I can't wait to see the results. I hope your hairstyle turns out different this time. Good Luck.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Hello Hooters!! I hope everyone had a great Monday!

Tina.. What does your husband say with you lusting after men??? Mine would see if he couldn't unload me onto someone else.

I'm so glad Joey stopped in. I am sad that I missed him.

I am thinking happy thoughts for everyone!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Diane, no, Mr Procrastinator has gone with a friend to the Casino!
He did mow the lawn yesterday. He may have strained something! yeah right!
I went out and checked his "handy work" and couldn't believe he had mowed around all the mud/dirt clumps I had dug out. As I remember last time I moved them...not this time Mr! lol!!
ok, I'm done ranting, who started me anyway? Oh yeah Diane :)!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Bonacci~ I brought a picture of my husband into work one day....the girls were so amazed that I married someone that looked like George Clooney. I thought they were all on crack! But that one picture, upon further inspection....did actually make him look just like him~ .....and....my hubby has wanted to unload me on someone else for a long time~

Di~ Just pay for her to fly up and get it already~ You make the big bucks....you can afford it! :)~

Mary~ You may want to smack that man! :D (btw....that's MY QOTD!!! ...don't be confusing Shirley!!!!)

Joey~ Glad you stopped by...been thinking about you~

LynnD~ I don't think it's a big deal that you are going drag around your house! Now if Bear did it....I'd want pictures~ ijs~

Kgrl~ who else would get 69~ Glad I could provide that girl for you~

SacBarb~ So nice to see you today~

I'm off to dinner with the family to celebrate my 17 yr old brat's birthday....thought I'd never see this day~

....but before I go....here's my call of the day: Lady called to ask about fares.....while i was checking, she asked me, "Could I bother you to tell me which airline I called?" I laughed so hard.....told her she won call of the day~

    ReplyDelete
  44. I can testify on Mr Tina looking like G.Clooney. He is one nice piece lol!!
Tina I don't believe he would ever "unload" you. You two look great together, and make cute babies ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  45. Joey: I just now read that you lost your father. I am sorry for your loss. I am sorry I don't read through all the comments. Hugs!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Whab: Sorry to hear about Jim's father too. :( He had a long life, that is a blessing.

Sacbarb: Glad to hear that things are going along well. :) You are such a good MOM!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Sorry girls I don't get what all the fuss is about with George Clooney. I just don't think he is good looking or a very good actor.

    ***ducking***

OK I'll pack my little owl backpack and move to a different tree.

The ad was kind of cute though :0)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Shirley, what do you think about Johnny Depp? I would agree with you on Georgey Porgy.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Also, I think that Nicolas Cage is awesome too.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Joey (((((HUGS))))) for you.

  51. Had another doctor appointment today. Bought some iron pills and got more pills to try and stop this period from hell as it continues into it's 8th week. This sucker is costing me a fortune! I don't think the makers of Stayfree Maxi pads will go out of business any time soon. They should all be able to retire on what I have paid out in the last 8 weeks!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Shirley, I buy the time release iron pills because i get real bad periods too. The least expensive place I could find to buy them was Sam's Club. I don't know if they have that there. But, I agree, they are expensive. I can't even imagine the maxi pads you've gone through too..wowser!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Sorry Bebbi I don't think either one is cute. Haven't seen a lot of Johnny movies except the pirate ones.

Nicolas Cage is a pretty good actor but I don't think he is cute.

I always thought Robert Redford was good looking but he is getting kind of old now.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Shirley, not an issue whatsoever! Who do you think is "hot" (as my daughter would say..lol).

    ReplyDelete
  55. Bebbi the iron pills were only $4.99 for 100. The pads are $4.29 plus tax (.13%) and I have bought 9 packages and have 2 left.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I knew you were going to ask me that and I have been thinking but I can't come up with anyone. If I saw picture I could say who I like. I'm not great with names.

Oh wait, the guy who played Wolferine. isn't bad.

    ReplyDelete
  57. There is a country singer with the first name Dean that I think is cute and Denzel Washington ain't bad to look at either!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Shirley: I always buy "Always"..and they are too expensive. Sounds like you have better prices there than I do here! I will have to get you to send me some pads...lol, and some iron tablets. They are like $10 for 100 here (time release)..even saw some for $12.99 too. I got 300 for $10 at Sam's though.

    ReplyDelete
  59. And, I think you are right Denzel Washington is hot. You know who else I think is hot, Jamie Foxx! I love him in that new video..Blame it on the Alcohol. Love that song too. Blame it on the A A A A A Alcohol....reminds me of Mr. Bebbi..LOLOLOLOL..sorry inside joke there.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Dean Brody? I just looked it up.

    ReplyDelete
  61. You know me too well, I don't come around and then I chat like heck..haha. I hope you don't mind. :)

    ReplyDelete
  62. No I don't mind I just had to make my 124556 trip to the bathroom today, that why I didn't respond.

Dean Brody? I don't think, but I will google and BRB.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Bebbi the country singer's name is Billy Dean.

At least I had Dean as one of his names!

Nice chatting with ya Bebbi but I have to go to bed now. Talk with you again soon whenever I'm allowed back in. LOL!

    Goodnight everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  64. ohhhh...sorry I got off in facebook land and missed the 100~! Did you find the name of that hot country singer?

    ReplyDelete
  65. ohh..goodnight Shirley cakes! Sweet dreams and may the red river dry up soon.

    ReplyDelete
  66. i'm at the Apple store.....and I'm using the MacBook Air.....omg...i've never seen anything so cool.......and this damn iPhone! There is so much on it! I love this~

What I don't love it Shirley! How dare you! George is FANTASTIC! HOT! With a capital HOT!!! :)~ I'll send you pictures so you can start appreciating him....you'll see! You'll love him by the time I'm done with you~ Either that, or you'll hate me! :D xoxoxo t~

    Hi Bebbi~

    ReplyDelete
  67. TINA: You would be hanging out downstairs with MrD right now with his new MAC and IPhone. You two would be in 7th heaven. Oh and btw, I don't "make the bucks" as I guess you forgot that I don't have a job and haven't had one for over two years!! I'd have to go out on the corner with my sign!

SHIRLEY: I'm sorry you are having so much girl trouble. I have a daughter that is miserable because she hasn't had FLo visit for four months..just bloated and feels like crap (no baby though).

MARY: Dand it...didn't mean to put you on a rant! :)

Quiet night as it always seems to be when I stop and get on the computer. If so many of you are watching TV, I would like to know what you are watching.

    ReplyDelete
  68. oh thank God...wondered what Dand meant~ :)~

    ReplyDelete
  72. What do you guys think is the proper time to start mowing in the morning?

    ReplyDelete
  73. DIANNE: A peal? I bet that one has a nice ring to it... ;)

ITEACH: In AZ you can start at 6am..and many do cuz it gets hot early here..

    ReplyDelete
  74. Where are my manners..Good Morning ITEACH! :)
