  5. Morning Glories!

    Congrats on first Tina.

I am moving slow this morning. Many margaritas yesterday and it has taken a toll.

Will be back after I drink a pot of coffee!

  6. Good morning!

ongrats once again Tina! Glad Tucker had a nice b-day!

    Hi MEK and Lynn!

We had a really nice day yesterday. We took Nancy with us and she was the hit of the party.

Someone ese had brought their dog, and Nancy went after him a few times. We can't believe how aggressive and fearless she is.

The dog was a "rat terrier" and not really big, but Nancy is tiny and had him running.

There were lots of fireworks (sounded like gunfire and bombs) going off last night, poor Poe is so frightened by it all.

My motivation for today's song comes from my looking for tickets for the Moody Blues concert on July 24th. The tickets are pretty expensive, so I am not sure we will be going.

It is at amphitheater at a winery out in the sticks. Oh well.

Hope everyone has a nice day!

  10. I hope you all had a great July 4th. I enjoyed watching the fireworks on T.V. Americans really do fireworks well.

  11. Good Morning Mek - I hope your 'baby' is okay today. My big Golden Retriever Chelsea used to get so scared of fireworks she would hide in the bathtub. They have no effect on Tango and Tia as long as I am close by.

  12. Good Morning Lynn and East Bay J. I hope Poe has recovered.

  13. I have lots of family here this morning so I must run. I will be back later. I think a lot of owls are very busy or tired this morning.

  14. East Bay J - I forgot to say I loved the video. Beautiful images.

  15. Tina Congrats on first! You would have thought Eunice would at least wash her face before going to work with you.

    Tinka Congrats on 25.

EBJ Thank you for the music vid today. I like the Moody Blues, too. I hope you decide to go to the concert. It would be a lovely evening and you can consider it a "once in a lifetime" thing. All the band members may not be around much longer. You just never know.

  18. Hi Hooters!! Hope to swoop by the nest more often now that the hotter 'dog-days' (i.e. my lazy season)of Summer have begun....if you'll still have me, that is. Enjoying your holiday weekend wind-down?

Sunny mid-70's perfection here today after a gawd-awful 95* Fourth. UGH!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Ah it was Bon'O who stepped on me. Hi Bonnie. How are you doing?

    ReplyDelete
  31. VIG - You will always be 40 to me. You don't look older than 30.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hi Zona-My-Baby - Yes I have had a good day. I think I will rest a while before dinner. Call me tomorrow if you have time.

    ReplyDelete
  33. A quiet night in the nest tonight. I think I will get into bed and watch a movie. Night All!

  36. Hi...we are home but I haven't unpacked yet..you know that always takes me a few days too.

Looks like everyone had a nice three day weekend and maybe would like a few more days.

It's nice to see all of you and it's nice to see Bono back in the nest. This is much cooler than that 90 degree outside.

Well, I don't have much to say and just wanted to do a fly by to say hello and goodnight to everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  37. It is 1:30 in the a.m. and just a little too scared to go to bed.

An idiot on my street was beating the crap out of his girlfriend at midnight.

I called 911, because her screaming made me cry.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Thank you for doing that, iteach! There are evil people out there.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Iteach - I just woke up and can't get back to sleep. Good for you for calling the police. Too many people don't want to get involved and turn a 'blind eye' to things like that. I think we should look after our neighbours.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Back to bed for me. Hope everyone is safely asleep tonight.
