The Funniest Staff Meeting Ever!

by Maureen

I received this via e-mail, so I just had to share!

The boss of a Madison Avenue advertising agency called a
spontaneous staff meeting in the middle of a particularly stressful week. (This is one pretty sharp boss!) When everyone gathered, the boss, who understood the benefits of having fun, told the burnt out staff the purpose of the meeting was to have a quick contest. The theme: Viagra advertising slogans. The only rule was they had to use past ad slogans, originally written for other products that captured the essence of Viagra. Slight variations were acceptable. About 7 minutes later, they turned in their suggestions and created a Top 10 List. With all the laughter and camaraderie, the rest of the week went very well for everyone!

The top 10 were:

10. Viagra, Whaazzzz up!

9.. Viagra, The quicker pecker picker upper.

8. Viagra, like a rock !

7. Viagra, When it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight.

6. Viagra , Be all that you can be.

5. Viagra , Reach out and touch someone.

4. Viagra, Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman.

3. Viagra, Home of the whopper!

2. Viagra, We bring good things to Life!

And the unanimous number one slogan:

1. This is your peepee. This is your peepee on drugs.

  20. Hello Everyone!!

Boy am I behind in blogs I will try to caught up today.

Mo that was good, I needed that laugh. :)

I feel very overwhelmed right now with school. It is amazing all the new technology that we get each year. So now we take attendance and do the lunch count all with our computer.

My routine this year in my classroom has changed about one hundred perecent. All good change, but for someone who is like me a creature of habit, it is a bit overwhelming. lol

  21. Carol, I just read your homeless blog.

You are absolutely right people are becoming numb to crazy people, homeless, and other unusual events. I think society has seen so much of it that nothing shocks them anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  22. MO - Very funny!!! Just what I needed. On day 6 of 8 in a row, but looking forward to having 4 days off next week!!!

I apologize for not being here more, but this work schedule is getting the best of me.

I also would like to give you an update on my Dad. He had an appt yesterday with his dr. He has gained 2 1/2 lbs (up to 103), and his oxygen was up to 82 percent (up from 74 a week and a half ago). His blood pressure was a tad low (80something/40). The prednisone that his doc prescribed 2 weeks ago has really helped. He is going to continue with the prednisone, gradually lowering the dosage to a safer level. We have an appt next Wednesday with a pulmonary doc. It will be interesting to hear what his assessment will be. He is having more good days than bad. Last Sunday he actually ventured out to the casino, and last Tuesday he did his grocery shopping, mowed his lawn, and went out for dinner with my brother and his family!!!

I really want to thank all my friends here for all the (((hugs))), prayers, and good wishes for my Dad. You all are the best....and it means more than you know. :O)

  24. Hi hooters!

Jodi I'm so glad to read about your dad's improvement! Yipee!

    DeeDee congrats on 1st today!

MO thank you for the laugh today, very funny!

Bear from area 51, that is AMAZING about Mary! Yes I remember her, and Black Louise.

SacBarb, I live closer to Antioch than Seaside Lady. I am in the next town over. I used to live in Antioch til we bought this house. MEK went to Antioch with me when we went over to my rental house.

Jaycee was held hostage in an unincorporated area of town. If you Google Walnut Ave. in Antioch, CA 94509 you will see that it is on the outskirts of town, an older area where people are allowed to have chickens, and the streets are not paved.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!

  36. hi everyone....

I had an attack of vertigo earlier that laid me out....I need to lower my sodium to 1 mg a day and cut the caffeine....along with the diuretic I already take twice a day....but I don't want too......

I am feeling better so I think I will get gussied up and go out to the mall. Yall know that pretzel place I was talking about....they have a sign hanging from the ceiling right on the mall practically that says "PICK UP"....sometimes on Saturday night I like to purty up and go stand under it to see if I can get any action.
If not I can always drive over to the bus station and see what comes in on the 11pm Greyhound from Houston and points south...thats usually a sure thing because I take my men like my coffee....black.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Maureen - Thanks for the laugh. That is a great story.

Tinka, I have been taking Vicodin due to a medical procedure yesterday, so I think I'll blame the counting problem on that!
