~ Getting Ready for Wednesday ~

by Tina~in_ut

Since some of us are beginning to get lost on Wednesday's, I thought it would help if we did a little prep work beforehand. I'm not here to stress anyone out. It's not a requirement. It's just a little somethin' to get us ready~

  1. Hooray for Tina she is #1...again!!

Oh...I love to start my day with a little of George Cooney.

Goodmorning everyone...It's the first day of Autumn and also my oldest grandson's birthday. Shawn is 20 today. I really feel old now. Next year, I will have a grandson of age to drink legally...
Wow...that is a hard one to take!!!

I was hoping for a sunny day and watching the leaves fall from my trees, well it is a rainy day but I can still watch the leaves falling onto my neighbors lawn. The birch tree leaves are starting to come down and my neighbors gets most of the leaves on his lawn. He is a good person, he blows them back into my lawn. No..only kidding. Tony even cleans my gutters out on my house each year.

    Have a good one everyone~~

  8. Carol- Chicago?? And by the 1st weekend in May do you mean as in Friday the 30th of April and Saturday the 1st of May- or May 7,8,9 ????? That is the weekend I vote for if we do May!!

Is it time to go home yet???

    ReplyDelete
  9. Lynn D...
Well, your belly button better be a innie for if it was a outie, it would drip into other areas...and those areas might be most inviting for a slurp or two.

It all started with Wit, went to Twit and ended at Twat. Now it is Innie and Outie and Slurp or two.

And tomorrow Whabbear brings out the brains. I just love this place!!

Ok...now I have to be creative and accomplish something this AM...

  10. Goldie...
A thought just came to me about your selection of May 7,8,9.
    I think Mother's Day is May 9th.

  11. April 30th sounds good to me...it's probably the lastest I can go anyway....too far into May and I can't go at all....the oldest brat is graduating...and I'll have a houseful~

Gloria~ My hubby slapped me when I used the word twat last night! But he wouldn't tell me why~

Good Morning Zona, Carol, Goldie(brat!), and LynnD~

  14. I am off to the cemetery to put flowers on mom's grave. I can't believe it's a year already. She died one year ago this morning. I know she is looking down and watching over me.

  15. Wishing everyone who is in the nest or who hasn't landed yet a safe and happy day.

  16. Tinkatia...
    My thoughts are with you...
Yes she is and she is with you always...

    ReplyDelete
  17. Tinkatia: Hugs to you today! And please spare a thought for what's happened over the past year, partly as a result of your mother's death. I'll bet she's lovin' it!

LOL at all the jockying around the date of the midwest get together! One thing's for sure... no date is going to satisfy everybody. My personal vote would be for the May 7-9th weekend, just to up the chances a bit that the weather will be warm. However, I'm flexible...

J/L, yep, I probably would fly out of SF!

  18. Tina Congrats on 1. Cute commercial with sexy George. For a minute there, I thought you were going to require us to learn French today.

Gloria LOL @ your neighbor blowing the leaves back to your yard.

Zona I hope you're feeling better today.

Goldie Parts of the Bay Area are supposed to get up to triple digits today. No rain here!

Carol I think we're starting to need more than a #2 pencil.

LynnD Ooooh, what a nice fantasy. :)

Tinka Gentle (((HUGS))) to you and congrats on 25.

Bear Maybe we could travel together. It would make me feel better. :)

  19. Hi everyone! I was going crazy not posting! My wireless card is soo close to my limit!I had to stay off my 'puter or pay for the extra usage.I thought the new cycle started yesterday, I was wrong. It cycles at 6pm tonight! I have never used even half of my gigsbefore!
I did buy a new mini laptop and down loaded a few things, but I can't believe that did it. Anyway I had to comment on the"MWMAG"!! I will meet & greet anywhere any time! I do think May should be our target month. I am so excited about meeting more of you!!
3 more hrs and I am back with all my 5 gigabytes!!

  20. Hey Whab~ I will be in SF in early March, any chance of meeting up?? And NOT at the Lonestar!! I don't think Mr. Goldie would be entertained......

Gloria- you are right about Mothers Day the 9th- well then I say we shoot for the following weekend. Any earlier and it will be too cold yet in Chicago (or anywhere in the midwest!)

tina~ why would you say such a thing?? tee hee hee..

  22. Ladies & Gents~~~
Make sure you all stop over at Rosie's blog. Wow, she wrote about her mother. Very powerful in Rosie's mind of what she remembers at such a young age. Yet very endearing concerning her mom.

    I love Rosie~~

Will you be able to come to the MWMAG if it is the last weekend in April?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Tina...forget to thank you! You're hit of George has set us perfectly for tomorrow. As I say in the blog, by popular demand, George isn't just naked. He's lying on Shirley's floor naked and erect.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Holy cow! I heard naked and erect and came running!

Toddling off to bed with that wonderful image. Sweet Dreams to me! Thanks Whabby!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Goldie: Of course! I assume the two of you are going to be visiting your son, too? It might be fun to all go to dinner!

Only possible complication: We're in Palm Springs over the middle two March weekends. How early is early?

J/L: Yes, we should travel together; everybody from the Bay Area who might go should be on the same plane.

Still, I'm not committing to go quite yet. I have to ease Huz into the idea slowly.... :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. yay!!!! Mo learned how to spell!!! And yes....the 1st and 2nd of May will work...but anything later and I'm stuck at home~

    Bear~ yay! I'm glad I could help you out!~

    LynnD~ I heard naked and erect and I came too~ :D

  33. I would think the weather will be about the same on the first weekend as the second weekend!

We have feathers, we'll be warm!

    ReplyDelete
  34. the first and second of may...not the first and second weekend...the second weekend is mother's day~

    ReplyDelete

  38. It won't be snowing at the beginning of May will it? I don't do snow.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Bear It's only for a weekend. Huz shouldn't mind that much.

    ReplyDelete
  40. JUST LIN...usually not. But I make no promises!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think if it does snow, It would def not be blizzard conditions, maybe a lite dusting.. I don't ever remember snow storms in May in ORD (Chicago)

    Mo.. you have e-mail..

    ReplyDelete
  42. Huffing and puffing,,,,,Did some one say George and erect??

  44. Carol~area 51.. I loved the vid! I will have to invest in a flip so I can show you my town,, it would last about 10 seconds lol! One stop light, a bar, a dollar store, library, tiny P.O., tiny bank
and a tiny party store. Oh yes our VFW!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Good night Carol. I am heading that way too. I have a meeting in down town Lansing tomorrow. It is a stone's throw from our capital.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Mary...why are you throwing a stone at the capital?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Tina Congrats! Was George involved?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Tina, I didn't even notice we were close to 69 or I would have given you a run for your money!! I wonder if George will try a 69er with Shirley tomorrow??? Now that would make the equation tricky!!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Tina, you are a nut, no stone throwing involved!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I am off to bed. Thanks for the kind words today. Good night.
    Love, Tinka

    ReplyDelete
  51. Tina Btw, that would be capitol, not capital.
