~ Grad Night ~

by Tina~in_ut

Grad Night was held at a local gym. Not only were there the different sports available for the seniors to play, there was a movie theater set up, poker tables, hair and nails, and henna tattoos, just to name a few.

My lovely son came home with a "tattoo" on his toe! WTC!!!! I thought it was kind of girly, but didn't say anything. It looked wierd. I didn't know at first that I was supposed to look at it sideways.

A week went by. His grandparents saw the "tattoo." So did his aunt. I was looking at it Friday night with both my son's. I shook my head and finally told them that I thought it was girly looking. My younger boy told me it was a camel. I gave him that "duh" look! I knew that! The boys looked at each other with a smirk! THAT'S when I finally got it! My older boy, after I was done hitting him, laughed and told me that the lady who put it on him didn't get it either until she was done!

Tina, I knowwww, you just can't help yourself. That boy of your's is sure clever. Years from now he will get a big laugh at this pic in a scrapbook.

  6. Tina! Your sweet little babies are sporting camel toes? What's the world coming to!

I didn't recognize your son... I thought it was Carol without polish.

Good morning to Shirley & DeeDee and everyone coming later!

  8. Dianne, re your comment in A51: The very thought of my son carrying a Bronco bag had me ROTFLMAO. This is the kid that has a shrine to the Raiders in his house. He is a true die hard fan. But thanks for the thought.

  11. Good morning beautiful one!

Waving my wing at you all!!!

tina~ For whatever reason, I got it right away and laughed my ass off! Good for him...

My son (#2) has REAL tatoos on his feet. A Gecko and a sun thingy. When I had a fit (he was 18) he said at least he could hide them with socks and shoes for interviews and work. LOL

  12. That is sooo funny! At first I thought it was an armadillo (??) then decided it's legs were too long.

    Love it!

Shirley, have a nice day with your mum! Glad to hear she is doing well.

SacBarb, I seem to remember you having a Raiders shrine in your house too :)

Goldie your son is smart! It's when they get the tats on their faces, necks, hands, etc. that you worry about the job interview!

Shout out to Bona, Dee Dee and Tina, hope everyone has a nice Weds! :)

  13. EBJ- the piercings where in the face. Eyebrow, tongue, multiple ear (top to lobe). He outgrew that too when it was time to get out in the real world after college!

  14. Hello, HOoters.

Tina Congrats on first on your own blog (rolls eyes). You must be slipping. I got it right away. You were probably hoping that your son didn't notice such things. I saw a very skinny girl the other day who was wearing very skinny, tight jeans. I swear to God, I don't know where the hell her inseam went but it was going way up in there somewhere. Maybe her gynocologist will find it.

Shirley Have a nice visit with your mum. I love egg sandwiches. When you get back, would you make me one?

DeeDee You probably invented the term "camel toe".

SacBarb Good morning to you. At least here, on the west coast, it is still morning.

Bonach LOL @ Carold without polish. Sorry I was MIA yesterday. I guess there was no point in me showing up. ;)

Goldlie It is kind of distressing when you give birth to a beautiful little baby and they later mark themselves up with piercings and tattoos. With my son, it's tattoos. He did pierce his ear once many years ago but lost interest in it.

EBJ Everything here is wet from the fog. How is it over there?

  15. Tina, Camel toe? My mind went right to the gutter "Hump" lol!

I got a good dose of "Catholic" today Tina. I almost fell asleep. I was at a funeral. One of my sister's patients passed away. He was a sweetheart. He had muscular Dystroaphy.
No offense, but when I go I hope they just yell "Hallelujah, she was a good old gal" and go right to the meal!

    Waving at Shirley,DeeDee, SacBarb,Bonachi,Goldie,& EBJ~~~

  16. JL, very strange weather today. It is kind of hot, windy, and overcast. Looks like it is gonna rain!

    Pool is not warm :(

Goldie, aren't you glad your son got rid of all the piercings? At least those aren't permanent, like the tats.

One time years ago (I was at work), I was going to a baby delivery and saw the mom had piercings all over her labia. I couldn't believe it.

She hadn't wanted to remove them but finally did, as she was told the baby could be scratched when it came out.

Mary I agree with you about "the end".

  18. Hell to the NO Jodi!
Years ago Mr. Goldie and I and the boys were at dinner (it was summer)at a little place in MI.

A women at the next table was tatted up and down and she wa probably in her late 60's or so. NOT ATTRACTIVE! I proclaimed to my family "that is why women should not have tats in places that can be seen!"

The women overheard me and said "you are right dear, nothing looks good saggy"- LOL

  23. Hooray for tats... NOT! I was working on some equipment today... without my wedding ring. I didn't think anything of it. Then a man said something to me. "What?" "Tattoo", he said; then he put his finger on the tattoo on my finger. I was embarrassed. Tell the kiddies, no tats!
