  3. Oh, there's Tina, #1 of course! Shirley, that vid is not just funny, it's a time capsule. Loved it!

Jennifer/iteach; apparently I missed the fireworks regarding you and the Mr., so I don't know that I offer relevant advice. I would just warn you of the "honeymoon" phase that follows a serious argument or violent episode. Keep your head on, girl.

Ernie has been having atomic farts since last night. I might die.

  4. Morning Glories!

    Tina, pretty.

Shirley I didn't know whether to laugh or cringe at some of those.

If I were that teenage girl I would have pushed Mama from the train....er I mean my lap. Really, Really??? The boy in that clip his hair made me laugh out loud!

Jennifer I saw your post in Area 51 and I agree with everyone else. Counseling is the only way to go. You have to do what is best for you and your family, but a guided look at the situation with an impartial observer might give you the answers you need.

    Waving at Janice and Bon.

  5. Good morning!

Loved the video Shirley! I still love Paul Lynde. Thanx for the laugh this morning! :)

Mo, glad to read that Joanne is improving. I think it's great she now wants to fight!

Jennifer, I agree with what everyone else has said. My first husband begged to come back too.

He had rented an apartment and pretty quickly decided he missed having dinners made, clothes washed, etc.

I'm so glad I didn't give in, it was hard but I didn't do it.

Please don't make any quick decisions!

Be back later. Hi to Tina, Janice, Bona and Lynn!

  6. Jennifer~ I'm so torn~ I think about the kids, first and foremost....but then again....he didn't! And I know you tried counseling before.....man.....he'd go thru hell if I were you before he even stepped back thru the door! I'd make sure~ I gotta shuddup!~

    Hi Lynndie, Bonachichi, and EBJ~

  7. I so so agree about the counseling and he does too. I really don't know what will happen- either we will grow stronger from this or figure out in couseling that we really are not meant to be together.

He also started counseling two weeks ago for himself, so we will just wait and see.

The kids don't know anything or anyone else. It is a complete emotional roller coaster ride. I was so excited when he said he wanted to come back, because I miss him so much. However, after a few hours I remembered all the mean things he said last month and it made me totally anxious. So that I suppose is where the counselor will come in and help me sort everything out.

  8. Oh, and he is not moving back in unless it feels right. It doesn't feel right at this moment. Maybe in a few weeks it will or maybe not at all. It is so confusing..

  9. Morning Ladies...and of course Jantina!!

    Paul Lynde is sooo funny!!

Quick story....I got to meet him in Dallas in the 70's....I was so excited....he was a friend of a friend and was working at a dinner playhouse in Big D.....we met him at a club after his show.

I was astonished.....he was so drunk and so hateful and rude....I mean slobbering drunk.....I was sooo disappointed.....I really never gave him a second thought after that night...but always loved to watch him work.....

  10. Happy Tuesday everyone!

    Tina,pretty x 3= "yawn"

I see I need to jump back to area 51 to see what is up with our Jennifer.
Sounds like the Mr is having "I'm tired of being at Ma's, and I just realized I have to pay child support" issues. Sorry if I sound caddy, but I have been there. I took mt x back 3 times each time he said he would try harder. He bought me something new everytime, but he remained the same old jerk. I should have held out for a new car lol! Seriously, you have to do what your "mind" tells you to do.Noticed I didn't say "heart!"
Good luck whatever you do, but the secret is...don't rush!

  11. Dee Dee, I am crushed hearing how horrid Paul Lynde behaved!

I still think he is one of the funniest people ever.

It's like the awful tapes of Mel Gibson that have just surfaced. Who would have thought he could be so vile?

Mary, my ex tried the car thing, he dangled it like a carrot. I surprised myself at how strong I was, and my ability to not go backwards.

I had no kids that factored into my situation, that would be much more difficult.

Jennifer I know you will do what you feel is right for you and your kids. You are strong and can handle this, no matter what.

    Big hugs to you!

  12. Who among us has not taken a wayward lover back? Nobody, I think. Everyone tells us to leave emotion at the door, yet we don't listen. It's easy to stand in a clearing and see the forest. When you are part of the forest, all you see is the tree next to you. You lose all perspective.

Jennifer, I don't know what your marital troubles are, or whether you want them aired on a blog. What I can tell you is that, despite the general consensus that Mr. Jennifer is an arsebite, I'm pretty certain that we will all support whatever decision you make. No shame here, either way.

  13. the ONLY shame I know of is when you fall in the terlit~ :(

  14. Good Morning!

SHIRLEY: Funny stuff! I've never been one to watch a lot of game shows because those really awkward moments just make me feel uncomfortable for the contestants. I do love when the celebrities are involved though. Thanks for the laughs this morning.

    TINA: Hello Gorgeous!

DEEDEE: I have always loved Paul Lynde..I've read a lot about him and for some reason..unlike with Tom Cruise..I'm able to separate the performer from how he acted in real life. I don't think I could do that if I had met him though.

JENNIFER: I know what a tough decision this is for you..but you will know what is right for you and your kids. Go with your gut kiddo..the answer is there.

Waving Hi to LYNND, MARY, EBJ and BONACHI!

  15. Updated weather report is as follows...113 today..115 tomorrow and 117 on Thursday. The pool is so warm that if I threw some Mr Bubble in there and kicked my feet I could take a bath.

If you don't hear from me on Thursday..just assume I've melted..lol..

  16. Tina, I would say you are the resident tirlet expert. Clearly, you don't look before you sit. How did you like that moment of enlightenment when you realized what was happening, but could do nothing to stop it?

  17. Tina What a beauty but I think your ass is wet. Hey, the only shame in falling in the terlit is if you did it on purpose.

Shirley Thanks for the smiles today. The clothes, hairstyles, and eyeglasses were as funny as the answers.

Jennifer I'm glad he is getting counseling for himself. He needs to figure out what's going on with him before he drags you and the kids through another emotional tsunami. Be strong. The answers will come. Don't rush it.

Waving at Bonach, LynnD, EBJ, Zona, Mary and DeeDee.

  18. Shirley, I forgot to comment on your vid.. It was hilarious! I think we would be surprised at how many "stars" are not as sweet as we think lol!
I remember going to the mall in Vegs many many years ago and seeing Redd Fox getting new eye glasses. He looked ornery to me. Someone next to me said that they had encountered him at a gas station and he had been very rude.

  19. EBJ.....I too was crushed....and afraid....he humiliated so many people who were very kind that said hello to him or did the usual OMG UR PAUL LYNDE!! I got away from him quickly.....

for some reason I have been around many celebrities.....I think its from traveling so much....because it was usually on a plane or in an airport....

Usually they have been very nice...I think the nicest ever was Mohammed Ali....this was right before the George Foreman fight in the Republic of Zaire.....

and speaking of that fight...OMG...JAMES BROWN!!! James came into DFW on a Boeing 707 that he had chartered to take friends to Africa for the fight....
A friend and I had been told which gate they were at and decided to check it out....Well there was James Brown out on the concourse being James Brown...signing autographs...etc......and my friend wanted to take his picture but was afraid to ask him...

So I took the camera and walked up to him and said...."Mr. Brown? Would you mind if I take your photo?"

He stepped back...looked me up and down...smiled and said..."Baby....you can take anything you want..."

  20. SHIRLEY - Thanks for sharing!! I think I would've died if my Mom told the whole world I liked to park!! Although I think my fav was the remark about the Osmonds ;)

TINA - Pretty is as pretty does ♥

JENNIFER - Counseling is a good thing, but I keep thinking about all the awful things he said to you. I think he's finding that it's not so great at his parents. Or anywhere else. HE made this choice....maybe he should just live with it for awhile. You on the other hand have amazed he with the strength that you have found. Hang in there and do what you feel is right for YOU AND YOUR KIDS!!!

Waving a wing at BONACHICHI, LYNN, EBJ, DEE DEE, MARY, ZONA & SLIN!!

Gotta go make supper. Grilled pork steaks and corn on the cob!!

  25. I see Tina has made her way back into the #1 position again.

I forgot I had sent you this video Tina, thanks for posting it.

Thanks everyone for your comments, and I'm glad I could make you smile and chuckle a little.

Jennifer there isn't anything I can say that hasn't already been said to you so I will just offer you some ((HUGS)).

    Good night Owls.

  26. Hi...or I guess Good morning. I went to be at 11 and slept until 2am with some help of drugs and then here I am....can't go back to sleep. I have read and played Family Feud and am not tired. I thought I would be as yesterday was my first day of PT and that is never fun.

Just wanted to say hello to all of youi and wish you a happy Wednesday.

JODI, did you get a new car? Yea for those winter months ahead.

Cute blog Shirley....I think those shows used to be so funny. Wish some were still on while I watch tv day in and day out...you know...something mindless to watch.
