me: This is my favorite song from this cd! (playing To Sir With Love)
Janice: This sounds good.....similar to the original singer.
me: Who sang it? (while googling)
Janice: I don't remember.
me: Oh! Guess what? It was a movie, too!
Janice: Ya think?!
me: Oh! I had no idea!
Janice: Duh! (rolls eyes!)
Janice and I get along so well!!! Enjoy my favorite TV kids~
pretty sexy~
ReplyDeletethat Janice~ such a card~ (rolls eyes)
ReplyDeletei LOVE this song!!!~ :D
ReplyDeleteMorning Glories!
ReplyDeleteTina your to sexy for your habit. Janice is a saint!!!!
I loved this song on glee. Loved the movie To Sir with Love. The story line on this episode, when they sang it for Will made me teary eyed.
The family reunion went pretty well! I only had my cousin D try to get me going, but I knew he was just arguing for arguing sake, not because he believed any of the crap he was throwing at me.
It did strike me how much my aunts and uncles have aged this time. They are getting older. The only thing that was some what ominous, two of the Aunts that organize the family reunion every year, were trying their best to convince me that I should take over the organizing. Noooooooooooooooo, not right now, maybe in a few years.
I am going back to my farms as I have neglected them lately. Then I have to get dressed and pick up my daughter, the one who lives close, and we are going to a movie today.
Waving at everyone!!!!
Tina! Wow, so pretty and I grabbed that song and shared on FB..wow, love it. :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning LYnnD...sorry you had a PRICKly cousin...uggh..I hate when people try and start stuff. Oh, have fun at the movies with your daughter..lucky! :) What are you going to see??

ReplyDeleteThis girl and the rest did a splendid job with this 1967 #1 hit by Lulu for the movie by the same name with Sidney Poitier...omg....43 years ago...
That perspective always just hoo-doo's me....43 years ago...SHIT!

Lynndie~ wasn't that the bestest episode? :D
ReplyDeleteBebbi~ glad you liked enuf to share~
Speaking of "must see" films....
ReplyDelete"A Patch Of Blue" with Sidney Poitier and Shelley Winters from 1965 is fantastic....
Shelley won the Oscar for her performance....it also had 4 other wins & 14 nominations...
Tina ur middle name is temptation....and not even St. Mercury of a Thermometer can deliver u from it!!
ReplyDeletehello sexy~
ReplyDeleteI cried when they sang this on the show! Love it!!
Carol- oh, I am excited for you and the shower and wedding!
Lynn, glad I didn't have to send the Credit Card info for bail....
Last day here. Tomorrow we hit the road, then spend the night at the casino (Imagine that) on the way home. Pick up Pepper on tuesday and then spend Wed. doing all the resting I need to go back to work on thurs! Ugg......
Bebbi I think we are going to go see Grownup's. She has seen everything else. lol
ReplyDeleteCarol, I don't know why but it really struck me this year how much they have aged. My one Aunt just looked so frail to me. Have fun at the shower!!!
Tina that was a really good episode. You need to rent To Sir With Love. Classic.
I never did get around to watching Glee. I have to make a note to do that. Maybe the shock collar when it's due on.
ReplyDeleteLynnD, so sorry to hear of your troubles with your cuz. In my mind, it takes two idiots to argue. Not that I'm calling you an idiot, you don't know the secret yet. You can't argue with someone who's not there. Walk away. So what if you don't make your point. Do you really care?
Was there a pinata at this get-together?
TINA: Great song from a great movie! I think the movie came out when you were just a baby..so I can see how you might have missed the premiere. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have got to catch up on 'Glee' I don't like the implications of them singing this song to Will..
LYNN: Glad to hear the reunion went well. It seems like when I go to family events, I'm the one that has changed the most..lol..I think.. ;)
DEEDEE: ..I was 8..yikes..time is just flying by!
CAROL: Have a wonderful time at the shower..eat, drink and be merry..you so deserve the break.. :)
GOLDIE: Have a safe trip home..and loads of good luck at the casino! :D
JODI: Catch any balls yet? ;)
Hi BEBBI and BONACHI!
MR Z just informed me it's hot and humid outside..really? :D
TINA: you keep forgetting humble and hot.. :D
ReplyDeleteokay....nastier than nasty! And I don't mean DeeDee!!!! I got home and I had to go to the bathroom...nothing unusual~ I was tired and my hair was in my face and bugging me, which is prolly why I didn't notice until I SAT DOWN...ALL THE WAY DOWN!!!!! Never IN MY LIFE have I sat down on ANYTHING other than the seat!!!!! ewwwwww! I need a chower!!!~
ReplyDeleteTINA: and now you can add 'wet' to pretty, sexy, humble and hot.. :D
ReplyDeleteMr Z came in while I was working on my Cafe on FB and said "Smells good..what are you making?" so I started to name some of the dishes you can cook...he stopped me.."No..I mean real food.." Then it hit me..I was cooking a pork roast for pulled pork..omg...I completely forgot!! I just finished pulling it apart and adding the sauce..sheesh..am I a dork or what? lol..rhetorical question.. ;)
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTINA STUCK HER ASS IN THE TERLIT WATER!!!
God help the Tidy bowl man!! Tsunami! Tsunami!
Carol: Have fun at the shower..or I hope you did if you see this after.
ReplyDeleteBonachichi: I am the same way with Glee..I really want to watch it, just no time!
LOL DEEDEEeeee!
Tina: Ew..! I had that happen before..omg, it's a shocker!
Zona: LOL...you are too funny!
ReplyDeleteThat's got to be the funniest thing I've heard all week. Tina's arse fell in the crapper. Too bad it wasn't one of those dual-purpose drinking fountain ones. She could have gotten herself an enema.
ReplyDeleteLOL Bonachichi..! Good to see you here.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday Owls.
ReplyDeleteTina, You really should rent this movie. OK, it's old, but I think you'll like it. BTW, was it the new boy in the house that left the seat up?? He MUST be punished. Make him sit on the terlet with the seat up and see how he likes it! :)LOL
I just got home from ushering for "Spamalot." I always loved Monty Python and this did not disappoint. It's one of those that you have to see more than once because there is so much going on. Lucky for me, I get to do it again on Tuesday night.
ReplyDeleteLynn, Glad to see you didn't need to be bailed out.
ReplyDeleteZona, Hot in AZ? Really? I'll alert the media! Pulled pork, yummm. Does Mo know you shaved her butt? BTW, what time is dinner?
Carol, I hope you had fun at the shower. When is the wedding? It seems like it was just last week that he proposed.
Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteLOVED the movie! I haven't seen it in years.
Hope all had a great weekend, a quick fly=by for me!
shuddup bonachichi!!!~
ReplyDeleteSacky~ it wasn't the new boy......IT'S THE OLD BOY!!!!!! the 47 yr old!!!!!!!!!~
I think I must rent this movie~ :D
Tina..
ReplyDeleteWell then, if you enjoy the song, you must rent the movie... So then the song will be connected to the movie as it is for me..
:O)
Zona..
ReplyDeleteOh, what I would have given for a dip in a pool today.. NJ is freakin steamin!!!!
The shower was great.. we had so much fun.. All went really well.. She had a monetary shower. (which I never heard of). So most all brought envelopes.. Since my nephew owns a home and has everything that is needed, there was no need for her to ask for anything specific. They are saving to buy a bigger home in a different area, so the money will be put towards that. I will say it was different to be at a shower and not have to watch the bride open a million gifts.. I actually liked it much better..
ReplyDeleteThen I had to go to work.. urgg..
Clients are leaving for Aruba tomorrow and one of their passports expired.. and yes they did not check their passports until today.. even tho, on all the paper work I send them it states clearly for each passenger to check their passports... So the mom and daughter are leaving tomorrow and the dad is going to NYC tomorrow to hopefully get his passport renewed so he can leave on Tuesday...
and then.. I get call from another client that their flight was canceled for today, so they had to be resked for tomorrow.. we called the hotel, and the hotel pushed their vacation back a day with no problem..
and then.. I get a call from a client in Spain who is to be going onto Rome. It seems there is someone in Rome who knows her, and knows she is coming to Rome, but my client does not want to see this person.. I asked no questions, cause truly the whole thing sounded nuts.. so tomorrow I have to try and get her back from Madrid instead of Rome.. and cancel all her pre arranged tours in Rome and her hotel..
I have back to back clients coming in starting @ 4p.. so needless to say, Tomorrow is going to be a bitch and so am I..
Oh and then at 8:30 tonite a client calls me on my cell to discuss his shore excursions on his upcoming cruise... WHAT. can't we chat about it tomorrow.. but no he could not so we discussed..
Oy Vey!
anyone want to trade days??
oh wait that won't work, cause then I would have missed the shower.. :O)
pics on fb..
I did not proofread :( Tina let me know what I spelled wrong.. thanks in advance..
Tina..
ReplyDeleteLMAO.. dropping down low!!!!!!

ReplyDelete"TINA STUCK HER ASS IN THE TERLIT WATER!!!"
HA!
Priceless..
LOL
Oh, and I had the privilege of giving the toast, as they all agreed I was the loudest..
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I should take that as a compliment..
Sacbarb...The wedding is on 9/18.. and yes I agree, these last several months since the engagement when very quickly...
IT#1 ask me to do a reading at the church service, I thought that was sweet.. and I said yes of course, this also means I get to go to the rehearsal dinner.. YAY for me..
OK.. seems I have chatted my way into sleepiness.. so off to bed for me, so I can get ready for the work week..
ReplyDeleteMy fav girl @ the office is on vacation for tow weeks starting tom< I am going to miss her so, she is truly my right and left hand..
So yep.. I will prob be a beast!
I think I wanna stay away from myself..
Nite all..
ReplyDeleteHope all had a great day!
