This afternoon I'm getting a massage. Just want to get my left arm worked on/stretched. I don't have 100% range on motion since I broke my arm....almost, so I'm hoping my friend John can help!!

  15. HODI!! YOU are the prettiest of them all!!! :)

Good Morning Hooters, flapping a wing at you Bebbi and Shirley.

    Loved the outhouse. Perfect!

  16. Hello Hooters!

Whab, I did see your comment in A51. Thanks for that, and all the other comments.

I'm going to find that outhouse and lock the politician door from the outside. Then I'll drill a hole in the ceiling of the voter loo and fire a pea shooter through it continuously.

  17. Whabby: An excellent comment, I might add.

  18. I am going to have to go to a movie by myself.

Waving a wing at goldie, bonachichi and all who fly in today.

    ReplyDelete
  19. One thing, if I went to a movie by myself I wouldn't have to pay for someone else's ticket and food so it would only cost me half as much..lol.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Bebbi- I have always gone to movies by myself when I was single, married, and now the "d" word. I really do like it that way.

However, I must admit my girlfriend Stacey asked me to go see the new Julia Roberts flick with her and I did say yes. The last two days have been really emotionally draining in regards to my parents, so I'm looking forward to being with her.

  21. Oh, and Barb, I'm in love with your photo today.

  23. Funny I was contemplating going to go see eat pray love myself today also. It's that or wash the car.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Jennifer: Sorry to hear that you have had some "draining" days. I hope things get better.

Yes, I do believe that you women are encouraging me to go to a movie by myself. I think I might do that! I am putting it on the agenda.

  25. Jodi, you are a shinning beauty this Friday the 13th!!

Barb, that was cute! Oh so true!

Bebbi, I usually go to the movies alone. I usually do matinees for safety reasons. I have no problem going to stage productions alone either. I live in a "redneck" area and many would not want to see such shows. They are more in to "ahem" car racing.

    Waving @ Bebbi,Shirley,Goldie, Jennifer & LynnD~~~~~

    ReplyDelete
  26. Mary: LOL at the "ahem" car racing..wow, we live in the same area...haha.

    ReplyDelete
  27. hey!!!! nothing wrong with car racing!!! you can do BOTH!~ Always go to the movies by myself...I'm so much fun...and I get to see what I want, when I want~ AND....I buy myself popcorn...I'm a fun date~

    Barb~ LOVE the pic~ so true~

Jodi~ congrats on prettiest~ have fun at the movies~

    Bebbi~ HA!!!! :D

    I'm off to work~

  28. Gosh, so funny, I am such a late bloomer on this whole going to the movies by myself thing! lol

  29. Ha Ha! I knew I would get a reaction from Tina!
I do go to the movies with my SIL sometimes. She is a sweetheart, but loves to chat! I have enough trouble hearing some of the characters when they talk low or the music is drowning them out!
I have been busy getting ready for a wedding reception I have to DJ tomorrow. The bride keeps emailing me more songs she wants. Talk about red neck! She is young and sweet, buttttt. she wants "Yummy Yummy I Got Love In My Tummy" for the cake cutting and the reception is BYOB! It will be in a non air conditioned building in a state park! I just found this all out last week. August here in Mich has been hot and humid! Forecast for Sat. includes rain late. Hopefully the rain will hold off until the outdoor dripping in sweat wedding nuptials are over lol!

  30. That's it I declare that today is "Go by yourself to the Movie Day" . :)

I also love to shop by myself. It drives my sister and mom crazy. They like it when we all go together. So I suck it up a couple times a year and shop with them. It is my fault I get impatient. They stare at a blouse for like 200 minutes deciding if they should buy it and I knew 198 minutes if they were going to buy it or not.

  31. Congrats on first miss pretty Jodi. It is almost that time of year (2 weeks) when you will be needing to change that avatar back to your "car" one (get my drift?)

I like to go to the movies by myself or sometimes with a friend or my daughter. I really like not sharing popcorn. Try it Bebbi it will be fine.

Hi to everyone as I am off for some of my appointments today.....

    ReplyDelete
  32. Jennifer, I like to shop alone too if I am shopping for myself. I love shopping with my Nieces, but my knees give me troubl with the hard floors so I sit and watch as they tear through the stores!

    ReplyDelete
  33. That's it....you all HAVE to see Eat Pray Love....by YOURSELVES!!! Julia Roberts is fabulous and all the regional shots are gorgeous!! Cheers to you all....I had popcorn AND cookie dough bites. That would cover breakfast, lunch AND dinner!!

DIANNE - That or my cross your heart BRONCO BRA!! ;)

Waving a wing @ GOLDIE, BONACHICHI, JENNIFER, LYNN, TINA, & MARY!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Oh, and can I just say that Javier Bardem is totally yummy?!!?

  35. Hey hooters,

Jodi is 1st today! Woo hoo!

Barb, love the picture this morning! No comment necessary, pic says it all!

I've been to the movies alone, although not in a long time. Can't even remember the last movie I saw in a theater.

We used Netflix for a while so got caught up on movies.

Having a big party here tomorrow so lots to do. The weather has been on the cool side for August, only low to mid 80s the past week.

Have a good day and weekend!

  36. Just a quick limp-by to say hello! My computer is a total mess. Techs coming out next week to replace internal stuff..hard drive, memory and I think the motherboard. Yikes!! The dang thing has been tested, probed and prodded from afar..but no one can figure out just what's wrong with it. Already wiped the hard drive and that didn't help. It runs soooo slow and then just randomly decides to shut off..drives me nutty!!

    SACBARB: Love the picture..so true!

HODI-LAY-DE-HOOOO!! You're looking just gorgeous today!

BEBBI: I used to go to movies by myself all the time..haven't in a long time though..

Waving HI to GOLDIE, JENNIFER, MARY, BEAR, SHIRLEY, LYNN, TINA, DIANNE and EBJ!

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Crossing my fingers, legs and eyes that this posts...

  37. YAY!

I'm going to have to re-load the operating system next week..should I stick with XP or go to Windows 7? Any opinions would be appreciated! Thanks! :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. EBJ - Good luck with your party tomorrow. It's been humid as a mofo here. Suppose to break by Sunday!! And we're under a tornado watch til 9pm tonight. Never a dull moment in WESconsin ♥

ZONA - Your HODI-LAY-DE-HOOOO made me smile. Thank you!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Zona I think you should go with Window's 7. That way you can let me know how it preforms and if I should get it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Zona, I sent you my phone #. The rest of you, shaddup. She asked me a different question.

    ***Technical Crap Warning***

Windows XP is an excellent operating system. Windows 7 gives you additional multi-media capability, but there are still some bugs to be worked out. We geeks are just waiting for people to dump their XP systems so we can get hold of their XP CDs cuz WE LOVE THEM!

Zona, your problem sounds like hardware to me. Hang on to XP.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Sorry Zona... I forgot to add that you can restore your PC to "factory settings" yourself. For a Dell, you just hold down the Ctrl/F11 key whilst starting up. No CDs, no nothing. It will reset to the way it was when you first bought it.

  42. hello Everyone....

I'm in a bad mood....I'm just going to sit over her by the window and stare at something for awhile....(accidentally steps on Zonas foot while passing)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Just got home from seeing Eat, Pray, Love. Two thumbs up. It really did justice to the book and it also made me think about change in life.

Hodi Javier is my boyfriend keep your mitts off!

PS Bebbi I went by myself and it was divine. Had my own snacks and no one whispering to me. :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. LYNN - I saw him first today!! But I would consider sharing....but only with my spoonin' ho ♥ Glad you liked the movie. It made me think about A LOT today!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. DEE DEE - No wonder you're in a bad mood...you have SHREK ears!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Oh I guess I can share. I get the front and you get the back. :)

Jodi it made me think about so many things and it even had some light bulb moments.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I love going to the movies alone. No one to fight over the arm rest with, no one to snatch my popcorn or have to Shhh during the movie. And I can stay until the last credit rolls. The best way to see a movie! But only to a matinee or during the week...to embarassed to go on a weekend night alone :(
However, I can't even remember the last movie I saw.

    SACBARB...the picture says it all!!

HODI...glad you had a "me" day and you looked beautiful to boot!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Holy Buckets!!! I have 28 students in my room this year, I just saw my classlist on our teacher website.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Jennifer I am surprised your class is so big! Aren't classes supposed to be limited to student to teacher ratio?
DeeDee, wazamadda?? Can I be of any help?

EBJ,enjoy your party tomorrow. I must have misplaced my invitation :(

Jodi,we have had horrible heat and high humidity here!

Zona, I hope you puter Doctor doesn't have to give it last rites!
