This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!

~ Maybe Baby ~
by Tina~in_ut
More Sugarland. One of my favorites. I love that they are featuring Kristian Bush's voice for once instead of Jennifer Nettles, although I love her voice too.
Lynn, hoping that little Eva is better today. Sending lots of positive thoughts your way.
We had a wonderful day yesterday. We did get some upsetting news, my little niece Louisa (11 months old) spent her first Christmas in the hospital.
She was born with a hole in her heart, and got sick a couple days ago. She was admitted to watch her, don't have many details. Hope for an update tonight (they live in Germany).
Sooo I would appreciate good thoughts for my niece/goddaughter! Thank you!
Hope everyone had a nice day yesterday, and are enjoying your Sunday.
It is sunny but very cold here today, we had a big storm yesterday so the sun is a nice sight. Supposedly in for 2 more days of rain, starting tomorrow or Tues.
haven't stopped thinking about Eva...and am hoping for better news today.... there are several heartbreaking stories in the news. One of our new..young professors and his wife were headed to Dallas yesterday and another couple hydroplaned and hit them head on....all 4 adults and our professors little dog were killed but their 8 month old Emily is in the hospital with 2 broken femurs...a skull fracture...and some internal bleeding from the straps holding her in her car seat... It was a horrific crash...
I think a childs suffering is the worst thing ever....Emily will recover....and I am hoping with all my heart that the same is true for Eva.....
Hello Hooters! DeeDee, I am with you, I can't think of anything more heartbreaking than a child suffering. My prayers going out to the 3 little ones today.
Whabby, Happy Boxing Day! I remember that from last year! Loving that you are enjoying the season. Give Jim a big hug for me! bbl, got company....
I don't like landing at LAX either....all that paparazzi...the Santa Monica Municipal Airport is much more private with easy access to Beverly Hills and that area....
Well.. snow, snow, snow.. it is truly a whiteout... The news called for blizzard conditions and they were right..
Several of my clients flights have been canceled and there are no flights available in the next few days, so does not seem they will be going anywhere, since the airline canceled the flights, hoping for refund for them.. or they can use their ticket at a later date..
Lynn.. I have been thinking of Eva (love her name) all night, I am hoping all is going well.. plz update us..
Mo.. you are stunning, even in your PJ's.. :)
Bear.. safe travels and enjoy PSP
EBJ.. sending good thoughts your way for your goddaughter..
Tina.. LOL on your disguise, but because of your popularity I still think the paparazzi will know it was you.. :)
Just_Lin; I do indeed have a relationship with the avatar. We were trying to liven one of the guys on the crew up. So we (not "me" but the others who cause so much "joy" in my life) accidentally on purpose beat the living shit out of his car. The avatar is the replacement. A furry, four-wheeled jalopy which then took a cruise round the Los Angeles area.
Thanks, owls! Got here safely... and Carol, we're also watching Sound of Music!
Dee Dee: It never ceases to astonish me that all we can do is hope that such horrifying things don't happen to us, and trust in the fact that they're rare.
I had a heavy conversation with my sister and brother-in-law last night about what the odds are that we'll live to a riple old age so that we die in our late 80's or 90's. As opposed to getting picked off much earlier by accident or disease.
Sobering and mystifying is this thing we call life!
ha ha ha!
ReplyDeleteLYNN...still sending prayers for EVA. And the whole family.
ReplyDelete{{{{{hugs}}}}}
Absolutely, 'weenie! Doing the same!
ReplyDeleteAnd waving to you and everybody who will drop in later to celebrate Boxing Day! Really enjoyed everybody dropping by the Manor yesterday afternoon.
OK, off to LA to get picked up by Huz on the way to Palm Springs. Ta Ta For Now!
Good morning!
ReplyDeleteHi Mo and Whab!
Safe travels today, Whab.

MO LOL @ Tina tooting as that was what I was thinking, too. It seems her reputation precedes her, or would that be "follows" her. LOL

ReplyDeleteSure would make it easier to plan if we knew....our fate...I mean..
Once I got over fifty...I became astonished with each passing year..
but you never know if you'll have another day.....
it is heavy...
And the older we get, the faster the years go by. :(
ReplyDeleteContinued prayers today for EVA, EBJ's niece and those being affected by the blizzard.
ReplyDeleteI hope Monday is a better day for all.
