Backin Up

by Bonachichi

This video is currently all the rage in Europe. It came out of the great American heartland and is from an interview with a woman who was in a gas station during a robbery. At first I thought, “Yeah, it’s that strange EU sense of humor”. But I came to like it, and her. What do you think?

  1. I love this video! She is one of those people that shouldn't be interviewed....lol....you know...saying things like "my daddy taught be good"....

Also brings to mind that idiot that fell in the mall fountain while texting....and then she goes on national television with a lawyer saying she might sue!!!

That video has become a remix like this one as well...and its funny too!!

  4. Good morning Disaster Twins!

My first thought when I saw this vid was, "Stupid bitch from BFA". Then I realized; she's probably from a small mid-west town. It's probably the most exciting thing ever to happen to her. Not the best mind you, but the most exciting.

I saw the original interview.... without auto-tune and ProTools. The poor thing was in shock. I love that she didn't worry about what anyone would think. That's when I thought, "I hope she makes plenty of cash off this vid". And she has.

  5. Oh... And I do love the "My daddy taught me good", but my favorite by far is the, "Oh my God, they're dead".

  10. DeeDee Apparently, the idiot that fell in the fountain worked in that mall so it's not like she didn't know there was a fountain there. Her beef is that the security guards posted the vid on YouTube and now she feels humiliated. WTF? If she hadn't gone on TV about it, nobody would have been able to tell it was her. She outed herself, imho.

  12. J/L: ME TOO>.LOL..Love it!! backin up backin up backin up... he he

  13. agreed J/L...she let the world know who she is....and for that reason she is being made fun of around the world.... because of her whining..

I don't know for absolutely sure...but I think if I had took a tumble into a mall fountain and the video went viral...I would have wanted it to be a fun thing...like do Jay's show or something and laugh at myself....she could have had a lot of fun with that and made a lot of people laugh "with" her...but I guess one would need a personality for that sort of thing...

If you can't laugh at yourself I think ur missing some of the best fun....

  14. Okay, I've just looked at Fountain Girl. My first thought? Stupid Bitch. An nope, I'm not changing my mind on that.

I love the convenience of texting. But I absolutely despise the way people feel it's their right to put responsibility for their own safety in the public's hands because they just HAVE to send an important text about what they've just bought at the Ima Idiot Boutique.

  15. DeeDee~! I agree, if I couldn't laugh at myself, I would be a pretty sorry character. :) I have plenty to laugh about too. Being quite human and "I Love Lucy-ish". :)

  18. Bonach, Loved the vid! I hope that song doesn't stick in my head like "Pants on da floor"! That whirled around for a long time lol!

I had a couple cuties here for a few hrs. They were putting in a new front door for us. Since we needed a whole new frame cut out, it took them a while :)
I went to the big city today and unloaded my recyclables, and dropped off stuff at Goodwill. If it hadn't been for the "door" guys it would have been a boring day lol!

    Tina.... I have nothing :)

DeeDee, hope your intermouthdom is doing better!

Bebbi, I am re-naming you "Bubbly" again lol!!

JustLin,I wonder if I could have sued the parked semi, I ran into while running in a snow storm about 25 yrs ago. Is there a stature of limitations on stupidity?? :)

  19. DeeDee You are so right! She could have had fun with it, gotten on a talk show or two, like you suggested, all expenses paid and staying at nice hotels. Plus, just being on a talk show, they pay you a few hundred dollars, if I'm not mistaken. It could have been a fun adventure. But noooooooo.....

  20. Mary Sorry, but LOL at running into a parked semi. That must have really surprised you. Hope you weren't hurt too much. Were there witnesses?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Bonach I agree. I'm getting tired of people who think their safety is everyone else's responsibility EXCEPT their own.

  22. Justlin, bout knocked myself out lol! Yes, there were witnesses. I was on my way into work......embarrasing!

  23. Mary, you give real meaning to the phrase, "Watch out for that truck!".

I hope you all enjoyed the vid. I'll leave it up on my YouTube account, but all my vids are "unlisted". You can't find them without the link. So if you want to hear that particular version (without the adverts) bookmark the link and enjoy.

Now about that song sticking in your heads... Every time I back my car up, guess what I say aloud?? "Backinup backinup backinup..." :D I have yet to perfect the shuffle.
