This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
I beat you...I beat you...ha hahahahahaaa!!!! And don't say u weren't trying to get first!! Cuz ya were and ya know it!!!
does nana nana boo-boo dance and the 3 stooge woo woop woop woop and tweaks her nose followed by a ninja hah-jah!! SWOOSH! SWOOSH!! ...then a booty wiggle and a tittie shimmie...dusts off hands...
you know I have never lost the hard craving for a cigarette...in all these years when I hear the word or see someone smoking or smell it...I want a cigarette...
and I keep a pack stashed...and once in awhile I smoke one.....its usually wonderful....but then I feel guilty afterward. I don't do it very often....but the last time I was on my way to get my Diet Coke about 930pm and I had the window down about 3 inches to suck the smoke out and so I could thump the ashes out the window....well I hit a little bump when attempting to thump the ashes and crammed the cigarette into that rubber/felt like stuff that the window slides into when you raise it....
And what happened is very obvious to anyone who sees it...so its going to have to be replaced....
well..thats what I get for smoking in the car....
yep...next time I just have to have one I will just smoke it in the bed...
Zona, I have seen this guy's work before and it fascinated me. I read somewhere that when he drew something that looked like a hole, people actually walked around it. I would love to see his work in person.
I am waiting for Uncle Mike and Dr. Jim to finish packing and after breakfast they will head to Carmel. They don't leave CA until Feb. 11. I intend to go back to bed after they are gone so I can catch up on my rest. And my Uncle corrected me when I said he was 85...he is 87. Sheesh. Also, they will be celebrating 45 years together on Valentine's Day.
DeeDee It must be you that woke me up this morning with your bamming. Does that always happen when you walk into a room, kind of like a warning? You do look especially winsome today in those interesting shoes.
I wanted to not like that vid. I set my mind to be bored and suffer through it. I lasted almost 20 seconds before I became fascinated. That's un-be-flippin'-lievable!
DeeDee, that was quite a dance you did. I hope you didn't hurt yourself. It seems you chose a sensible venue, unlike your ballet follies.
I have to get a closer look at those "shoes". It looks like Christmas balls to me.
Those "devices" of DeeDee's. I don't see what use they are other than motivation for Flaming Arrow Target Practice. You see something like that and you just have to shoot it.
Thanks for the comments on the video..I'd never seen anything like this before and loved it! Plus the song wasn't half bad.. ;D
DEEDEE: Great BAM dance this morning! My mom would always crack the window in the car when she smoked..not thinking about her poor kids in the backseat and all the smoke and ash that blew right back into our faces through our open window!
TINA: I hope your good moaning continued right into the afternoon! :D
LYNN: How is your knee doing? I hope it's feeling better! :)
MO: I wish you could see it..and hear it!
J/LIN: I know!! I always wonder if it bothers sidewalk artists that their creations will most likely be gone the next day. btw..LOL@ the comment in 51! :D
SACBARB: Drawing or not..I wouldn't be surprised if I fell in that hole anyway! ;D
BONACHI: I'm glad you watched the whole thing..the Batman and Spiderman drawings at the end are something else!
those are antique Chinese shoes...very tiny and petite ...like me...and my love flower...
Yall remember Wanda Blevins? My OLD friend...? Well she and I were walking along the walk there at Venice Beach...well...I was walking...Wanda had on those inline skates...
Anywho...there we were walking and rolling and we came upon a crowd gathered around this huge hole...we had seen one of those sidewalk artist earlier that day so Wanda...sure that it was another artist...said she was going to skate through the crowd and right over that hole....
she got a hitch in her get-up and started moving really fast as the crowd waved their arms and yelled for her to stop....I stood there and watched her go into that hole feet first.....
I didn't see her until that evening on the news being interviewed!! She said she tried to be "backin up..backin up cause her Daddy taught her good" or some such nonsense...
SacBarb: Your homosexual relative and his homosexual "partner" are an affront to God and to the principles on which the Founding Fathers created this country.
Of course, we have tremendous compassion for your Uncle; we pray for his soul and strongly condemn any violence toward him and his ilk. Still, we must all work as hard as we can to ensure that people like him are prevented from having these kind of "relationships", as God only approves of homosexuals when they grow old lonely and partnerless and without the support that a significant other brings to one's life.
Good Moaning~

ReplyDeleteTina That bam probably knocked you back a bit. I hope you don't have a concussion.
ReplyDeleteZona I've seen some of these before. Fascinating how he's able to do that, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteSacBarb Your uncle is inspiring. I was going to say that I hope I'm that energetic at his age but I think I'm already losing that battle.
ReplyDeleteWaving good morning to LynnD and Maureen.

ReplyDeleteSACBARB...how inspirational your Uncle is! Good for him and his partner.

Am I right?
Dee Dee: OMG! I've missed Wanda! Good to see her back!
ReplyDeleteI've always had this idea that Wanda has some interesting connection to Helen and Misty. Don't you think?
