~ Happy St. Patrick's Day ~

An Irish man walks into a pub. The bartender asks him, "what'll you have?" The man says, "Give me three pints of Guinness please."

So the bartender brings him three pints and the man proceeds to alternately sip one, then the other, then the third until they're gone. He then orders three more.

The bartender says, "Sir, I know you like them cold. You don't have to order three at a time. I can keep an eye on it and when you get low I'll bring you a fresh cold one."

The man says, "You don't understand. I have two brothers, one in Australia and one in the States. We made a vow to each other that every Saturday night we'd still drink together. So right now, my brothers have three Guinness Stouts too, and we're drinking together.

The bartender thought that was a wonderful tradition.

Every week the man came in and ordered three beers. Then one week he came in and ordered only two. He drank them and then ordered two more.

The bartender said to him, "I know what your tradition is, and I'd just like to say that I'm sorry that one of your brothers died."

The man said, "Oh, me brothers are fine - I just quit drinking."

    Oh Crap it's St Patty's day. Well I just rolled out of bed and my teeth are a bit mossy I guess that will count for wearing green.

    It's the Zona's Anniversary??? Happy Day to you to!!!!!

    If I missed any other special events I am sorry. Just consider yourself part of my family because I am notorious for this. Waving a t every one!

    Hi Bebbi Lynn and Snatchi....

    I don't get this holiday....that story about St. Patrick driving the snakes out of Ireland is just made-up...they didn't even have cars back then...

    Bunch of baloney if u ask me...kinda like xmas...a liturgical and non-liturgical holiday...you choose....

    But I am wearing a string of jadeite beads since my teeth aren't green anymore....

    BARB - Love my hazelnut coffee!! I have a new fav....Dunkin' Donuts Hazelnut!! ZONA had sent me some for Christmas and they carry it in my local grocery store.....yeah!!!

    I am a corned beef and cabbage virgin no more!! My local meat market had take out, and oh my heck it was delicious!! I split an order and ate with my Dad and brought another home for my hubby. Let the fart games begin ;)

    Good evening Hooters!'It was warm and beautiful here in Michi today.
    I had a 2:30 optometrist appt today. I finaly saw my Dr @ 4:30! He is a cute & sweet man. He smiled and shook my hand as usual and asked how I was. In my sweetest Mary voice I said, "not bad except for waiting 2 hrs to see you". I couldn't believe how quick that smile turned into a frown! He started writing something in his notes and mumbled "some patients take longer than others". I don't usually say anything when they are running behind, but he never apologized in advance. I wonder if I should have kept my mouth shut lol!!

    Loved the card Tina. You rock!!

    MARY: I think it's good you told him..I waited in my Dr's office for over an hour once..and then spent another 90m waiting in the examining room. I told him..it never happened again.

    TINA(once more): I loved the card too..ditto what MARY said!

    Aunt Mary, I think you did fine telling him. I use to work for a clinic that housed 40 doctors and so many of them had a "Almighty complex" and saw patients when they were "ready too".

    We had a multi-cultural St. Pats dinner...Corned Beef, cabbage, carrots, taters and MATZO BALL SOUP! Oh, and Jewish Rye bread!!

    BEBBI...you look beautiful and oh so pinchable!

    ZONA...Happy Anniversary! I was thinking (shuddup TINA!)...you say the pool is still too cold for "swimming", but once you and Mr. Z get in and start "swimming" the water will be a bubbling and boiling real soon!!!

    Just got back from our Lacrosse games..we played the other Catholic high school..the JV team killed the other guys and the Varsity team won, but it was a close game and fabulous~ Now we're home watching the Zags play....winning there too (so far!)

    Mornin' everyone. It is 4:10AM in my part of the country and St Patty's Day is all over for another year. I went to lunch and they gave us green ice tea....and to top it off it was a Mexican restaurant.

    SACBARB: Went to theater tonight to see Traces, have you heard of it? I didn't think I would like it but I ended up enjoying the show.

    BEBBI: Here is a late pinch since I didn't get back here earlier. Whoops...now I woke you up pinching you in your sleep. Sorry, but you owl night shirt doesn't have green either!

    JODI: Are you up and going to work or maybe already there.
