This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!

Who Is Your Ben?
by Bonachichi
Don’t tell anyone... I love this song. It’s so sweet and it says so much about friendship. Who is the Ben in your life and how did this person become “Ben”?
lmbo......I was thinking of my cousin....and then I read this:
Don Black and Walter Scharf wrote this for the 1972 movie of the same name. It was the sequel to a movie called Willard, which was remade in 2003 starring Crispin Glover. Ben is a pet rat. In the movie, a young boy befriends the rat, but the rat turns evil and recruits other rats to attack humans. In the remake of Willard, Ben becomes an enormous super-rat.
Well I officially don't like this song anymore. It's been popping into my head and it's more annoying than the Backin' Up song. I actually like the Backin' Up song.
If you forget that the song was written for a rat, it says a lot about friendships. I don't think I have a Ben. I don't let people get that close to me. But it would be nice sometimes. I see a few "Ben and Me" couples here. I envy them.
BONACHI: I have this 45! I bought it before I knew that the movie was going to be about a man and his best friend the rat. I just can't think of it any other way now..it will always be 'the rat song'..too bad really..it has a really sweet melody.
YO MO! Badda bing badda boom Gorgeous! :D
TINA: Enormous Super Rat? Yikes! Sounds like my brother! ;)
DIANNE: I knew this song wouldn't be in your Top 10..lol..
SACBARB: Sounds like you guys had some wild weather last night..I hope everything is ok at your place!
Nikki is being a pest..I better get her fed..or let her out..or trip over her...or something..
Bonachichi. I knew this song was about a rat and was puzzled when you posed the question about having a Ben in our life. I don't have any Bens or their cousins, meeces, either.
Zona, I survived the storm with relatively no damage. My Irish furniture (Patti O'furniture) got tossed all over the yard, but it's plastic so it is unharmed.
I just got home from a wonderful concert by a Polish Philharmonic Orchestra. It was pouring down rain when we got out and we got soaked but I am dry and warming up now.
BTW, I tried to call you, but YOUR LINE WAS BUSY! I thought you were going to get call waiting??????
