  2. Good Morning Jennifer..

    Tina...simulates smile

Good God my blood ran cold when I opened this page....

Can we expect a visit and more vitriol from the "Mad Pussie Pictures" contributor??

Jennifer...nice orthography this morning!! Has someone been practicing!?

Tina...don't you think its time to retire that "catch-phrase" and move on to something new? After all...its not a polyester blouse...you can't keep it forever...

Once again (and we pronounce that "A-gane") as I posted very late last night in area 51....Whabbear was absolutely right....I knew when I posted about those movies that the "mis-connect" of words made it sound as though Mirren was in both movies....Colin Firth and Helena Bonham Cater and Geoffrey Rush were the stars of The Kings Spleen...

  3. Miguelito~ BAM!!!!! ewwwwww.....that left a bad taste in my mouth! I'll stick with moaning~ You look lovely today, btw~

    iteach~ you look divine today~ :D

  4. And I guess you all have heard...the Catholics have dug up the last Pope prior to his beatification...

I read that his carcass will be on display til everyone who wants a gander...has one....

I wish I had seen him alive....he seemed so "real"....and just like a Pope should be....I'll never forget his visit with the man who shot him and his forgiveness...

The new Pope doesn't hold a candle to him...well maybe he does...I am not familiar with all the ceremonial Catholic stuff and they do seem to do a lot with candles. smoke and mirrors...

That concludes my religion based post today...for a transcript please send $10,000.00 and a SASE to:

  5. Good morning feathered friends!

TINA...you are looking bright eyed and lovely today!

ITEACH...good morning. Do you and the kiddos have a fun filled weekend planned?

    MICHAEL...good morning to you, too.
I really liked the last Pope. This one I'm not so sure of...although I do think he was the first Pope in Popedom that visited Israel. But what does my opinion mean since I am not a practicing Catholic...or even a non-practicing catholic.

  6. That hat on Beatrice's head is hilarious, but what was she (and the designer) thinking? Is the purpose to see who can wear the most ridiculous tete topper?

    That is Beatrice, right?

  7. Gas update...last night, the gas that was 4.15 in the morning was 3.99. Why the fluctuations? To see how many poor saps that needed gas could get screwed for that 16 cents? It is DISGUSTING

  8. Just a quick post as I am at the beach and did not bring my computer and I am using Mr. Lynn D's and he is picky as to the sites I go to.

Jodi I thought about you all day yesterday. I could not write more as I had a full blown anxiety attack yesterday and was not in the best shape. Sorry.

I saw my new shrink and we are trying new meds. Big surprise.

What set me off is that we are not out of the woods yet with Eva. I don't want to go into details on the blog for now. Mr. Lynn D brought me to the beach for the weekend to get away and so I can try to get my emotions under control so I don't transfer my worry to my daughter.

Sending you all love and hope you all have a weekend with sunshine. Especially you Jodi!

  9. LMAO- I love those captioned pictures!

Good Moaning tina~ and all of you Hooters!

I can't believe it, but I have nothing on my to do list today. I actually have plenty to do, but I decided that today is a day for not looking at the list. :) It has been a long week and today is mine.

I almost choked on Michaels- "display his carcass". LMAO~ the reason that was so funny to me was that is exactly what I was thinking!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Big Hugs to you Lynn~
Enjoy the Beach and try to relax..

    ReplyDelete
  11. LYNN...glad u r at the beach. I know how much comfort and peacs it brings u. Eva remains in my thoughts and prayers.

GOLDIE...enjoy ur day of nothing to do. We all need days like that.

    ReplyDelete
  12. In honor of Goldie, I think I shall do nothing today, too!

  13. Re: Area 51

JODI-you are welcome. I agree about the organist- but it allowed me to sing in all my glory! LOL

Who would have ever thought that as I accepted communion from you and Eric that I would almost choke on my laughter as Eric and my Mom bantered. She said she had to dip the bread for so long because she didn't want to turn around and have everyone see her laughing!
She did call Eric 'a little devil'.

I'm glad she was able to lighten the mood and he was so charming and flirt with her!

  14. Happy Saturday Everyone - We are rushing out to take my "fur babies" to the beauty parlour but I wanted to check in with the blog before I do. Be back this afternoon.

Have a great day Owls. You all look very beautiful today.

  15. Mo- It is daddy weekend, however I have seen them a lot already. Last night was there FunFair at school and we were all their together. Then this morning we all sat together for Matthew's soccer game. Next I'm picking Philip up to go shopping for his First Communion suit. I like daddy weekends when I still get to see them a lot.

  16. Micahel if I spelled any words correctly this morning it was an accident. I am a horrible speller. :)

    ReplyDelete
  17. Lynn, I just said a quick prayer for your adorable granddaughter.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hi, HOoters! I awoke with a large swelling under my left ear and I'm not even with my Idaho boyfriend. Bwahaha! Seriously, folks, this is not cool to have an egg-sized lump on my jaw line. I need Beatrice's hat to misdirect attention away from it.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Tina Once again, you are the fairest moaner in the land. Blah, blah, blah...

    ReplyDelete
  20. iteach Salutations to you, too. I'm glad you are enjoying your day.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Michael That hat is exactly why my Idaho guy said it looked like the ladies were wearing Bug Zappers on their heads.

LOL @ the polyester blouse remark.

    ReplyDelete
  22. MO Someone needed to tell that girl "NO", yes? All it needed was a little steel ball and it would have been flashing "TILT".

    ReplyDelete
  23. LynnD I'm glad you are at the beach and hope you can relax and decompress. I will continue praying for little Eva.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Godie I thought I was going to go to work today but with this swollen jaw, I...don't...think...so. Therefore, I will be joining you and MO in a Do Nothing Day.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Tink I'm sure your doggies will be looking very beautiful when they return from their spa day.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Bonach Thank you for the blog today. I think cats are funny even when they aren't in funny photos. If you stand still while they are walking by you, then move your foot about 1/2 inch, they jump straight up in the air. Hilarious!

I expect we won't see Shirley today, though, as even pics of cats make her uneasy. That's too bad as they are very interesting and amusing creatures.

  27. I am so effing tedious, I can't stand myself.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I've succeeded at doing nothing so far, unless sleeping counts as something!

I have to take my cousin on some errands and then we are going to a friend's church's fundraiser.

gotta start spackling and painting my face...

    ReplyDelete
  29. JUST LIN...love your tedium!

ITEACH...glad you get to spend some time with the kids.

    ReplyDelete
  30. MO Well, then, you will definitely be doing something. So far, I am still doing nothing. I am doing a little spackling.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Mo- I am off to be with my cousins, very excited. We all decided to have dinner tonight together.

J/L What is that thing on your jaw?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Damn, I did something today. I went grocery shopping and a quick trip to J.C. Penny. BUT THAT IS IT and not doing another thing!

    ReplyDelete
  33. iteach and Goldie. You two are falling down on the job. Doesn't anyone know how to do nothing anymore?

    ReplyDelete
  34. iteach. Oh, yeah. I guess you didn't commit to do nothing like MONTH and Goldie and I did.

Btw, the swelling on my jaw line starting under my ear seems to be a swollen gland.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Where do I sign up for nothing? Today is my Monday with a little Saturday thrown in! ugh~

    ReplyDelete
  36. Tina You have to make a certain amount of commitment in order to do nothing all day.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Michael Btw, ROFLMAO @ the Fleeing Sodom and Gomorrah salt shaker!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. J/L~ Come on over next Thursday and watch my do a whole lotta nothin'~ I've perfected it....to my husband's dismay~ :)~

    ReplyDelete
  39. Tina Practice makes perfect. :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Well I was just about to say something about the free gifts I offered today!

    Thank you J/L!

I thought that was pretty good myself and nobody even gave a lol....

See there everyone...Even laying up there doing nothing with a goiter J/L recognized a good one when she saw it!!

Maybe everyone else needs a refresh!! When Lot and his Wife were fleeing the city God told them not to look back...well Lots wife looked back and God turned her into a pillar of salt...

I think God and I would get along well because that was a good one...lol

  41. Good Afternoon All Owls - For a day when everybody was taking a "do nothing day" I was very busy.
I should check the blog before I plan my day.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Michael my dear - I read your religious post about the Catholic religion and I don't know whether to laugh or be offended. We Catholics are very sensitive you know.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Maureen - Yes Pope John Paul II was the first Pope to visit Israel. It was a momentous occasion. I am impressed you knew that. I think a lot of Catholics are unaware of that fact.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Michael - I know you were just kidding but to keep the record straight, God warned Lot and his wife not to turn around. Lot's wife was curious, turned around and God turned her into salt.
    (Genesis 19:12).

    ReplyDelete
  45. Jennifer - I am glad you are having a good weekend. I know the weekends when your little ones are with him you must feel a little loss. My kids were grown and I was still sad when they spent the day with Jack. I am so happy he is home again and so is he. He made a very bad choice and regretted it.

    ReplyDelete
  46. That was easy to get "50". Everyone must be playing amongst the daffodils.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Lynn - I hope you are feeling better. Eva is such a healthy, happy looking baby, surely there is no problem. I will pray that there isn't. I smile every time I see your daughter's avatar.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Tina - I am free next week for my "moaning" lessons. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  49. Goldie - I mailed a letter to you today. Let's see how long it takes. Tina's card took 2 weeks to get here and Zona's card took over a month. Let me know when you get it. Maybe we will be surprised. I have known it to take only 3 days. I think it depends on whether the postman feels like working.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Just-Lin - Please get to the doctor with that swelling. I think it needs attention. This is Dr. Tink speaking.

My babies look so beautiful. I wish they could be done every week instead of every three.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Jack is busy barbecuing steaks. The sun is shining warm onto our sun deck that faces West. I think we will be able to eat outdoors for the first time today.

    ReplyDelete
  52. It's almost Saturday night. Let the good times roll.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Tinka I think the good times are going to just roll right by me tonight, what with this goiter and all. lq

    ReplyDelete
  54. Oh Tinka~ you made me laugh.....and ur such a good Catholic~ I love that!

Miguelito~ If you must know, I read ur post to Hollie.....she didn't find it as amusing as I did! I can see some of that Baptist coming out of you......and I just got back from church....mentioned you in passing to God.....hope it's enuf~ :D

J/L~ are you sure it's not a boil? I'd love to video you lancing it~ :)~

    ReplyDelete
  55. Back from dinner... it was fun and sad at the same time.

I had fun with the cousins and I really enjoyed seeing them.

However, it was a very beautiful restuarant and it made me miss the spermdonor....:(...We use to splurge ever so often and east somewhere really nice. It was our favorite thing to do.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Tina Eeeeeewww! Yes, I'm sure it's not a boil. It's very definitely a gland. And not a goiter either, since I don't have a thyroid gland. It's the gland that's right behind the earlobe.

Thats what I said at 6:43pm....

I didn't mean any offense...I just figured you bead squeezers are so used to being made fun off that you all are thick skinned...

I mean if Catholics took offense every time the media makes light of someone finding the Virgin Marys likeness in some guacamole or finds Gods face on a burnt tortilla and thousands flock to see it.. yall would be puffed up all the time....

and with that Pope now that looks like he is giving everyone the "stink eye" you have to have a sense of humor about it...

The gays love Catholicism!! Its the only religion where we have our own Saint!!

You know...that Saint of a Sissie...thats what I'm talkin' bout...

    ReplyDelete
  58. and btw Maureen...I don't think the Catholics are practicing....I think they think they have it down pat!!!

R U a practicing Jew? Or have you mastered it?

The funniest thing happened to me one fourth of July...I was going to Scottsdale and I boarded a LGA-DFW-PHX flight at DFW....honey...I walked into that first class cabin and it looked like Yetta from the nanny in most of the seats...I know I stood there and stared....lol

I thought...this is going to be a fun flight...then I had to remind myself that I knew none of these women....so I just had to sit there and catch and occasional glance...

I'd smile...they'd roll their eyes.....I figured they were thinking...

    Oy..the goyim...

    ReplyDelete
  59. Tina!

    check your pits...

    ReplyDelete
  60. Miguelito~ no need......I shaved this morning~

    ReplyDelete
  61. Sorry Michael. I think I am becoming Dyslexic because I read your 6:43 post as Lot's wife looked back and turned God into salt. I thought "What is Michael talking about?"
I guess I need my glasses changed.

As for my sense of humour, I did laugh at a lot of your comment, i.e. "order and receive a "Burning Bush" night light for your home!! And if you order today also receive a limited edition "Fleeing Sodom and Gomorrah " Salt Shaker!" That was funny.
But when you refer to the Pope's body as his carcass I did cringe. We loved him and watched the light in his bedroom window for hours on T.V. We knew if the light went out he had died. It was a sad night.

    ReplyDelete
  62. MICHAEL...I have mastered nothing in my life, so I guess I am still a praticing Jewish princess.

    ReplyDelete
  63. TINKA...I know a little about a lot of things! I was sad, too when the Pope passed. I had gone to the Vatican when I was in Rome and hoped I could get even a glimpse of him, but no luck.

    ReplyDelete
  64. JUST LIN...do go and get that gland checked out.

I wonder if Jewish people can get GOYters? LOL!! hahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  65. Obviously, I am back from Church. My cousin won $170 and our friend won $210. I, of course won bubbkas.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Maureen - I really do think he was a saint even if we didn't agree with all of his proclamations regarding subjects we are all familiar with.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Tinka~ I adore JP II~ the bestest~

    ReplyDelete
  68. We are off to watch an E.R. DVD. I have never seen that show before so we bought 3 seasons. I will be back later.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Tinka...

NO disrespect intended...as I said...to me he will always be the Pope...and I think many...including me...who aren't Catholic or even necessarily religious....were saddened by his death....

He was one of those leaders that just exuded love...

    ReplyDelete
  70. Michael - I didn't feel disrespected. I just didn't like that one word.
    LOL@practicing Jewish Princess.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Maureen - I would have loved to visit Rome but never made it and probably now never will. I did get to London and that was great. I stood outside Buckingham Palace but the Queen didn't come out. I called and called but no-body came out. Now I am telling lies but I did stand there a long time.

Jack met the Queen when he was a Principal in 1985. He happened to be Head of a new school that replaced the oldest school in the West. She visited that old school with Prince Philip. It still looks like it did in the 1880's. They had children there dressed in clothes of that era. The school I was teaching at was one of the schools that had the children stand on the side of the road and watch
her go inside. I have pictures of it. Maybe I will put one up. Jack looks like a young kid even though he was 49 at the time. The other Principals were quite envious of the fact that Jack got to shake her and Prince Philip's hand.

The Queen visited here about 3 times throughout the years. We loved it because she always gave a school holiday.

    ReplyDelete
  72. My farms are calling me. I will check back in an hour and see who made it to the nest tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  73. TINKA...what did you think of ER? I loved that show. When it first started, it started the same time as Chicago Hope. I prefered CH, but quickly became a huge ER fan.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Maureen - We just love E.R. I don't know why we never watched the shows when they were on the air. Now we will probably end up buying all 14 seasons. We are on season two. We watch one episode a night and it's become our little bedtime tradition. I can see why it won so many awards. I just love George Clooney and Noel Wyle.

    ReplyDelete
  75. We also watched the six seasons of "NCIS" and six of "Grey"s Anatomy". We have to wait until Sept. to get this year's season.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I have never seen Chicago Hope either. Maybe that is another series we can buy when we run out of the others.

    ReplyDelete
  77. My farms have been put to bed so I think it's just about time I went there too.
Good Night Little Owls. Sleep Tight.
